You can now only enter through the Guthix (green) portal to ensure more balanced teams.
Players will now earn 1 additional ticket for participating in a game.
On members worlds, players are now granted Plaudits alongside tickets. These Plaudits can be used to purchase Castle Wars supply crates via Lanthus.
All Castle Wars world changes:
The Castlewars brew now also applies the effects of a Stamina Potion and Super restore when consumed. Note: The reduction in run energy depletion associated with Stamina potions won't occur on F2P worlds.
Helmets can now be worn in Castle Wars, enabling the use of armour set effects.
Bandages now scale with your Hitpoints level and can overheal, similar to Anglerfish.
Castle Wars bracelets can now be handed to Lanthus to store charges, automatically consuming one per game.
You can now use blighted food and cast Vengeance with blighted sacks while in the Castle Wars lobby.
Players now receive a Rune Pouch when entering Castle Wars, providing unlimited runes for select spells. Note, these spells no longer grant casting XP when the pouch is used, but still award XP based on damage dealt. To earn full Magic XP, you will need to drop the pouch and bring your own runes.
A new barricade cap on dedicated Castle Wars worlds restricts teams to 7 barricades outside and 10 inside the base.
Placed barricades now have a coloured rope to indicate what team they belong to.
Barricades can now be placed in front of the respawn barriers.
A new element has been added to the Castle Wars Heads-Up Display, showing the number of barricades your team has placed both inside and outside your base.
Small walls have been added to the stairs and ladder at the respawn point, allowing players to range over them and create more strategic barricade placements.
On non-Castle Wars worlds, players within Castle Wars will be able to shove targets back-to-back using the Dragon Spear and Zamorakian Hasta special attacks. On Castle Wars Worlds, players will still be unable to perform consecutive shoves on the same target.
There is now a table with buckets in the supply room where the bucket spawn used to be.
Fixed a bug where the player's overhead yellow arrow would not disappear after depositing the flag.
Poll 83: Rune Pouch Changes
The Rune Pouch UI has been upgraded to include new 1, 5, X, and "All" options for easier Rune withdrawals and deposits.
Other Changes
Fixed a bug causing the Moons of Peril to stop functioning if killed with Sunfire damage.
Fixed a bug where the auto-weed setting was incorrectly appearing off when it was on, and vice-versa.
You can no longer skip one of the shortcut obstacles in the Fremennik Slayer caves by interacting with a different obstacle.
An optional warning has now been added when 'using' items on an Explorer's Ring to alch them. The warning can be disabled via the game's main Settings menu.
Adjusted the Chaos Fanatic's AoE attack so it only affects the last player who engaged in combat.
Removed unintended range blocking from the chaos rift and a fallen tree in the Wilderness to improve consistency as they visually look like you should be able to fire projectiles over them, but previously couldn't.
Selecting the "Experienced" option in the dialogue should set "Casting Alchemy Spells on Untradeable items always triggers a warning" to enabled and "Minimum item value needed for Alchemy spells warning" to 150k.

Poll 83: Castle Wars Update
Castle Wars Brews
Raise your vials, because Castlewars brews just got a double shot of power! Now, when you down a brew, you'll not only get the usual combat kick, but also the effects of a Stamina Potion and Super Restore too! That means more energy to sprint into battle and a quicker recovery to keep you in the fight.
Helmets On
Hood holding you back? No more! Players can now wear helmets in Castle Wars, unlocking all those coveted armour set effects – whether you're sporting Torva or rocking that Void, now you can look sharp and fight even sharper!
Bandages That Mean Business
No more half-hearted healing! Bandages in Castle Wars now scale with your Hitpoints level and can overheal, just like Anglerfish. That extra bit of health could be the difference between a quick retreat and a triumphant comeback. Slap on those bandages and charge back to the fray with confidence!
Portal Changes
If you love the color green, then get ready to celebrate because Guthix is taking over! Castle Wars has always been a blast, but those one-sided games? Not so much. We’ve borrowed a little magic from Soul Wars to bring back the balance.
Now, on dedicated Castle Wars worlds, you’ll be entering only through the Guthix portal, ensuring that teams are more evenly matched. No more Saradomin and Zamorak portals causing team stacking! We’re putting a stop to those unfair sides once and for all.
Prefer your games the old way? No worries! If you're playing on a regular world, you can still waltz through any portal and pick your side. No green pressure there.
We hope these changes will make every match more competitive, more exciting, and more fun. So grab your Ancients, rally your team, and get ready to battle - this time, it’s going to be a fair fight!
Bracelets in Castle Wars - they're great for those sweet buffs, but let's face it, they often get tossed aside at the start of the game. Well, worry no more - Lanthas has got your back and is here to save the day (and your bracelets)!
With this update, you can now store bracelet charges with Lanthas, keeping them safe for future battles without the hassle. You can even store noted versions! At the start of each game, one charge will automatically be used, and if you're not feeling it, this feature can be toggled on or off.
Lanthas won’t just take your bracelets and run, though - a confirmation prompt ensures you don’t accidentally deposit more than intended. If you’ve got a handful of bracelets, the Deposit-X option lets you store multiple at once.
Castle Wars Rune Pouch Update
Ready to cast spells without the headache of remembering your runes? Introducing the Rune Pouch to Castle Wars!
When you jump into a Castle Wars game, you’ll be handed a temporary Rune Pouch loaded with all the runes you need to cast your favorite spells. Forget about worrying if you packed the right runes - just hop in and start casting! Here’s the catch though: This pouch won’t earn you any cast XP for spellcasting, but you will still get XP for dealing damage! To earn full Magic XP, you will need to drop the pouch and bring your own runes.
Dropped your pouch or accidentally lost it in the heat of battle? No worries! You can grab another one from the table in your team’s spawn area. For those who prefer their own runes, just ditch the Rune Pouch, and you’ll be back to casting with full XP rewards. If you’ve got both personal runes and the pouch, don’t sweat it – the pouch will take priority when casting, so you won’t end up wasting your personal stash.
What Spells Can Be Used?
The Rune Pouch opens up a world of combat and utility spells across the Standard, Ancient, Lunar, and Arceuus spellbooks. Here’s a breakdown of the spells you can cast, depending on your chosen spellbook:
Standard Spells: Wind Strike, Bind, Snare, Entangle, Saradomin Strike, Claws of Guthix, Flames of Zamorak, and more.
Ancient Magicks: Blood Barrage, Ice Barrage, Smoke Burst, and other PvP-relevant spells.
Lunar Spells: Vengeance, Spellbook Swap, and Energy Transfer.
Arceuus Spells: Ghostly Grasp, Vile Vigour, and Ward of Arceuus.
Also to note:
Spells requiring a staff (e.g., Saradomin Strike, Claws of Guthix) will still require the appropriate staff to cast.
Non-PvP utility spells like High Alchemy and Enchanting remain restricted.
We hope this change lets you dive into Castle Wars without the hassle of packing your own runes, so you can get straight to the action, while still respecting the grind and integrity of your standard magic training methods.
More Tickets, More Loot!
Who doesn’t love a little extra loot? On dedicated Castle Wars worlds, we're boosting your rewards with an additional ticket just for participating. Here’s the new, shiny reward structure:
Dedicated Castle Wars worlds:
No points draw → 2 tickets each
Draw with points → 3 tickets each
Win (both teams scored points) → 3 for winners, 2 for losers
Win (no lost flags) → 4 for winners, 2 for losers
Non-Castle Wars worlds:
No points draw → 1 ticket each
Draw with points → 2 tickets each
Win (both teams scored points) → 2 for winners, 1 for losers
Win (no lost flags) → 3 for winners, 1 for losers
On dedicated Castle Wars worlds, members will now earn Plaudits alongside tickets. These Plaudits can be exchanged with Lanthus for Castle Wars supply crates. Lanthus's store has been revamped with a sleek new interface, but don't worry - the classic rewards are still available at their original prices.
Love a Barricade tactic? We've also made the following tweaks:
A new barricade cap on dedicated Castle Wars worlds restricts teams to 7 barricades outside and 10 inside the base.
Placed barricades now have a coloured rope to indicate what team they belong to
Barricades can now be placed in front of the respawn barriers.
A new element has been added to the Castle Wars Heads-Up Display, showing the number of barricades your team has placed both inside and outside your base.
We've also made the following changes:
Small walls have been added to the stairs and ladder at the respawn point, allowing players to range over them and create more strategic barricade placements.
On non-Castle Wars worlds, players within Castle Wars will be able to shove targets back-to-back using the Dragon Spear and Zamorakian Hasta special attacks. In the Wilderness and on dedicated Castle Wars worlds, players will still be unable to perform consecutive shoves on the same target.
There is now a table with buckets in the supply room where the bucket spawn used to be.
Fixed a bug where the player's overhead yellow arrow would not disappear after depositing the flag.
Rune Pouch Changes
Say goodbye to Rune management headaches! The Rune Pouch UI just got a nice little QoL upgrade with new 1, 5, X, and "All" options for withdrawing and depositing Runes, making swapping them out easier than ever.
Selecting "All" will set it as the default left-click for both actions - so no more right-clicking and hunting for that one pesky option! Plus, your last selection is saved even after logging out, so you won’t have to set it again every time you play.
Selecting the "Experienced" option in the dialogue should set "Casting Alchemy Spells on Untradeable items always triggers a warning" to enabled and "Minimum item value needed for Alchemy spells warning" to 150k

