🎯 [Item affix] Legendary+ tier engines and ships can now roll with unlockable skills (up to tier 5)! Some skills only roll for certain kinds of ships/engines. 🎯 [Continuum Entity] Ext-S Fragment: Extracts all skill bonuses from an item and stores them in a Continuum Entity. The item is destroyed in the process. 🎯 [Continuum Entity] In-S Fragment: Inserts the skill bonuses in the In-S Fragment to a desired ship or engine. Any existing skill bonuses in that item are replaced. 🎯 [Controller radial menu] Controller shoulder and trigger buttons can now be used for selection in radial menus. 🎯 [Keybindings] You can now bind all toggles in the radial menu (toggle the active skill, auto-fire weapons, auto-use auxiliary items and auto-boost engine) to keyboard/mouse keys. These options are available under Options -> Auto-use controls. 🎯 [Balance] The Founders T5 skill "Berserker Rampage" has been buffed. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed several issues related to skills that did not reset appropriately. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed a race condition that could cause items to not be equipped correctly. This was particularly common for coop clients when switching skill trees/ship hulls. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed a few incorrect tooltip texts.

🎯 [New ship] A new Dreadnought-class ship has been added to the loot table. The default variant of this ship is narrow and 1100m long. 🎯 [Performance] The particle effects system now generate fewer particles when a high sensor range is employed. This should improve performance for builds with high sensor ranges in hectic scenes (e.g., battle-type events). 🎯 [Particle effects] The screen flash effect is now less distracting. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed an issue that could cause loot containers on transports to remain invisible until the transport was destroyed.

Revisions to the controller radial menu

🎯 [UI] The controller radial menu has been revised. It now behaves more closely to the variant used in Diablo 3. 🎯 [Bug fix] A few issues that could lead to the main quest being set to an already completed quest have been fixed (this previously required manually setting the desired quest again in the quest log screen).
A new radial menu and master server status information

🎯 [UI] A new (gamepad-only) radial menu has been added that enables more easily enabling/disabling game screens that previously required two hotkeys pressed in combination (e.g., the inventory or map). The previous keybindings remain as-was; the radial menu is only enabled if the start-button is clicked (rather than pressed). 🎯 [UI] There is now information regarding the connection status to the master server in the public server listing. 🎯 [Balance] The final boss in Act 4 no longer resets if you move far away from it. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed a few incorrect texts. 🎯 [Bug fix] Fixed an issue that could cause events to trigger (for example doors to open) without going through all required stages of boss enemies.
Three month update!
It's now been three months since Nienix reached 1.0!
I am so happy to see so many people playing and enjoying the game! The months past the release (especially the first week) have been intense, but reading your feedback and watching you play really makes it all worth the effort.
So, what is new since 1.0?
There have been 54 patches deployed since 1.0, and significant new features are presented next. The full patch notes, that includes various other added features, bug fixes and balance changes, are available in the community pages as well as on Discord.
Continuum XXL and World Bosses
A campaign mode above Continuum XL has been added. It is unlocked upon completing the game on Continuum XL. Among other things, Continuum XXL includes five unique world bosses. These are rare and extremely powerful end-game enemies that provide Uber-tier loot when defeated. Each boss has a custom loot table.
A second skill tree
A second skill tree has been added! You can toggle the activate tree at any time outside of combat (or even during combat, if you have allocated points in the Axiom skill Quick-Swap!). The two skill trees are tied to the two ship hull configurations.
Encyclopedia
The encylopedia contains information about all in-game items and item modifications. You can check which items that support what mods, which effects they provide on different items, as well as read their descriptions.
Loot filter
A new loot filter has been added! Access it from the inventory (next to the encyclopedia). This new filter is separated for each character. In addition to specifying various filters for all kinds of items, it is also possible to override the default colors for different items and grades. Color overriding is done by manually editing the loot filter for the desired character. The lootfilters are XML-files located under /Data/Save. For instance, the loot filter for the third character (third row) is named "char2_lootfilter.xml".
Instanced loot
It is now possible to designate loot as instanced. The following options are available: 🎯 Free for all: Each loot drop is free for anyone to pick up. (This setting is what was previously available). 🎯 Distance: Each loot drop is locked to a randomly selected player that is located in the sector. Player loot filters are considered for this evaluation. 🎯 Locked: Each loot drop is locked to a randomly selected player regardless of where the player is located. Player loot filters are considered for this evaluation. The variant called "Distance" is the default value. This can be changed in the Loot section of the main menu options. Item locks are removed once the item has been picked up.
Continuum Transmuter
The Continuum Transmuter UI has undergone revisions to make its components more distinguishable. For example, there is now a preview of the outcome of a transmute. Newly unlocked recipes are now also better highlighted in the UI.
New skills and item sets
🎯 [New skill] Tiny but Deadly, a Founders T4 skill has been added: If using a Fighter-class non-Sentinel ship, all fixed-weapon bonuses to attack speed, critical hit chance, critical hit damage and elemental damage are increased by 4 (1 point)- 20% (5 points) of their current amount. At max level, this means that a base buff to attack speed of 200% becomes 240%. 🎯 [New skill] Pocket Pulverizer, a Vagrantis T1 skill has been added: If using a non-Sentinel ship that has a diameter less than {0} metres, fixed-weapon damage is increased by {1}%. 🎯 [Item set] A new item set called "Grandius Obliteratus" has been added. This set is especially useful for those who want their drones to wreak havok. 🎯 [Item set] A new item set called "Pocket Deathmachine" has been added. This set has been designed to make Fighter-class non-Sentinel ships stronger.
Russian localization

Quality of life
🎯 [UI] Properties of drone summons (all but proc-type summons) are now shown in much greater detail - especially in the modal/comprehensive tooltip variant. 🎯 [UI] A new bold font has been added - Noto S Bold. This font also supports Chinese and Russian. 🎯 [UI] When an item is compared to another, the icon of the equipped item is now highlighted in the tooltip. 🎯 [UI] An option to disable the white screen-flash has been added. This is located under the General section of the main menu options. 🎯 [UI] Text scale options are now per default increased for systems with low resolutions, such as the Steam Deck. 🎯 [UI] Text in the quest log screen and the dialogue screens now account for the desired text scale. 🎯 [UI] Most UI numbers are now prefixed when their value is really high.
