In the Steam client, right-click on the game from your library and select "Properties".
Select the "BETAS" tab.
Select the "test" branch listed in the dropdown menu under "Select the beta you would like to opt into".



The game then should automatically update to the test version.

To switch back to the public branch, just select "None" in the betas dropdown.

Beta 5 "Verticality" Patch (Beta 5.5.0)

  • Added the "riot" helmet to the SWAT faction customization items
  • Added a new helmet (headphones + short hairs) for the SWAT faction

  • Improved performances and timeline shortcuts placement after using undo/redo (resets the timeline to 0 though)
  • Reduced the amount of shotguns used by Cops and Guards enemy factions
  • Removed light sources from skirmish mission maps (for performance reasons)

Hotfixing the latest Patch! (Beta 5.4.1)

This fixes the unintended campaign progress reset introduced by the Beta 5.4.0 patch (it should only have reset your character visual customization).
Unfortunately, it won't restore your progress if you already launched 5.4.0, I'm very sorry about that.

Beta 5 "Verticality" Patch (Beta 5.4.0)

New patch = more bug fixes and improvements!

Improvements



  • Nerfed enemies burst cooldown modifier (-10% -> +10%)
  • Removed the other entries around the player's score in leaderboards


Fixes



  • Fixed the character customization not always being saved correctly (sorry, this will reset your current customization)
  • Fixed some props blocking path in some room templates
  • Fixed the camera obstacle hiding option not being saved when toggling it while the replay is not paused
  • Fixed tilt angle of the agents when reacting to an enemy on their side