Poll 83 Changes
Updated the Slayer Cape perk when used at Konar to reassign tasks within the same area. The perk now considers the specific location of the task when offering a repeat assignment.
You can now cast Alchemy by using items on the Explorer’s Ring, removing the need to wear it or navigate a dialogue box.
Added a new dialogue option to receive another farming contract at the same tier as the one a player has just completed.
You can now mouse over any fairy ring you have unlocked on the world map to be reminded of its code.
Added a seed pack reward to Tithe Farm in exchange for points.
Prayer tooltips now shows the base drain rates of all prayers.
Updated the Shades of Morton's chest designs with clearer markings on top, making them more distinguishable.
Mazchna, Vannaka, and Chaeldar now assign Slayer tasks to hunt Crabs. This includes Ammonite, Frost, Rock, Sand and Swamp crabs.
All skill guides now feature a new tab named after the skill, providing an overview of what the skill is and the benefits of levelling it.
Your game settings will now be automatically adjusted based on your choice when asked on Tutorial Island whether you’re a Beginner, Returning, or Experienced player.
Player Support Update
From today onwards, whenever your macroing (botting) report has been reviewed and actioned, you'll receive an inbox message directly in your Message Centre.
Emote Looping Continued
The emote looping feature has been added to an additional 45 emotes. This also includes looping for specific treasure trail items such as Flared trousers, Sleeping cap, Powdered wig and Pantaloons.
W345 Permanent Deadman Changes
Increased the rarity of Charms and stopped players with Deadman protection from obtaining them. This is to help the prices of the items long term and reward players taking those risks with extra loot!
Removed the Elite Diary requirement for purchasing Elite Void. Now you can simply take a regular Void Knight Top or Void Knight Robes to the Elite Void Knight at Pest Control and upgrade your regular void pieces to Elite void pieces for 200 points per piece!
Added an option to change the respawn location to the Grand Exchange. Talk to Brugsen Bursen at the Grand Exchange to choose your respawn point upon death, similar to Deadman Armageddon.
All players can now use Chivalry, Rigour, and Augury in Permanent Deadman Mode provided they have the prayer level requirement, regardless of their defence level. Chivalry still requires the completion of the Holy Grail quest, Rigour and Augury still requires the prayer scrolls.
Trinkets now turn to Trinket dust upon death, similar to Charms.
The old Deadman skulls (as seen in Bounty Hunter) have returned to Permanent Deadman.
A check has been added to prevent skulled players from diving with the rowboat on Fossil Island.
Other Changes
Logging out whilst in the Theatre of Blood or Tombs of Amascut while you have an Escape Crystal in your inventory will now consume the crystal and teleport you outside of the raid on login, preserving any HCIM status you might have.
Aggie in Draynor Village has been updated with a Make-All interface for her red, yellow and blue dyes. Instead of crafting dyes one at a time through dialogue, you can now quickly select how many you’d like to make in one go.
Lore books in Chambers and TOB will no longer drop once a player has read them.
Fixed an issue where getting hit by another player's 'Duel' operation while using Mystic Cards would cause Emote 'Loop' options to stop working until the player moved tiles.
The Alchemist's Amulet can no longer be purchased when the player has no space in their inventory.
Fixed an issue where quickly destroying the Orb of Oculus while activating the Scry function could crash the client.
Getting saved by a Phoenix necklace no longer restores your sanity in a Whisperer fight.

Poll 83 QoL Changes
This week, we’re rolling out some of the QoL Poll 83 changes you’ve been waiting for - with even more coming next week! Below is a rundown of the latest updates we've implemented, many of which were inspired by your feedback. So, grab a cuppa and let's dive in!
Slaying Crabs
Shellfish enthusiasts get ready - our community’s favourite low-effort combat training method is now part of Slayer tasks! That’s right, the crab has scuttled its way onto the task lists for Mazchna, Vannaka, and Chaeldar. These tough-shelled training partners have long been a go-to for efficient combat experience, and this update should help newer players discover their benefits too.
If you receive a Crabs task, you can take on any of the following:
Ammonite Crabs: Located on Fossil Island and within the Wyvern Cave.
Frost Crabs: Found amidst the Ruins of Tapoyauik.
Rock Crabs: Reside north of Rellekka, on Waterbirth Island, west of Mount Quidamortem, inside the Waterbirth Island Dungeon, and within the Brine Rat Cavern.
Sand Crabs: Can be encountered on the Isle of Souls, Crabclaw Isle, east of the Hosidius Vinery, south of the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course, and along the coast south of the Fortis Coliseum.
Swamp Crabs: Dwell in the swamp north of Darkmeyer and to the east of Slepe.
Slayer Cape Perk at Konar
Your Slayer Cape has had a bit of a tune-up. Now, when its perk is triggered at Konar, it will reassign the task within the same area by considering the exact location of your current assignment. No more rerolls that leave you scratching your head – you’ll get the same monster and same location to keep that Slaying momentum going!
Who has time to navigate clunky dialogue boxes mid-battle? Not you! The Explorer’s Ring now lets you cast Alchemy simply by using items on it. This little tweak means you can transform your loot in a flash, freeing up inventory space for more treasures.
Farming Contracts
We all know Guildmaster Jane loves a good chat - but sometimes, you just want to get back to farming! That’s why we’ve added a new dialogue option that lets you grab another contract of the same tier instantly after finishing one. Less menu navigation, more time planting - your green thumb will thank you!
Ever forgotten a fairy ring code mid-route? We’ve all been there. Now, when you mouse over any fairy ring you’ve unlocked on the world map, its code will pop up. Neat!
Tithe Farm Reward – Seed Packs!
Your efforts at Tithe Farm just got a little sweeter! The Tithe Farm shop has been upgraded to use the new shop interface - don’t worry, you can still grab all the same rewards as before. Plus, we’ve added a brand-new seed pack reward, available for purchase with Tithe Points! This isn’t just any seed pack; it’s equivalent to a Tier 3 Farming Guild contract reward, with a dash of chance at a White Lily Seed.
New to Gielinor? No problem! When you step onto Tutorial Island, you’ll be asked if you’re a Beginner, Returning, or Experienced player. Based on your answer, your settings will automatically adjust to suit your style:
Beginners: Enjoy a fresh guide interface with enhanced skill descriptions – say goodbye to overwhelming menus and hello to easy learning!
Returning Players: Your tried-and-true settings remain just as you left them, ready for another round of adventure.
Experienced Players enjoy optimised defaults, such as:
Roof hiding for a clearer view
Shift-click to drop items
Refined attack options (right-click on players, left-click on NPCs),
Make-X for darts and bolts disabled
Collection log new addition popup and notification enabled
Enabled precise timing
PK Skull Prevention
Auto-equip worn items from gravestones
Rune-picking behaviour
Drop item warning disabled
Casting Alchemy Spells on Untradeable items warning disabled
The minimum item value needed for Alchemy spells warning is set to 0
All "Plank make X confirmation" options disabled
Accept Aid is disabled
This change cuts down the time spent tweaking settings, letting you jump straight into your adventures.
Shades of Morton chests
We’ve given Shades of Morton’s chests a makeover – now sporting clearer top markings so you can easily spot those secret loot stashes. This upgrade is especially handy for mobile players who know that spotting a chest shouldn’t feel like a scavenger hunt!
Ever wondered how much juice your prayers are really draining? Well, wonder no more! Prayer tooltips now display the base drain rates for all prayers, giving you that extra bit of insight during those heated battles.
Finally, we’ve improved our skill guides with a brand new tab for each skill. These summaries break down what each skill does and the benefits of levelling them up. Whether you’re a battle-hardened veteran or just starting out, this extra clarity will help you plan your path to glory.
Back in December, we shared a Player Support Survey: 'Help Shape the Future' to better understand what areas of our support offering you want to see improved. Your feedback was clear, with 89% of you saying you'd value receiving confirmation when your cheating reports lead to action.
We've got good news! We've delivered the first step of this improvement ahead of schedule! Rather than waiting until our full Player Support Improvements Roadmap reveal next month, we decided there's no reason to delay something that’s ready today.
From today onwards, whenever your macroing (botting) report has been reviewed and actioned, you'll receive an inbox message directly in your Message Centre. This is an initial rollout for macroing reports, and we'll be closely monitoring feedback as we look to expand this system to cover additional types of cheating reports in future.
This improvement is part of our ongoing commitment to making the world of Gielinor fairer, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone.
If you missed the recent Q&A with Mod North, you'll be pleased to know there’s even more to come! We’ll be sharing the full Player Support Improvements Roadmap in April, detailing further upgrades to your support experience across 2025.
Hold onto your Sleeping caps, adventurers - your favourite emotes are now on an endless loop! We’ve added 45 looping emote sequences to ensure every move you make is the envy of Gielinor. If you’re sporting Treasure Trails gear like the Flared Trousers, Sleeping Cap, Powdered Wig, or Pantaloons, your enhanced emotes now loop with extra swagger - it’s your very own runway moment!
Don't forget you only have a few days left to get your hands on the WOM and Gnome child figures - pre-orders have been extended to March 28th at 3pm EST on Youtooz - get them whilst you can!
Pre-orders close on March 31st for RF25 attendee exclusive lines - the RF25 Hoodie, Tee and Skillchip Box - order them now here if you missed out at the event!
Pre-orders also close on 31st March for this commemorative 10th RF Tee - open to anyone to order who wants to celebrate past RuneFests! Check out this and the full range of merch here.

