Contract Additions and Adjustments++



We are making one last adjustment to the contracts!
We felt that meeting the reforging system, one of the main systems of the game, was happening too late, so we made some changes.
The name of the existing 'Reforger' contract has been changed to 'Shop Reforger', and a new 'Reforger' contract has been added.


  • The name of the existing 'Reforger' contract has been changed to 'Shop Reforger'.
  • A new 'Reforger' contract has been added.
    - Install Reforger in the "Lupine Forest".

The efficiency of Totem: 'Sweet Apple' is so good that other active totems are not being used.
To improve this, a new contract 'Tactical Pocket' has been added.


  • Added the 'Tactical Pocket' contract.
    - Store one more Active Totem.
  • Modified the effect of the 'Veteran' set.
    - The effect of the 'Tactical Pouch' contract is the same as the 'Veteran' set, so the effect has been modified.
    - Active Totems have a 50% chance to recharge back to 100% on use. In this case, totems that are consumed on use will not disappear.

Finally, we have adjusted the order and price of the contracts!

Added Enemy and Statue Collection



The collection now includes tabs for enemy and statue.
You can keep a record of defeated enemies and used statues.

Pause During Boss Battles



You can now pause and resume during boss battles.

Random Weapon Adjustment



The random weapon selection has been changed to weapon selection.

Bug Fixes



  • Fixed an issue where certain projectiles kept moving to the room location.
  • Fixed an issue where HP corrution totems were abnormally applied when continuing in Nightmare 9 difficulty.
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to teleport to a boss secret room not shown on the map.
  • Fixed an issue where the revolver's overload attack did not hit guarding enemies at all.
  • Fixed an issue where back attacks did not apply to the revolver's overload attack.
  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to cancel after selecting a weapon while using the reforger.
  • Fixed an issue where the UI malfunctioned in the weapon description of the reforger.
  • Fixed an issue where the effect of Totem: 'Sword of Greed' triggered when defeating the scarecrow in the Boundary Shelter.

Contract Adjustments+


We have adjusted the contracts again, as we did in the last update.
This is because we want players to experience the fun of "Nightmare: The Lunatic" more quickly!
The 'Starting Capital' and 'Shield Kit' with minor effects have been combined into a 'Starter Pack.'
Additionally, we have brought forward the order of 'Nightmare Extractor' and 'Nightmare Analyzer' and reduced their prices.

  • 'Starting Capital' and 'Shield Kit' are merged into 'Starter Pack.'
  • The order of contracts has been modified:
    - 2nd row: Item Inverter, Starting Capital, Shield Kit -> Item Inverter, Starter Pack, Synthesizer

Improve Teleporter Usability



Previously, players could use the teleporter to move to rooms with teleporters.
But now, it is possible to move to rooms without teleporters!

  • Player can now teleport to rooms without teleporters.
    - Cannot move to rooms you have never visited.
  • The starting room teleporter no longer appears by default.


*Weapons



  • Shotgun reload time is affected by ATK Speed.
    - This has always been the case!
  • Shotgun reload time has been reduced.
  • Shotgun: Magazine reload time has been reduced.

Contract Adjustments



'Nightmare Extractor' allows players to erode their weapons directly to strengthen their builds in the desired form.
'Reforger' allows players to select Reforge they want on their weapons, broadening the scope of builds.
We have adjusted the order of Contracts, prioritizing diversity over strengthening builds.
The prices of Contracts have also been adjusted according to the new order.

Improve SP Attack Usability



During battles with flying bosses (ex. Sol Dea), players often need to attack while in the air.
Due to the weapon's attack speed, there were instances where it was impossible to hit enemies in the air.
While this is an unavoidable characteristic of the weapons, we deemed it unreasonable for SP Attack consuming SP to also fail to hit enemies in the air, and have thus modified SP Attacks to be usable in the air.

  • Now, when using SP Attack during a fall, the fall speed will be reset.
  • The following weapons will no longer be affected by gravity when using their SP Attack in the air.
    - Bow
    - Revolver
    - Axe
    - Spear (Basic)
    - Buster Sword
    - Slime (Basic)
    - Gauntlet: Dirty Boxing
    - Orb
    - Sniper Rifle


*Bug Fixes



  • Fixed an issue where the game would sometimes not progress after defeating Regina.

*Bug fixes



  • If there is a problem with Resume data and you cannot proceed on a black screen, Resume data is automatically deleted.
    -> Even if Resume data version and current game version are different, it can be deleted.
    -> If a problem occurs, such as the weapon or totem disappearing, please select Restart.
  • Fixed an issue where the corruption of the corrupted totem disappeared when Resume from Nightmare 9.
  • Fixed an issue where HP was reduced even with barrier when DMG Taken was over 100%.

Fixed Nightmare 7 and Added Nightmare 8


The original Nightmare 7 prevented players from getting stronger. However, we changed this because we thought it would be more fun to strengthen the enemy rather than weaken the player.

