Difficulty Adjustment and Sweet Dream Mode Added


There was a lot of feedback that the Normal was difficult for light users.
We thought it would be hard to learn the game if the Difficulty was high for the first time, so we adjusted the Difficulty.
The sooner you get used to the game, the more fun you will have!

  • Easy: Deleted
    -> Added 'Sweet Dream' mode
    -> Sweet Dream mode can be applied at any Difficulty.
    -> If Nightmare Difficulty is too hard, challenge with a sweet!
  • Normal: Adjusted
    -> Enemy ATK decreases and attack delay increases compared to Hard.
    -> The boss attacks more slowly and discontinuously compared to Hard.
  • Hard: Added
    -> Same as the last Normal
The last Normal has been adjusted to Hard, and the new Normal has been adjusted to a difficulty level between Easy and Hard.
Instead of deleting Easy, we added 'Sweet Dream' mode.
The difficulty level above Nightmare remains the same!
We hope more players find the game enjoyable and see the end of it!


Remove The Last Frame From The Player's Room


The Last frame in the player's room has been prepared for content to be added later.
So it's natural that it won't open, but we didn't think it would confuse players.
We have deleted it to avoid further confusion.
We are very sorry for any confusion!


Weapon Balance Adjustment


The Shield's swap buff was created with the intention of parrying by swapping weapons, and it was confirmed to work as intended.
However, we also felt that it made the game a little easier.
Therefore, the function will be maintained, but the duration will be modified so that it should be used with more timing.

  • Reduced Shield's swap buff duration
    -> Duration: 6 seconds -> 4 seconds
The Greatsword's SP Attack is slow and difficult to hit, but it only cost 20 SP, so the damage is low.
SP cost has been increased to 30 and damage has been increased to make it easier to inflict damage.

  • Increased SP cost and damage for Greatsword's SP Attack
    -> SP cost: 20 -> 30


Drop Chest When Defeating A Boss


There was an opinion that it was boring because there was no reward after defeating the boss.
The boss reward can actually be obtained from Boundary Shelter, but we thought that opinion made sense.
So we added a little reward!

  • Boss chest is now dropped when defeating a boss.
    -> Random erosion weapon guaranteed drop
    -> Low probability of dropping a Dream Shard Box
    -> Golds, Dream Shards, Artifact Fragment drop


Collection in Pause


It would like to fill out the collection, but there was an opinion that it would be difficult because it can only be viewed in the player's room.
You can now view the collection from the pause menu while playing!

We thought that the patterns feel a bit plain, so some of the patterns will need to be adjusted.

Please understand that it has been reset due to changes in the save method and unlock method.

Starting with the full version, you can view statistics and play history within the game.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to check because the early access version did not have a recording function.
Please take note of this.

2. About Language


The languages currently supported are Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
We wanted to re-support all the languages that were supported in the early access period, but circumstances made it impossible...

3. Price Increase

As planned in Early Access, we've added a lot of content, which has resulted in a price increase.
The current price for each country is based on the Steam Suggested Price at the start of Early Access.
However, when we raise the price, the new Steam Suggested Price will be applied, so some countries may see a large price change.
(As a result, the price of the soundtrack ($4.99) will remain unchanged, but will increase slightly in most countries).

We'll discount 20% at official release.

*The store's supported languages have been modified to display only Korean and English.
Tutorials and events have been modified, so translation using a translator is provided in the current version.

It's been a while since I updated!
It is probably expected to be the last update before official release.
Unless there is a hotfix.

*The store's supported languages have been modified to display only Korean and English.
Tutorials and events have been modified, so translation using a translator is provided in the current version.
As a result, the quality of translation decreased significantly, so other languages were inevitably excluded.
We need to outsource the translation again, but it is difficult with our current financial situation.
However, if sales increase again, we will include all supported languages again!