Y’arr! The Sailing Alpha is now live! PSA: We've polished the Alpha as much as possible, but this is an Alpha, it's not a finished skill. If you encounter unfinished issues, you can use the in-game bug report form to let the team know what's wrong. We'll hotfix what we can, though larger fixes or feedback points will need to come via future builds. You can find the in-game bug report button on your chat box. It's a red report button and right-clicking it will show the report game bug option. You saw it at RuneFest – now’s your chance to try the Sailing Alpha at home!
Get ready to jump into a massive, open Sailing playtest packed with exciting high-seas adventure. Start off on a teeny tiny raft and improve your skill as a sailor until you eventually become an experienced captain - commanding a crew of your own and traversing the most hazardous of waters. On your journey you'll dive with mermaids, chase ducks and explore the far reaches of the ocean. Many roads lead to 99, but the path you choose is up to you.
Recently, players tried Sailing for the very first time in-person at RuneFest. It was incredible! The LAN area was packed throughout both days, making for an unforgettable experience. It was our first large scale playtest of the Alpha, and now it's time for an even BIGGER one!
Some of you still have questions or concerns about Sailing, and that’s exactly why the Sailing Alpha matters. It’s your chance to get hands-on and experience the skill for yourself. You already know how Sailing looks in blogs or videos, but we want to know how it feels when you're playing it. We make content for you, and we care about your feedback. Give it a chance and you might just find that you've discovered your new favourite skill!
The Alpha is expected to take approximately 75 minutes to complete, and it will be open for one week.
Let's start with an explanation of what is in the Alpha – check out this video made in collaboration with Gunschilli and GentleTractor!
https://youtu.be/nOa20hB0OO0?si=eiWu6vmrSGl7W0hu If you can't view the video above, click here.
Looking for help on what to do? Check out this infographic by Uber!
The Alpha is available on PC via RuneLite, Java or the Official C++ Client. Unfortunately, it won't be available on mobile. Any member's account can simply select a Sailing Alpha Playtest world from the world selection menu, and log in to begin testing. Once in the game, you'll quickly be taken to Port Sarim - an important starting location for all things Sailing.
As we're using Beta Worlds, there are two buttons under the Settings menu (Gameplay) tab that will be useful to know:
'Covert save to Beta Worlds': This works from regular worlds and will copy your save over to the beta worlds. You will retain your stats, with a couple potentially boosted if too low.
'Reset Beta Worlds Save': This works directly from Beta Worlds, and will allow you to reset your save so you can re-play the Alpha once you hit the Level cap of 30.
Once you're in, check out the bottom-left of your screen to view the Sailing Alpha FAQ, containing all the information you need to become a true sailor. There is also a survey linked directly in the FAQ interface. Please make sure to fill this out, as it's really important for us to learn where we can improve before the full launch.
Feedback
As we mentioned above, this is an Alpha build, not a finished product.
From RuneFest
We are already aware of two bugs:
If you get stuck on objects or land, use the ‘Reverse’ or ‘Escape’ manouevre by right-clicking the helm of your boat.
A bug in the Beta worlds caused boats to only move in one direction. This issue has now been fixed, but if it happens again, log into a different world to resolve it.
At RuneFest, players often mis-clicked their sails and caused their boat to stop unintentionally. Players would also sometimes stop their boats when they clicked the sails multiple times during the 'speed up' window of opportunity. Ideally, we want to have navigational parity, so that everything you can do in-game you can also do via the side panel. Due to the amount of mis-clicks that we saw, we've made un-setting the sails a right-click function instead. As a result of this change, reversing your sail can currently only be done via the side panel. You'll only need to reverse your sails when you get stuck, so it shouldn't happen often enough that you'll need it as an option on your sail. Additionally, the 'Trim sails' function will now only be a left click when the sails can be trimmed. This helps to avoid double-clicks which accidentally stop the boat. If you prefer 'set' or 'unset' sails to be a left-click option again, you can use the Menu Entry Swapper tool in RuneLite or the Official Client.
Additionally, some of the Sea Charting activities felt a little confusing as players didn't know for sure if they were in the right location. New visual indicators for the Current Duck and Spyglass locations have been added to resolve this. We've also expanded the range at which you can use the tools required, so it's a little easier. In particular, the weather station activity from the Troll Meterologist confused a fair amount of players, so we're planning on addressing that by adding in small miniquests to help introduce these activities in a familiar way.
Another issue we found at RuneFest was that players couldn't easily find Shipwrecks. To help with this, we've added new graphics to make them more visually distinct. We welcome feedback on how these look, or other areas that might need visual changes in the future.
Finally, we've adjusted some elements of the side panel to make it more intuitive. The arrows are up and down to show speed rather than left and right. They will also show visual feedback when you're at the max or slowest speed. In the future, we'd like to do more with the side panel, such as integrating the Captain's Log so that you're not forced to keep it in your Inventory.
How and where to leave your feedback on the Sailing Alpha
As mentioned above, the best place to start for bug reports will be the in-game report feature. You can find this on the chat box. It's a red report button and right-clicking it will show the report game bug option.
We encourage feedback from everyone on the Sailing Alpha. Throughout this week and next, we'll keep a close eye on feedback and address major points from the survey and other social platforms in a Sailing Discord Stage Q&A sometime next week.
To join the Sailing Discord, use this link. We'll even take player questions live! Many of you have questions or suggestions about future content being added to Sailing and we'll do our best to answer them.
During the Alpha, the team will review feedback and provide general thoughts on changes (or additional hotfixes) we expect to add. Check back here later in the day or week for any bugs or issues that you might encounter – we'll do our best to keep this blog regularly updated.
Please bear in mind that some changes simply can't be released via a hotfix. Although we'll be keen to patch issues that disrupt the Alpha severely, bigger feedback changes will have to come via a future Sailing Beta. You'll hear more about our plans for the Beta once the Alpha is complete.
Now, let's recap exactly what's included in the Sailing Alpha for those who might have missed our last blog.
Learn how to sail a boat, dock, and do more basic gameplay tasks with Pandemonium, an introductory quest for Sailing. You'll also explore the Pandemonium, a new island intended as the home port for your adventures on the high seas.
Start the Quest by speaking to Will and Anne, who can be found on the docks of Port Sarim.
Will and Anne are a pair of salvagers in need of an extra pair of hands on their mighty salvaging vessel. At least, that's how they'd describe it. The truth is a bit more complicated, but we'll let you discover that for yourself...
After completing the quest you’ll receive a Captain’s Log, which you can use to track Port Tasks and other details of life at sea. If you ever lose your Captain's Log, open the Cargo Hold and click (or right-click) the duck button to reclaim it.
Once you've completed Pandemonium, you'll get your very own Raft. At Level 10 Sailing, you'll be able to buy a Small Boat. In the future, you will unlock bigger boats at higher Sailing levels, however, only the Raft and Small Boat will be available for testing in the Alpha.
You can retrieve, buy and customise your boats by speaking to a Shipwright. A Shipwright can be found on most docks near the Salvaging Station – and you’ll meet one during the Pandemonium quest!
Once you’re on a boat, click the Helm to enter 'Navigation Mode', which will lock you in place.
To get your boat moving, set your sails by clicking them or using the side panel. Your boat will move forwards as long as your sails are set and you can adjust your direction clicking on the sea.
To stop your boat, you can click directly on the sails or use the side panel. You can also adjust your boat's speed through the side panel, if you wish. To move in reverse, use the lowest possible speed value on the side panel.
Every 30 seconds or so, you will notice a 10-second gust of wind around your sails. This is an opportunity to trim your sails for a nice speed boost and some Sailing XP. The animation will be obvious, so you should have no trouble spotting it! Let us know if you think we could make it even more visible.
If you have a wind-catcher facility installed, you can keep your speed boosts to use at a later time when you'd like to use it. If you don't have one, the speed boost will start instantly.
When you're ready to get off your boat, you can simply navigate your boat to a Port and left-click the gangplank to disembark. If you're picking up a friend at Port, you'll find that left-clicking the buoy will allow you to anchor your boat and wait for them.
If you get stuck during the Alpha without a way to reverse, or you need a fast way back to land, right-click your Helm to 'Escape'.
Since this is just the Alpha, we’re not expecting you to grind for upgrade materials, or even bring the tools you’ll need to build them.
Instead, you’ll be able to obtain all the resources and tools you could possibly need in a handy chest next to the board in the ship yard. When you’ve got the materials, have a word with Shipwright Sam to start customising!
To upgrade your Keel, Hull, Sail or Helm, you can use the Shipwright's customize-boat option.
To build a new facility on your boat, click on the gangplank at the shipyard to go over to your boat and build hotspots – if you’ve done a bit of Construction, this will seem very familiar! Just as in your Player-owned House, each hotspot has different options, so check them all carefully.
In the Sailing Alpha, buildable facilities include:
Bronze Salvaging Hook
Iron Salvaging Hook
Wind Catcher
This can be used to store wind charges you get from correctly trimming your sails and use them on command.
Cargo Hold
Oak Mast
Anchor
There are also buildable Cannons in the Sailing Alpha, although you won’t be able to use them as Ship Combat hasn’t yet been implemented.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer features are still early in development, but the Alpha does have something for you to try. You will be able to join your friends' boats and make use of their facilities as you sail together. Just make sure you have the right Sailing level, and you'll be able to sail and salvage shipwrecks while aboard your friends' boats!
We’ve also created a solution for having too many ships crowding your screen. The game will render up to 25 ships at one time, and a new shadow will appear beneath your boat to indicate when a fellow sailor is on top of you.
What good would Sailing be if you had no seas to sail on? We’re turning the existing blue tiles of the World Map into something extra special. Shallow, Open, and Deep Seas will be represented on the World Map and in-game. At this time, the changes are purely cosmetic and won’t affect your boat’s speed or ability to sail through them – with the notable exception of the hazardous waters you’ll encounter in Barracuda Trials. In future we plan to add speed-related effects to different types of water, but these will likely only impact larger boats.
Eagle-eyed explorers will notice that the coastline around Menaphos is no longer a big blank hole. While we have every intention of unveiling that great city one day, as the desert storylines progress, that'd be a bit much to bundle into the Sailing project! You'll be welcome to sail around the coastline at a distance, but you won't be able to dock there... for now...
In the final version of Sailing, you’ll be able to explore a vast ocean space filled with new areas to visit – but for now, we’ve blocked out a limited area of the sea for you to explore. Wouldn’t want you getting lost now, would we?
The Pandemonium is a great place to start your adventure, but you can also sail on over to The Great Conch, home of the Tortugans, although it won't be accessible in this playtest. You’ll want to keep an eye out for other points of interest at sea too, including:
Last Light
Charred Island
The Isle of Bones (Previously called 'The End Island')
Islands aren’t the main focus of the Sailing Alpha, so this is just a small taste of what they’ll eventually become. In the future, they’ll contain content for existing skills and feed into the reward space for Sailing. Once the Alpha has concluded, you can expect to hear more about all the fantastic places you’ll visit through Sailing, and of course, you’ll have the chance to vote for it all!
Port Tasks
Port Tasks are a lower-intensity training method that will have you Sailing from Port to Port, assisting NPCs with various problems.
Starting a Port Task is simple. Just head to the Notice Board available at most Ports. You'll start off with two slots, and as you level, you’ll gain more. In the Alpha, there are three Ports that you can take tasks from:
The Pandemonium
Port Sarim
Catherby
There are two more Ports that are also technically available, but since the Alpha is capped at Level 30, you won't have the required Sailing level to visit them.
Port Khazard
Ruins of Unkah
You can cancel Port Tasks in the Port Task interface, found in your Captain’s Log.
In our last blog, we mentioned that Port Tasks are repeatable and can change daily.
We designed them this way so that the Tasks would change frequently to keep things fresh, without changing so often that it became frustrating. The intended loop is to plan your route once a day, while the rest of your play session remained consistent.
However, you raised that this approach might limit your desire to play to certain days. We completely agree, and we're working on a new design for this - unfortunately it’s not ready for us to show you in this Alpha.
Shipwreck Salvaging
During your Sailing journey, you'll stumble across shipwrecks. Using a Salvaging Hook, you can retrieve valuable resources and lost treasures from them in a relaxed, laid-back training method.
Salvaging requires astonishingly little effort outside of the initial setup. It’s a great AFK activity while you’re watching TV… or that boring Zoom call. We won’t judge.
To salvage, simply navigate your boat close to a shipwreck. Make sure the sails are down, then exit the tiller and click your Salvaging Hook. There are two salvaging spots in the Alpha, to the east and west of Karamja. If you’re having trouble spotting them, check the World Map!
Salvage goes directly into your Inventory, but you can choose to store it in the Cargo Hold by right-clicking it. The basic Cargo Hold holds up to 20 items, but you can always upgrade it to get more room.