  • Nightmare 7: Removes a totem When entering boundary shelter-> fast mutation added, o1 random stand in the Shop is sold out

And we added Nightmare 8 difficulty. Additionally, Nightmare 9 will be added during the summer discount period, so please wait.
Nightmare 9 is expected to be the highest difficulty level. Of course, we can’t be sure either!
(Nightmare difficulty achievements will be updated with Nightmare 9.)


Add Contracts


2 Contracts are added.

  • Selection Vending Machine: Change the Totem Vending Machine to the Selection Vending Machine
    -> Can choose 1 of 3 totems, can be refreshed with Dream Shards.
  • Discount event: Occasionally get 50% off a random item in the store

Improved Reforges


We have improved Reforges with poor performance. Please check the weapon modifications below for more details!


Modification of Totems Included in Each Set


The totems included in the set have been modified.

  • Most sets have totems added, but some sets exclude totems.
    (Still, the total number of totems included in the set has increased!)
  • Some totems are included in multiple sets at the same time.
  • Even if you do not acquire the set, if you acquire the included totem at least once, it will be displayed in the collection.
    (It will be recorded starting from this build.)

  • Fixed an issue where Bow: Wave's SPAttack arrows were blocked by the walls of Regina's arena.
  • Fixed an issue where the rat crossbowmen would attack in the direction opposite to the player.
  • Fixed an issue where Spear: Swiftness's basic attack sometimes did not work while overloading.
  • Fixed an issue where the friend did not return when the Curse: 'heavy friend' was removed.
  • Fixed an issue where the screen would appear blue when using Totem: 'Hourglass' in the boss room.

  • Explosive projectiles now explode each time they penetrate an enemy.
  • Reward chests now automatically move to the player's location when they land on a spike.


*Weapons



  • Sword: Rapid Drawing’s damage and range have been increased.
  • The second hit of the Sword: Penetration's overload attack becomes a critical hit.

  • The charging time of Hammer: Concentration has been reduced.
  • Hammer: Lightning's SP Attack sometimes electrocutes enemies.

  • Bow: Storm's basic attack now pierces enemies and bounces off walls.
  • The number of Bow: Wave's SP Attack arrows has been reduced and the damage has been increased.
    (Total damage is the same.)

  • Even with Revolver: Special Munitions's overload attacks, the second bullet becomes a special bullet.
  • Revolver: Fanning has been modified to fire bullets directly at the parrying target.

  • The name of Buster Reforge has been changed to Sagnan Buster.
  • Buster Sword: Charge enhancement has been modified to Sagnan Sword.
    -> The stance is fixed to the sword stance.

  • Slime: Elasticity's slime ball is treated the projectile.
  • Slime balls pop out even during Slime: Elasticity's overload attacks.
  • Slime: Split has been fixed.
    -> Overload additional effect removed
    -> SP Attack change: Cost 30, summons two slimes that last for 10 seconds.
  • Slime: Toxic Gas is emitted not only when dashing, but also when jumping, parrying, or landing.

  • Dual Blades: Coalescing duration has been increased to 5 seconds.
  • Dual Blades: Coalescing's buff does not disappear even after enhanced attack.
  • Dual Blades: Coalescing's SP Attack drags the enemy.
  • Dual Blades: Wield by Will has been modified.
    -> Basic effect change: Swords proportional to ATK speed follow you.

  • You can now switch left and right directions during the shield's SP Attack.
  • Shield: Charge charging time has been reduced and charge distance has been increased.
  • Shield: Iron Wall has been modified.
    -> SP Attack change: Cost 60, Summons a defense area that last for 15s. Staying in the area reduces DMG Taken by 30% and enhances parrying.

  • Shotgun: Magazine no longer requires reloading while overloaded.
  • When the Shotgun: Speedloader counterattacks, it fires mega round and does not consume bullets.

  • Gauntlets: Out-Boxer’s effect has been modified.
  • Gauntlets: In-Fighter's effect has been modified.

  • Orb: Amplification's SP Attack amplification amount has been increased.

  • Shuriken: Enlarge's shuriken summons a bouncing shuriken when it hits an enemy now.
  • Shuriken: Ambush's SP Attack now drops additional gold when killing an enemy.

  • When a Sniper Rifle: Penetrator's bullet penetrates an enemy, it explodes.
  • Sniper Rifle: Penetrator's SP Attack bullet ignores all enemy defenses.

  • Now, becomes invincible while the Greatsword's SP Attack jumping.
  • Greatsword: Charge's SP Attack cost is reduced to 15.
  • Greatsword: Run Up's charging time has been reduced and the hitting range when charging has been increased.


*Totems



  • The blade that appears when using Totem: ‘Dancer’s Blade’ is now treated as a friend.
  • Corpse bats spawned through Totem: 'Corpse Bat' are now treated as friends.


*UI



  • You can move to OK by pressing the right key in the Input Settings.
  • When selecting weapons/totems, the focus will automatically move to reset once all selections are made.
  • Ability descriptions are displayed in the inventory.
  • Category shortcut keys have been added in the inventory/collection.
