As part of our efforts to improve home missions, this beta update changes gameplay pressures in these missions by limiting how many times MidStream can be used each evening. This feature has not been fully tested, so is currently only available in beta. The update also includes several general bugfixes.

  • Added ‘Magnifying Glass’ feature, to zoom in on suspect evidence, which can be enabled during missions by holding down Left-Control
  • Fixed issue where evidence would sometimes need to be clicked twice when using BlackSheep or DeepLink if a different tool had previously been used on the same evidence
  • Fixed issue where evidence added to Strongbox could be double-counted as either correct or missed in some situations
  • Fixed issue with DeepLink tool where evidence could be marked as ‘Missed’ if it was DeepLinked on a ‘helper suspect’ profile, rather than the decision suspect profile

Need to Know v1.20.0 Update - Changelog

This update includes some bigger changes to Clearance Levels 10 & 9 to add some more complexity to gameplay, by introducing new powers earlier and using a wider variety of tools, along with other changes. This should serve both to increase the enjoyability of these parts of the game and to reduce the learning curve in Clearance Level 8.

We've just released two different updates to the game - one is a normal update (v1.19.3), and the other is a beta update, which includes some bigger changes to early parts of the game that haven't yet been fully-tested (v1.20.0b).