Most ports have their own Salvaging Station where you can sort your Salvage into loot.
Instead of a Light, Heavy and Advanced Hook as mentioned in our previous blogs, we've streamlined the design to now only offer one Salvaging Hook type that scales from Bronze to Dragon. In the Alpha you can upgrade it all the way to Iron!
Sea Charting
As you voyage across the seas of Gielinor, you’ll find plenty of memorable locations, hidden currents, ocean depths, weather patterns, and other phenomena you’ll want to note down in your Captain’s Log.
Sea Charting rewards your natural desire to explore and is the perfect training method for completionists.
We don’t want to spoil all the different things you can find at sea, but in the Alpha, you’ll be able to chart the following starter zone locations:
Bay of Sarim
Mudskipper Sound
The Firth of Lum
Bedabin Basin
Rimmington Strait
Here’s a big list of the items in question:
Captain's Log: To record and document sea charting. It will also tell you information about where you can chart.
Spyglass: Observe notable areas.
Current Duck: Quack – sorry, track - the currents of the sea.
Crowbar: Pry open crates found at sea and choose whether you want to drink what you find inside.
Upgraded Diving Apparatus/Helmet: Gather sea depth data after assisting mermaids.
Anti Rust Tonic: Removes rust from weather stations for the Troll Meteorologist.
Note that most tools will only become available after you’ve built a Cargo Hold, which is also where you’ll be storing them.
Complete the 'Prying Times' miniquest for more information about how to use the Crowbar. If you're not sure where to go, open up your Captain's Log and filter it by Sea Group, Superset or Level Requirement. Typically, you'll want to start with one area and chart it fully before moving onto the next.
During the NDA playtests, we noticed that some players found the tools unintuitive. In particular, the Troll Meteorologist tasks were the most challenging. Our biggest tip for you here is to remember that the Troll wants you to find the area where there is no wind, so when you're following the instructions, try to imagine a circular storm with an eye of no winds in the middle.
For the Sailing Alpha we’ve added ‘Inspect’ options to every tool, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on how you all get on. In future, we may look to tutorialise Sea Charting through additional miniquests. Please do let us know how it feels to play!
Barracuda Trial: The Tempor Tantrum
The Tempor Tantrum is our first Barracuda Trial, aimed at players with at least level 30 Sailing.
In the trial, you'll be Sailing around the rough seas of Tempoross Cove as you attempt to retrieve rum shipments and ferry them through the storms and back.
You can start by finding Trial Master Rum-Dashed Ralph, just north of the Cove. The aim of the trial will be to ferry rum shipments from the south of the cove to the north, while collecting as many 'lost supplies' floating in the water as you can along the way. You'll want to be fast to impress The Barracudas, so make sure you take advantage of everything at your disposal!
That includes utilising helpful speed boosts that come from sailing through the blue whirling rapids, or trimming your sails at just the right time. Do be careful to avoid hitting any rocks, though, and remember to dodge the storm clouds floating overhead – they’ll damage your ship and slow you down!
There won't be any rewards in the Sailing Alpha, but you can work your way up the ranks of Swordfish, Shark and Marlin by completing all their objectives in the given time. To get that top-tier Marlin rank, you'll need to sail extremely quickly and efficiently without missing a single lost shipment along the way. So, good luck! We’ve updated World 345, the permanent Deadman world! Introducing new charms, reimagined PvP mechanics, and the return of boss breaches.
Changelog March 12th
[expand type=show more]
Permanent Deadman W345 Updates
Added four new charms, obtained from killing NPCs at 200 combat level or higher:
Nimbleness Charm: Boosts Marks of Grace drops from one to five, lets you bypass Agility level requirement restrictions on shortcuts, and auto re-pickpockets NPCs.
Stockpiling Charm: Triples rewards from Wintertodt, Tempoross, and Guardians of the Rift, stacks Clue Scroll drops, and auto-Banks skilling resources.
Accumulation Charm: Triples Clue Scroll drops, Chinchompa captures, and skilling resources, and provides 5x Runecraft yields.
Vulnerability Charm: Increases Accuracy against monsters by 50%, multiplies Thrall Max Hits by 5, and cuts incoming monster damage by 25%.
Boss breaches now appear on weekends!
Both area and specific location breaches will occur, just as in Deadman Armageddon.
Up to 25 NPCs spawn in area breaches, and up to 6 NPCs spawn in specific location ones. They'll be dropping:
Ancient Warrior Weapons
Trinkets previously seen in Deadman: Armageddon
New charms (although you've mostly seen their effects in previous Deadman events)
Sigils and corrupted weapons remain off-limits.
If you have protection still, you will not be able to attack any breach NPCs, both in single and multi-combat zones.
Each breach monster drops one Chitin per kill with a 50% chance for a bonus supply drop instead.
Weekend breaches will occur every four hours, starting on Saturday at 02:00 GMT. The last breach will be on Sunday at 22:00 GMT.
You’ll get a timely notification in your chat when a breach goes live. You can also talk to Perdu to see where the breach is and how long it will be around for.
Combat brackets are now divided into Levels 3–75, 76–85, and 86+ with a 2x unique drop rate modifier for each bracket.
The PJ Timer now follows a last-hit system. Land that final blow to trigger an uninterrupted teleport, or risk having your escape cut off by a sneaky PKer.
When PKed, attackers now only grab 50% of your top 10 stackable items.
Added supply drop tables from Deadman: Armageddon.
Wilderness Slayer Tasks now yield both Tier 1 and Tier 5 Emblems.
Changes to Morrigan’s Javelin Special:
The bleed effect triggers every tick (down from every three ticks) with damage boosted from 5 to 10 per tick.
Total bleed equals 75% of your original hit (e.g. a 40-damage hit produces three bleed splats of 10 each).
Buffed Morrigan’s Thrownaxe: Now only consumes 25% special attack. A successful hit speeds up your next attack by 1 tick, making it a slick 3-tick attack on rapid.
Classic Content Returns:
Giant seaweed runs on Fossil Island are back!
Frog random events now stick around.
“Crack the Clue 3” can be completed.
Bounty Hunter Shop Additions:
Imbue Scroll: 1,000,000 points.
Castle Wars Halos: 500,000 points each.
Trouver Parchment: 250,000 points.
QoL changes:
Players can now receive regular loot from Revenants, though Emblem drops remain disabled.
For skulled players, an Emblem drop roll yields either Magic or Yew Seeds; unskulled players receive a Dragon Med Helm.
Players now receive double Dragon Bones and Superior Dragon Bones from Green and Black Dragons and Vorkath. Both Dragon Bones will be noted in the Wilderness if you've completed the Wilderness Elite Diary Tier.
Pest Control now awards 4x the points, and the Agility Pyramid now grants 30,000 coins instead of 10,000.
Blighted Overloads are now available in Permanent Deadman - craft them with Super Combat, Magic, and Ranging Potions, a Deadman Overload Chitin, and a dash of 83 Herblore.
Statius’s Warhammer now guarantees a hit on Tekton’s first Special Attack and doubles as a regular hammer for building chests in Chambers.
Players can no longer enter the Colosseum or create a private instance at the Hueycoatl while skulled.
Chat with Nigel at the Lumbridge graveyard or use a Deadman chest to toggle off Combat XP, or just Hitpoints XP individually, if you wish.
Other Changes
Fixed an issue where POH telescopes using the Civitas or Canifis wallkits would incorrectly display a message about the wall instead of showing incoming Shooting Stars. They will now function as intended, allowing stargazers to track Shooting Star landings properly.
The following items can now properly access charge configuration:
Crystal Halberd, Bow, and Shield: All three now share the same "Quantity" variable, and use Crystal charges, not coins.
Echo Venator Bow
Alchemist’s Amulet
Celestial Ring and Signet
Giantsoul Amulet
Pendant of Ates
Upon creating Emberlight, Scorching Bow, and Purging Staff from the Tormented Synapse, you will now receive the original 730 Smithing, Fletching, or Crafting XP for the first upgrade, followed by 73 XP every time after.
During a Hell-Rat Behemoth fight, you can now use Fish and Milk directly on your cat to support it, rather than having to pass them through the alcove's curtain.
Reanimated goblins can now drop the Champions' Challenge Scroll.
PvP Rota The PvP rota has moved to Period B:
560 - (UK) - PvP World
319 - (US) - Bounty Hunter World
579 - (US) - High-Risk PvP World
561 - (UK) - Free-to-Play PvP World
580 - (US) - LMS Competitive
World 390 (AUS) for LMS Competitive has been de-activated with this rota.
World 569 (AUS) for Bounty Hunter has been de-activated with this rota.
The PvP Arena is using '1 Def Pure' loadouts in Ranked Duels and Tournaments this week.
W45 Improvements
Greetings, Deadman fans! Today we’re bringing loads of improvements to the permanent Deadman world, including some of the additions you loved in Deadman: Armageddon.
Charming Changes
First up, we’re introducing four brand-new Charms that pack a serious punch - just don’t try to wear them, they’re strictly for your Inventory! If you fall in battle, two things will happen:
They turn into a small amount of coins for the PKer that killed you.
They shatter into glass, which goes to your gravestone so you can keep a little collection of all the Charms you’ve lost.
Boosts the number of Marks of Grace on the floor from one to five.
Lets you use any shortcut regardless of your Agility level, although item requirements still apply.
Allows you to automatically re-pickpocket NPCs until you no longer can do so - for example, if you hit your coin pouch limit.
The Stockpiling Charm
Triples your rewards from Wintertodt, Tempoross and Guardians of the Rift.
Stacks your Clue Scroll drops.
Sends resources gathered from Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, and Farming straight to your Bank.
Accumulation Charm
Triples Clue Scroll drop rates, Chinchompa captures, and resources from Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting and Farming.
Multiplies Runes produced during Runecrafting by five.
Vulnerability Charm
Boosts your Accuracy against monsters by 50% in all styles.
Multiplies Thrall Max Hits by five.
Reduces incoming damage from monsters by 25%.
Sounds cool, right? But you might be wondering, where can I get my hands on these awesome new items? Well, any NPC with 200+ combat has a chance to drop them, and you can also find them in boss breaches – what are those, again?
Boss Breaches
The legendary mechanic from Deadman: Armageddon is back, and here to stay!
Every weekend, one of two breaches will appear across Gielinor, offering a shot at Ancient Warrior Weapons and a brand-new set of Permanent Deadman uniques - we’re talking Vengeance, Fairies, and Undead trinkets, plus those snazzy new Charms. Just a heads up: while you’ll be raking in the loot, Sigils and Corrupted Weapons are still off the table, and these breaches are strictly a weekend-only show.
Up to 25 NPCs spawn in area breaches, whereas up to 6 NPCs spawn in specific location ones.
To help keep the breach chaos fair and square, we’ve made some balancing tweaks:
Breach Monster Attack Restrictions:
In the Permanent Deadman world, if you still have protection time remaining, you're in the no-attack zone! This means you can't attack anyone in multi or single areas, and breach monsters are off limits too.
Breach Loot Balancing:
Each breach monster now drops 1 Chitin per kill. There's a 50% chance to receive a second regular supply drop instead of a Chitin.
Breach spawns will occur only at the weekend and every 4 hours in Permanent Deadman, starting on Saturday at 02:00 GMT. The last breach will be Sunday at 22:00 GMT.
Plus, you'll get a timely alert in your chat box when a breach breaks out - so you never miss the action or the chance to cause a little chaos. You can also talk to Perdu to see where the breach is and for how long it will be around for.
On the PvP front, we’ve reworked the combat brackets and tweaked the PJ timer to make every encounter a heart-pounding race.
Combat Brackets:
Brackets are separated into levels 3-75, 76-85, and 86+. The reason for these specific brackets is to try offer build diversity. Once you reach those higher combat levels, there are only a few specific types of builds that dominate the others!
Each bracket now enjoys a 2x unique drop rate modifier, ensuring that whether you're just starting out or you're a battle-hardened veteran, drops are as sweet as a perfectly timed PK.
PJ Timer:
We’re now rolling with a last-hit system. Nail that final blow and your teleport will fire off without a hitch, giving you the perfect getaway.
Miss the decisive moment, and well… another clever PKer might just intercept your escape.
So, gear up, time your attacks like a well-oiled machine, and may your teleports always be spot-on!
Loot changes, Supply tables, and Emblem Drops
Here's the scoop on our latest risk/reward tweaks:
PK Loot key changes: When you get PKed, your attacker now only pockets 50% of your top 10 stackable items. The refreshed on-death UI makes it crystal clear - less loot-stealing means more chances to rebuild and get back out there!
Supply Drop Revival: We're bringing back the supply drop tables from Deadman: Armageddon. Yep, you have a chance to get some juicy rewards even if you're just killing a goblin in Lumbridge!
Balanced Emblem Drops: Wilderness Slayer Tasks now offer both Tier 1 and Tier 5 Emblems. The Tier 5 Emblems will still be offered when killing Breach NPCs, but this can be another passive way to obtain those coveted emblems which help maintain your supplies via the Emblem Trader at the Grand Exchange!
Morrigan's Javelin and Axes
Morrigan’s weaponry isn’t being left out of the fun - check out these wicked tweaks:
Javelin Special Attack:
Now triggers a bleed effect every tick instead of every three ticks.
Bleed damage is boosted from 5 to 10 per tick, so you’re doing some serious drip damage.
Total bleed now reflects 75% of your original hit (for example, a 40-damage hit yields three bleed splats of 10 each).
Thrownaxe Special Attack:
Nail a special attack hit with the Thrownaxe, and your next attack gets a 1-tick speed boost, effectively turning it into a 3-tick attack on rapid. Talk about keeping your foes on their toes.
Now only requires 25% special attack.
QoL and Content Resurrection
Now, we think it’s time to dust off some classic content and sprinkle in a few extra treats to keep your adventures as fresh as your most prized loot.
Giant seaweed runs on Fossil Island are back!
Frog random events will no longer hop off the radar on Deadman worlds.
“Crack the Clue 3” is completable across all Deadman worlds.
Players can now receive regular loot from Revenants (though Emblem drops remain disabled).
Combat level 200+ NPCs have a chance to drop any of the four available charms.
Chat with Nigel at the Lumbridge graveyard or use a Deadman Chest to toggle off Combat XP, or just Hitpoints XP individually if you wish.
We hope you enjoy these changes! Your feedback is essential, so get out there, test these improvements, and let us know. In the wild and unpredictable realm of Deadman, only the cunning and quick-witted survive. Good luck…