*Major updates


  • Tutorials and events have been modified. Please play one more time. It's really the last time!
  • The structure of the wagon has been changed. If you go to the right, you will see the training area.
  • Ability system has been added. You can select abilities at the training ground.
    - 'Basic: When changing weapons, the special attack gauge charge of 20' is changed to an ability.
    - 'Basic: When parrying, the ability to instantly charge 1 gem' is changed to an ability.
  • A total of 26 totems have been added.
  • A total of 3 totem sets have been added.
  • Traces of Nightmare: 20 blessings and 17 curses added.

  • Modified so that the item description window does not appear when there are enemies within range.
  • The effect that activates when being hit has been modified to apply to DOT damage as well.
  • The maximum value of screen shake has been increased to 200%. You can change it in Settings -> Gameplay tab.
  • The parrying judgment has been modified to be more reasonable.
  • The floor color of Stage 3 has been changed.
  • You can turn off the lowering of view using the down key in Settings -> Gameplay tab.
  • The HP of the training ground scarecrow has been modified to 300.

  • The option to remove the block cooldown of the Weapon: 'Shield' Overload has been removed.
  • Weapon: ‘Spear’ SpAttack distance has been reduced.


*Enemies

  • The attack delay of enemies appearing in Stage 1 has been modified.


*Bosses

  • Boss: ‘Sun Goddess Statue’ and Boss: ‘Sol Dea’ bullet summon locations are now displayed.
  • The difficulty of some patterns of Boss: ‘Permanent Generator’ has been lowered.


*Totems

  • The cooldown of Totem: ‘Armadillo’s Shell’ has been modified.
    - 5 rooms -> 40 seconds
  • The effect of Totem: ‘Suspicious Mushroom’ has been modified.
    - Damage increase: 2x -> 1.5x
    - Added recovery full HP effect when clearing 5 rooms
  • The rotation radius of the Totem: ‘Cube of meat’ has been increased.
  • Cooldown added to Totem: ‘Frozen Heart’.
  • Totem: ‘Chain Harpoon’ can no longer pull in enemies that ignore physical force.
  • Totem: 'Grenade' and Totem: 'Faded Gold Shuriken' can now be thrown in a set direction.
  • Hitting the Scarecrow in Vigil Rest with the Totem: 'Sword of Greed' no longer produces gold.
  • The effect of Totem: ‘Lightning Heart’ has been changed.
    - Critical probability increases by 1% per 20 maximum health.

  • The price of using the teleport in Curse: ‘Toll Collection’ has been reduced to 30 gold.

  • Now, when using an imp statue, there is a chance that the imp statue will break.
  • The price of the Black Dice statue has been reduced.

Here are some new updates!

1. System changes


We're telling you this because the most basic system of the game is scheduled to change.
Planned system changes include:

- Added Select player ability
- Gem charging when parrying, SpAttack gauge charging when changing weapons: Changed from basic ability to optional ability


The current tutorial explains so many functions that it is difficult to learn all of them even after completing the tutorial. Weapon Change, SpAttack gauge charging when changing weapons, Change Buff, parrying, gem charging when parrying, etc...

We decided that it would be difficult for players to realize all of these functions on their own without explanation, so we included them all in the tutorial. However, this seems to have made it more difficult to learn the most basic functions (dashing, parrying, weapon change, etc.).

We determined that the cause of this was too many base abilities. Since you have additional functions that are added to the basic functions from the beginning, it is difficult to learn them in order.

So, we plan to change it so that players can select and acquire additional functions.

Of course, simply changing these additional functions from basic abilities to optional abilities would simply increase the number of steps you have to go through, so we plan to provide more options.

Currently, the additional functions are focused on weapon change play (which we recommend), but we want to expand the range of options to allow for a variety of play styles.

We hope these changes make it easier for players to get into Nightmare: The Lunatic!


2. Stage 5 Boss



This is Stage 5’s boss, Regina, Empress of the Arena! Development is currently being finalized. We can’t wait to fight too!
But it looks like an outfit I've seen before somewhere... It's probably a coincidence, right?


3. Additional Weapons



We are revealing the weapon design that will be added in the next Update. You might know the concept of the weapon right away when you see it. We won't give any further explanation. haha.