Remember the Charges QoL improvements from Game Jam V? They are now live in-game!
Changelog - March 5th
[expand type=show more]
Game Jam: Charges QoL Improvements
You can now work towards blessing or corruption by charging your Dizana's Quiver or Enhanced Crystal weapons and using them, similar to how the Arclight transforms into Emberlight.
Toggleable feature: You can now set certain items to withdraw from the bank automatically charged. What's more, you can set the desired amount of charges applied, so that each time you can just grab and go - provided you have the necessary items to charge it, of course!
Other Changes
Echo Ahrim's equipment will now respect placeholders, the same as non-ornamented Barrows items.
Fixed an issue where certain ornament kits, painted items, and upgrade attachments were not correctly unlocking in the Collection Log for Iron players.
Reanimated Giants now have a chance of dropping the Champions' Challenge scroll, since the giants who drop the ensouled head are mostly the same ones who could drop that scroll.

RuneFest 2025 is behind us, and what an event it was! We had an absolute blast celebrating our shared love for the game with 'Scapers from all over the world, whether in the arena or tuning in from home. With the team hard at work during the event, this week's update is small but mighty. Let’s dive in!
Game Jam: Charges QoL Improvements
Corruption
Finally free from the red prison but feeling like you can't use your Bow of Faerdhinen until you've corrupted it? If that sounds like you, this week's update has got you covered!
As of this game update, used charges now contribute to the corruption process. In other words, by charging your Dizana's Quiver or Enhanced Crystal weapons and using them, you'll make progress towards blessing or corruption - similar to how the Arclight transforms into Emberlight. Meaning you don't need to wait and accumulate a lump sum of charges to corrupt an item all at once, you can just use it, top it up and eventually it'll corrupt/bless itself - neat!
Gone are the days where you have to check your item's charges, or create room in your inventory to charge the item while your raid group is yelling at you! This week, we're introducing a feature where you can charge an item up to a specific number of charges automatically when withdrawn from the bank - provided you have the necessary items to charge it. This feature is toggleable, so you can keep doing what you're used to if you'd prefer. With this new behaviour, you'll be able to set your desired number of charges with a simple right-click. Note that the bankers can only charge items you'd be able to do in your inventory, they're not going to run all the way over to Ver Sinhaza to charge your Scythe of Vitur in a blood well, they're at work after all!
To view this setting, open the Bank Settings interface while your bank is open, then select the 'Bank item options' button.
With this enabled, you'll see a 'Configure-Charge' option when right-clicking on any eligible items inside your bank. Note that this moves a few options around due to some technical limitations, so you might have some muscle memory to re-learn if you'd rather not toggle this off.
Keep in mind, the toggle for 'Bank item options' only affects whether or not you can see the 'Configure-Charge' option. If you already have your charges configured, you can disable the 'Bank item options' setting and any items that are already configured will still withdraw with the correct number of charges. You'd have to re-enable the setting if you'd like to change the number of charges on an item though.
Alternatively, you can chat to Hofuthand at the Grand Exchange to set a global charge withdrawal threshold. Please note that this threshold applies to all items, whether you own them or not. For items that don't let you reclaim charges (e.g. Crystal Armour), you won't be able to get them back. Use this global change at your own risk. These warnings are also made clear in-game, just in case!
If you've watched the RuneFest 2025 livestream, you might have already heard of our collaboration with Beatstar, a mobile rhythm game. Music is undoubtedly one of the best parts about Old School RuneScape, and Amascut's Promise is truly a fan-favourite beat. This challenge is perfect for you to flex your clicking skills - will you be able to keep up with the beat? Download the app on Apple Store or Google Play to listen and tap along to this remix!

PoH Changes
Feeling house proud? It's time to dust off those hammers and give your humble above the glow-up it deserves. We've got a jam-packed update for your Player-Owned House this week, including some long-awaited QoL improvements, new styles, and more room for your rooms! Let's break it down.
Mounted Heads
“Heads up” trophy collectors, our J-Mods have cooked up a real treat for you this time! No longer must you suffer the indignity of tearing down an entire wall just to swap out your latest gruesome prize. With this update, you can now swap your mounted heads instantly, without needing to rebuild from scratch!
While in building mode, click the 'Trophies' option on your mounted display to open the new Mounted Trophies menu. Then click on the stuffed heads in your Inventory to mount them.
The stuffed head will be added to your trophies board, allowing you to instantly swap between them!
Once a head has been mounted in your collection, you can display it on any eligible trophy stand across your house, even in multiple halls at once. You can still mount additional copies of the stuffed head in the future for Construction XP.
Guests can now admire your entire trophy collection. Let's be honest, showing off is half the fun.
And yes, we've extended the feature to your Stuffed Fish display too. Why shouldn't you be able to switch between a big scary Shark and a nice peaceful Bass?
This even applies when you upgrade your display. While the usual level requirements for mounting heads remain unchanged, you can now swap your heads about freely if you have a higher-tier space built, but want to apply a lower-level trophy head.
Level 38 Construction: Teak Trophy Space unlocks Crawling Hand, Cockatrice, and Basilisk.
Level 58 Construction: Mahogany Trophy Space displays Kurask, Abyssal Demon, and the classics above.
Level 78 Construction: Gilded Trophy Space shows off King Black Dragon and Kalphite Queen, plus everything before.
Level 82 Construction: Gilded Trophy Space now adds Vorkath and Alchemical Hydra, along with all the other grisly trophies.
This update is all about convenience, letting you refresh your display in seconds while keeping your prized trophies exactly where they belong. So get out there and start swapping those heads around!
New House Styles Available!
Tired of your Player-Owned House looking like every other building in the pocket dimension? We’ve got you covered with some brand-new house styles! Swing by yourlocal Estate Agent to check out these fresh new themes.
The Canifis Style is perfect for hosting house parties under the full moon and comes with a dank swampy aesthetic. A-wooooo!
If you prefer a brighter, greener vibe, look no further than the Civitas Style. This truly ‘classic’ look is a perfect fit for those looking to party with the Pericans.
As part of our ongoing visual refresh, we've also spruced up several animations to make furniture interactions smoother and more immersive. We showcased some of these in our previous blog, but here’s a refresher:
Sitting Animations
Both regular sitting and throne sitting have received a fresh animation update, making you look even more impressive as you take your rightful place on the throne!
Stepping into battle? The entry and exit animations for the Combat Ring have been reworked, making your grand entrances (and dramatic exits) better than ever.
Ever wished you could expand your mansion, but pesky room limits held you back? No longer! The room capacity has expanded! You'll now get up to four more rooms than before, depending on your Construction level. As before, your room cap increases every six levels, across most of the skill. Check out the image below to see just how many rooms you can now build!
Finally, just in case you needed more excuses to get your house in order:
The Bookcase is now alphabetized and fits onto a single menu page.
The Beaver pet's dialogue in the Menagerie now functions correctly for all recoloured variants.
That’s all for this round of Player-owned House improvements! Whether you're a master builder or just someone who enjoys a good spinning globe, we hope these changes make your home cooler and more convenient. As always, let us know what you think!
Royal Titans Ranged Defence
We see you, DPS calculator divas. Some of you have been diving deep into the mines of the sacred Wiki, trying to figure out what exactly is going on with Royal Titans' Ranged Defence when they start moving away from melee range. So, before the tinfoil hats come out in full force, let’s break it down:
The moment a Royal Titan starts retreating from Melee range, it becomes far more vulnerable to Ranged attacks.
While it's in this state, your Ranged Accuracy gets a whopping 500% boost - meaning your hits are going to land much more reliably.
This effect lasts until the Titan turns around to re-engage in Melee combat, so keep those arrows flying while you have the advantage!
The Accuracy buff also applies during the charge-up pulse attack in Stage 3, covering both the charging phase and the attack itself.
Hopefully this clears up any confusion!

Royal Titans Combat Achievements & Birthday Rewards | February 18th
Royal Titans Combat Achievements & 12th Birthday Rewards are here!
Changelog - February 18th
[expand type=show more]
Royal Titans Combat Achievements
Royal Titans Combat Achievements are here! Take on a new set of Easy to Elite tasks, including speed challenges, perfect kills, and teamwork feats to test your skills.
Already ahead of the game? If you've met the requirements, your Kill Count and Speed Achievements will auto-complete as soon as you open the CA interface!
Royal Titans Changes
The HP threshold for joining an ongoing Royal Titans fight has been lowered from 510 to 450, allowing you to enter at a slightly later stage.
Added a "Quick-start" option when right-clicking the entrance at the Royal Titans to directly create a fight.
The Twinflame staff will now grant a reduction of 1 action delay when finishing off a Royal Titan minion with the echo hit from a bolt/blast/wave spell. This behaviour already exists for all other weapons/spells when you kill a Royal Titan minion.
Royal Titans Drop Rates
If solo, Branda and Eldric will drop Prayer Scrolls and Twinflame staff pieces at a rate of 1 in 75. The Giantsoul amulet drops at a rate of 1 in 16.
In a duo, assuming both players contribute exactly 50% of the damage to each of the titans, the Prayer Scrolls and Twinflame staff pieces drop at a rate of 1 in 150. The Giantsoul amulet drops at a rate of 1 in 32. This means that if you're killing the Titans twice as fast in a duo and doing exactly 50% of the damage, your time to obtain uniques is exactly the same. Since duos tend to be more than twice as fast, you should always obtain uniques faster if you're pairing up with another player.
Regular loot quantities and unique drop rates are based on your individual contribution. If you're a mid-level account duoing with a maxed-out Scythe/Torva user, your chances to see uniques in your name will feel lower.
There's no MVP system at play, so both players can obtain uniques and pets on the same kill. The pet rate is 1 in 3,000, or 1 in 1,500 when sacrificing, neither of these rates scale with contribution.
Hard Clue Scrolls drop at a rate of 1 in 25, whereas Elite Clue Scrolls 1 in 100. Contribution doesn't matter for these.
OSRS 12th Birthday Rewards
Head to the Party Room and chat with Deviled Dave to claim your classic Imp outfit.
Once you've collected this year's reward, you'll also unlock the ability to reclaim any past birthday rewards you may have missed by speaking with Party Pete.
Alternatively, you can unlock this feature through the rewards table - but remember, you'll still need to talk to Deviled Dave if you want to receive this year's rewards.
If your account is too new to claim tradeable rewards you’ll be able to reclaim them from the reward table once you've accrued enough playtime.
Client and Mobile Updates
Fixed an issue where hotkeys were displaying incorrectly on some devices and could not be opened
Other Changes
Clans can now track the 'last seen' dates of their members of all ranks, rather than only those who are administrators or above. As this tracking can now affect considerably more people than before, a new option in the Settings menu will give you the choice to stop your 'last seen' date from updating each day, in case you would prefer your clan not to know you've been active.
Fixed a bug where items with Trailblazer Tool kits could not be equipped from the bank menu if using the Trailblazer Reloaded style.
The Magic Guild portals have been updated to remove non-functional extra options, and to clarify what they do.
We've fixed an issue where viewing another player's Collection Log in their Player-Owned House could incorrectly update your Collection Log hiscores to reflect their progress instead of your own. Your hiscores will now always display your personal Collection Log progress as intended.

We've also made a few tweaks from last week based on your feedback:

Added a "Quick-start" option when right-clicking the entrance at the Royal Titans to directly create a fight.
The Twinflame staff will now grant a reduction of 1 action delay when finishing off a Royal Titan minion with the echo hit from a bolt/blast/wave spell. This behaviour already exists for all other weapons/spells when you kill a Royal Titan minion.

If solo, Branda and Eldric will drop Prayer Scrolls and Twinflame staff pieces at a rate of 1 in 75. The Giantsoul amulet drops at a rate of 1 in 16.

You can also unlock this through the rewards table - but you'll still need to chat with Dave if you want to claim this year’s goodies.
Newer to the game? No worries! If your account is too fresh to claim the tradeable rewards, you’ll be able to reclaim them from the rewards table once you’ve put in enough playtime.
And what’s a birthday without cake? Grab a slice of birthday cake to heal 3 HP – it even matches the colour of the cake! Don’t forget the party snacks on the tables; click to grab a bite and heal 3 HP. But be warned: if you try to grab too many snacks at once, you’ll get a fun little reminder to pace yourself.
Don’t miss out on the fun – grab your imp costume, chow down on some snacks, and reclaim your past rewards today! We’ll see you in Falador - just don’t eat all the cake at once!

Players must either defend their J-Mod or take down the enemy’s, all while navigating the mayhem of Castle Wars. J-Mods won’t be able to run, but their HP will be buffed to the nines, making them incredibly tough to take down - so expect absolute chaos on the battlefield!

Client and Mobile Updates
Fixed an issue where hotkeys were displaying incorrectly on some devices and could not be opened.

Royal Titans Feedback & 12th Birthday Celebrations | February 12th
This week we’re gathering your feedback on the Royal Titans and preparing for an unforgettable Birthday livestream!
Changelog February 12th
[expand type=show more]
Royal Titans Changes
Players can now exchange Giantsoul Amulets with the Odd Old Man for 30 Big Bones each.
World 567 is now the suggested Royal Titans world.
The enrage slam animation is no longer delayed by a tick on certain occasions.
Fixed a bug where a Titan’s body disappeared upon death, its base persisted after respawning, and ice remained in the arena for the next fight.
The Prayer filter will no longer show older Prayer icons after they are upgraded.
Teleporting out of the Royal Titans boss arena will now nullify any incoming damage to prevent death.
Tagged minion hitboxes have been scaled down and no longer take up so much space.
On sacrifice, if a player doesn't receive the pet, a message will appear in the chatbox to say: "You don't feel lucky during your sacrifice".
Client and Mobile Updates
The HiScores panel now remembers the previously searched data set.
Failed HiScore searching now displays new UI and text within the search bar.
Added a new toggle which allows chat filters to always show, even when chat is collapsed.
The HiScores popout panel will now auto-open when the player uses the in-world lookup feature.
Mobile users can now hide split private chat when the chatbox is closed.
The Barrows Interface no longer gets stuck behind the Minimap interface.
Adjusted the deadzones around the chatbox and the left side on the mobile client.
Menus now appear in front of Minimap orbs, and important functions like the close button won't be blocked when they overlap.
Certain hotkeys with a corresponding checkbox or toggle in the Settings menu now correctly sync to the correct state.
The loot tracker no longer shows incorrect truncated numbers on the enhanced client.
When using the hotkey side panel, the buff bar now dodges as it would if the player used the right-side stones.
Poll 83 Improvements
Players can now "Reset" birdhouses, allowing you to dismantle an existing birdhouse and automatically build and place a new one. The clockwork mechanism from the previous birdhouse is reused.
Players can now build and place a birdhouse directly on an empty patch with a single click, provided they have all the necessary tools and materials.
Both of the above changes will use pre-made birdhouses you carry with you before attempting to make one out of bits.
Net traps used to catch Salamanders can now be reset automatically.
Players can now trade in duplicate Hunter Guild uniques with Verity in exchange for a reroll on the Master Sack loot table (excluding uniques and the pet).
Eligible items include: Enhanced Quetzal Whistle Blueprint, Perfected Quetzal Whistle Blueprint, Huntsman's Kit, or any of the four Guild Hunter gear pieces.
When using the Alchemy spell on the Explorer’s Ring, Runes will now be used from your Inventory before consuming the Ring’s daily charges. If no Runes are available, the Explorer’s Ring will automatically provide the necessary charges to cast the spell.
Enchant Jewellery will now convert the first jewellery in the Inventory, rather than the specific jewellery it was cast on.
Other Changes
The Pendant of the Ates now includes all minimenu teleport sub-options
Camera shake effects for the following events can now be toggled on or off in the settings: Baba Yaga's house, Fishing Trawler, Looted Barrows chests, Lizardman Shaman jumps, Great Olm's falling crystals, Falling rocks in the Monkey Madness tunnels.
Note: If you turn the camera shake off in the Monkey Madness tunnels, you will still be warned of impending crushing doom by a shadow briefly appearing under your character before rocks fall, providing a clearer visual cue for incoming damage.
Reviewed and corrected recolouring inconsistencies across the game. As a result, some NPCs and locations have received slight visual adjustments. Most notably, the Blessed Sickle is brighter than before, making it easier to distinguish from its non-blessed variant.
Fixed a bug that occurred when switching out a Draynor Manor teleport from a teak portal.
Fixed a bug where Verac's set effect was ignoring damage immunity checks.
You can no longer accidentally get repeat Jad or Zuk tasks by cancelling them through teleport.
Rewrote the text that appears in your Bank's potion storage when it's empty, aiming to make it a bit clearer.
The Grouping interface now correctly recognizes when a player has joined the Mage Training Arena chat channel.

560 - (UK) - PvP World
319 - (US) - Bounty Hunter World
579 - (US) - High-Risk PvP World

580 - (US) - LMS Competitive
World 390 (AUS) for LMS Competitive has been de-activated with this rota.

The PvP Arena is using 'Zerker' loadouts in Ranked Duels and Tournaments this week.
Royal Titans: A Titanic Success!
Well, well, well… looks like you lot can’t get enough of fighting massive, furious, elemental juggernauts. Who would've thought?
It’s been awesome seeing players gather at the entrance, teaming up, and working out strategies before diving into battle. Newer players are getting the hang of gear switching and mechanics, while the PvM veterans are pushing the fight to its limits with optimizations we didn’t even expect. One of our biggest goals with this boss was to ease players into gear switching by making it a core part of the encounter - dodging fire and ice, handling minions, and keeping up with changing threats. From what we’re seeing, mission accomplished!
The Royal Titans fill an important PvM space in the mid-game. Players usually start their PvM journey with Scurrius, Barrows, and Fire Cape attempts before moving into more complex content. The Titans sit comfortably in that progression, helping bridge the gap before stepping into fights like Zulrah. Learning gear-switching and movement mechanics here will set you up nicely for tougher encounters like Raids.
A lot of the mechanics were inspired directly by the community, including the addition of Desiccated Pages, which have been a big hit. You've also enjoyed the new Prayer Scrolls, which are particularly popular among Iron players attempting the Corrupted Gauntlet.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
As the dust settles, we’ve taken the time to make some changes based on your feedback:
There are some other points of feedback we’d like to address today.
Minion Attack Delay Adjustments Right now, when minions are killed, the Titans’ attack delay is reduced - one tick per minion. If all three are taken out at once, the next attack happens three ticks sooner. Some players have suggested removing this delay entirely, but we feel that could be a bit too strong. For now, we’re happy, but we’re keeping an eye on it.
Looting Mechanics Soloing the fight? You’ll still only get one set of loot. If you're taking the titans down as a pair, your regular loot and unique chances will scale depending on your damage contribution. This boss was designed with duo play in mind, and we wanted to take a key learning from Scurrius by calculating pet rolls without taking contribution into account. In short, the more Titans you take down, the better your odds of getting the pet!
Entry Restrictions Once the Titans’ HP drops below 85%, no new players can enter the fight. This prevents issues with reward distribution, protects GIM prestige, and ensures future Combat Achievement balance, but it is something we'll continue to think about.
Grouping System No official grouping system is planned, but we’ve allocated four Royal Titans worlds and updated the grouping Clan Chat world to make finding a partner easier. And if all else fails, there’s always the community Discord!
Future Use for Giantsoul Amulets? Many of you have asked if extra Giantsoul Amulets will have another purpose. Well, we know an NPC who knows a thing or two about bones... and the Odd Old Man is always interested in a good trade!
The Royal Titans have brought a fresh and engaging mid-level PvM experience to Old School RuneScape, and we’ve loved seeing players take on the challenge. We’ll continue monitoring feedback and making adjustments where needed, but for now, keep the discussions going, keep refining your strategies, and most importantly - keep taking on the Titans!
The Big 1-2! A Livestream Birthday Bash to Behold…
Old School RuneScape is turning 12 this month! While the in-game event arrives next week, we’re kicking off the festivities early with some chaotic, nostalgic, and maybe even cake-fueled activities. Join us on February 20th from 16:30 to 18:00 GMT over on the OldSchoolRS Twitch channel for a celebratory livestream!
J-Mod Castle Wars: Ultimate Escort Edition
We’re taking your classic Castle Wars experience and turning it into something truly chaotic. Two J-Mods will battle it out in a special Castle Wars game mode, with Mods Kieren and Rice acting as your team’s not-so-subtle secret weapons. They’re walking, talking, tanky targets!
Here's the breakdown:
At the start of the game, the enemy J-Mod will yeet themselves (technical term) directly into your base to steal your flag. Rude.
But these ain't no ordinary J-Mods... Their HP will be buffed to the nines and they'll be tankier than a full Justiciar enjoyer at the Inferno, so don’t expect them to be an easy takedown.
Your mission? Defend your base by preventing the enemy J-Mod from escaping, or race to the rescue and escort your J-Mod home safely!
J-Mod Rules:
J-Mods must walk only - no running allowed!
J-Mods can only start moving at the 18-minute mark, giving you and your team time to build up a strategic defence.
J-Mods can attack you back, including Chins and Barrage! So watch your back and be ready with those protection Prayers.
J-Mods will pick their gear before the match starts - so no sneaky swaps mid-game.
Underground tunnels are off-limits to J-Mods… unless they want to be obliterated by falling rocks.
Bake Off: Gielinor Edition
Got a sweet tooth and a love for all things OSRS? Bake an OSRS-Themed Birthday Cake for our competition and be in with a chance to win some amazing prizes! You’ve got until February 17th to put on your Cooking Gauntlets and whip up a cake worthy of the gods (or at least one that won’t get insta-binned by the Lumbridge Cook).
When? February 10th (09:00 GMT) to February 17th (21:00 GMT)
Submit your culinary creations to the #birthday-cakes channel on Discord or post them on Reddit.
The top three cakes will be shown on stream, and Twitch chat will pick the ultimate winner!
Mods Jerv (Concept Artist) and Skylark (Character Artist) have been ink-spired by your #tattoo-suggestions on Discord and have been hard at work sketching up some OSRS-themed masterpieces. What did they come up with? A majestic Saradomin eagle? A full-back tattoo of the Wise Old Man’s luscious beard? Tune in to find out!
And lastly, don’t forget to drop your nostalgic RuneScape memories in the #12-yrs-of-memories channel on Discord! Whether it’s your first 99, that unforgettable PKing moment, or the time you spent three hours lost in the Brimhaven Dungeon (we’ve all been there), we’d love to see them!
It’s time to party like it’s 2013 - see you there!

Royal Titans
The Royal Titans are here! Grab a friend and go toe-to-toe with these gigantic foes, or else their elemental influence could engulf all of Gielinor. Alternatively, if you've got a bit of a hero streak, leave the friend at home and go it alone - but know that Branda and Eldric won't go easy on you!
The Royal Titans is a dual-boss encounter where you'll be tasked with taking on Branda, Queen of Fire and Eldric, King of Frost. Branda is expanding her empire of flame from beneath the Karamjan volcano, but she's on a collision course with Eldric's icy throne. To take them on, you'll want to head to the north-west of the Asgarnia Ice Dungeon and use the small cave next to the giant throne of ice (you can't miss it). Agile players can also use a shortcut just west of the entrance ladder to get there in a pinch.
Get up close to the Royal Titans in this wonderful video, put together by the equally wonderful OnlyTrails!
https://youtu.be/I_Nk-JT5C6w?si=WA8uE7HcnyfTRERl If you can’t see the video above, click here!
By the way, we’d love to hear your feedback about this style of video. Since the Royal Titans is designed to be a ‘teaching’ boss encounter, we felt comfortable showing off more of the gameplay than we usually would. Are we striking the right balance, or oversharing? Let us know!
This encounter should get you more familiar with gear switching. Rapidly switching between combat styles is a component of many endgame encounters and can feel daunting to learn, so we're building on the success of updates like Scurrius and Perilous Moons to introduce players to another important part of your PvM toolkit.
Having said that, this fight is a definite step up from the likes of Scurrius, so we'd 70+ combat and suitable gear for all three styles, such as the Perilous Moons gear, Black Dragonhide, Mystic Robes, and Abyssal Whip, a Rune Crossbow… or whatever else you’re comfortable with!
Here’s how you can use each combat style against the Titans:
Melee: your bread and butter. Both Branda and Eldric are weak to Melee, so whenever you have the chance to get up close and personal, you should take it.
Ranged: your time saver. Occasionally, the Titans will step out of Melee range or be inaccessible. You can of course wait them out, but you'd be better off bringing a Ranged switch (even if it's only a weapon and nothing else) to speed up those kills.
Magic: your control. Throughout the fight, you'll be bombarded with walls of flame, pillars of ice, and nasty minions matching the Titans' elements. You'll need Magic to manage the arena and keep on top of minions. Elemental Weaknesses come into play here, so make sure to bring the right runes for the job…
You’ll be switching like a pro in no time, and soon you’ll be able to tackle more challenging content like Zulrah, Nex, the Phantom Muspah, or even Raids!
In the arena, you’ll be able to join a friend’s instance in much the same way as you’d enter their Player-Owned House. Right-click the entrance cave, select ‘Join a fight’ and enter your friend’s character name. Afterwards, you’ll be able to click on the last name you entered, but you’ll be able to do multiple kills in one trip.
Note though that no more than two people can take on the Titans at once.
Royal Titans Rewards
The Royal Titans have more unique rewards than regular loot, and they’re geared towards the player levels we’re targeting. This means they’re unlikely to be significant moneymakers, but the regular loot will certainly stack up as your kill times improve!
Importantly, you can only loot from one of the Titans per trip. If you’re in a duo, you and your friend can loot the same Titan, or different ones.
Twinflame Staff
The Twinflame Staff is a tradeable, one-handed staff. It’s made from a regular battlestaff and two unique components dropped by Eldric and Branda, respectively. Every piece is tradeable.
If your target has an Elemental Weakness, the Twinflame Staff will automatically select the element that they're weak to and let you cast the appropriate spell without navigating your spellbook. The keen-eyed among you may notice that this will be especially useful when fighting the Royal Titans themselves!
More interestingly, this staff is a slow, heavy hitter, firing off spells every 6 ticks (3.6 seconds) instead of the usual 5 ticks (3 seconds). To compensate, we've given it an echo effect where any Bolt, Blast or Wave spell that you cast instead fires off two projectiles. The first hit rolls from 0 to 100% of your maximum hit, as you'd expect. The second hit lands a tick (0.6 seconds) after the first and deals 40% of the first hit's damage, rounded down. This slower attack speed gives the Twinflame Staff a weightyfeeling, while resulting in less lost DPS if you happen to miss a tick or two.
This weapon shines against foes with Elemental Weaknesses, especially if you don’t have a Harmonised Nightmare Staff. When you’re done with the Titans, you might like to take it to Zulrah…
Deadeye Prayer Scroll
Up next is the first of two untradeable Prayer scrolls. Looting Eldric will give you a shot at obtaining the Deadeye Prayer Scroll, which can be used to unlock Deadeye, a new Ranged prayer that overrides Eagle Eye and serves as a bridge between Eagle Eye and Rigour. Deadeye requires Level 62 Prayer, and while active will provide +18% Ranged Attack, +18% Ranged Strength and +5% Defence. You can use this alongside Steel Skin if you're in need of extra Defence, and the table below shows how it stacks up against other Ranged Prayers:

Prayer(s) Ranged Attack % Ranged Strength % Defence % Prayer Requirement Drain rate Account progression unlock timing

Hawk Eye + Rock Skin 10 10 10 26 1 point per 3 seconds Very early game

Eagle Eye 15 15 0 44 1 point per 3 seconds Early game

Eagle Eye + Steel Skin 15 15 0 + 15 44 1 point per 1.5 seconds Early game

Deadeye 18 18 5 62 1 point per 3 seconds Mid game

Deadeye + Steel Skin 18 18 5 + 15 62 1 point per 1.5 seconds Mid game

Rigour 20 23 25 74 1 point per 1.5 seconds Late game

Mystic Vigour Prayer Scroll
By looting Branda, you'll gain a chance to obtain the untradeable Mystic Vigour Prayer Scroll, which you can use to unlock Mystic Vigour. Mystic Vigour overrides Mystic Might and bridges the gap between Mystic Might and Augury. You'll need Level 63 Prayer to activate Mystic Vigour, and while active you'll gain +18% Magic Attack, +3% Magic Damage and +5% Defence. Just like Deadeye, this can be used alongside Steel Skin. Here's another table to show you how Mystic Vigour stacks up:

Giantsoul Amulet
If you thirst for more giant blood, the Giantsoul Amulet will be a welcome pickup!
This untradeable teleportation amulet can be obtained from both of the Royal Titans. When charged with Big Bones and Law Runes, you can use it to teleport to the Royal Titans’ arena, Obor’s lair, or Bryophyta’s lair. No beanstalk required!
Desiccated Pages
Desiccated Pages are magically imbued pages that have sadly crumbled to dust. Don’t worry though – you can recycle them into Burnt, Soaked, or Soiled Pages instead.
These uncommon, untradeable drops can be obtained from either Titan. If you’re a proper page fan, you can also use the ‘Take Pages’ option to sacrifice any other loot (excluding the pet) and guarantee a bundle of ‘em.
In short, this is a combat-focused way to target-farm Pages. That also means that you can get a bit Tome-happy during the fight, or whenever you’re using your new Twinflame Staff.
To transform your Desiccated Pages, take them to the new plinths in Arceuus, the Ruins of Unkah, and south of Quetzacalli Gorge. You'll need level 50 Runecraft to convert your pages, and you’ll receive a spot of Runecraft XP in the process.
Pet
The Royal Titans have a pet! We’ll let you discover what it looks like for yourselves.
Just like with Araxxor, you’ll be able to forego all loot and double your chances to obtain the pet by using the ‘Sacrifice’ option on either one of the Titans once they’ve been subdued.
Sum Up
To summarize:
Head to the north-western portion of the Asgarnia Ice Dungeon to take on the Royal Titans.
Don’t forget to bring a friend!
Bring decent gear in all three Combat styles and be prepared to switch between them throughout the fight. Branda and Eldric aren't exactly pushovers, so we'd advise at least 70+ in your Combat stats and gear to match.
Take on the Titans.
Score sick loot like a brand-new Elemental Weakness-focused staff, untradeable Prayers to aid you ahead of unlocking Rigour and Augury, handy teleportation options, pages for your elemental Tomes and a cute pet to show off to your pals!
Repeat!
In case you want to team up, we've set up some worlds with the Activity 'Royal Titans'!
USE = 573
USW = 324
EU = 328
UK = 567
We'll see you in Asgarnia. Until then, stay frosty!
