Lag Compensation


Hit registry has been overwhelmingly improved even on high latency situations, give it a try! feels like a whole new game!

The community and i felt compelled to push this to main asap so here it is.

Fullscreen Mirror


Pavlov now renders without the black bars, very helpful for those who like to make videos!

Update 8 - Loading issue, balancing & bug fixes

Loading issue


Although i've tried so hard to nail it down i've been unsuccessful to fix it as of yet. Please help me gather data in order to figure out a hardware correlation over here

- Fixed bomb not planting if arming right on the spot
- Fixed round winning condition in S&D

New weapons




Aside from that there's a new rifle too.

Sprinting


You can now sprint; with bare hands and pressing your touchpad while moving forward, it might be a little tricky at first but give it a try!

Update 6 - Multiplayer Lobby, Room Scale and Oculus Support

Hello!


Multiplayer Lobby


Now you'll be able to pick the game mode, pick sides or/and just wait for more people to play with.

It's important to note that you are able (and it's encouraged) to create or join a lobby while playing offline with bots.

Known bug, game slows down while in a lobby, to fix it just restart steam, i'm figuring out together with other developers the root cause of it.

Local Hosting


Although i'm committed to provide the best experience possible with dedicated servers, there's times like this (alpha state) that are helpful, take it with a grain of salt.

Be aware that you need to open port 7777 UDP in your router, game will try to do it with upnp but is not guaranteed to work for everyone.

Dedicated servers will be available 24/7 starting on Feb 27.

Room Scale


Yep, habemus room scale locomotion. Any feedback about it is appreciated it

Oculus


Oculus support is very basic and i'm unsure if i will fully support it for EA release, i need the hardware to do anything else at this moment.

In the mean time, there's snap turning (MENU on dominant hand) as air grabbing and the grip now functions as expected.

Now they're more standardized and it should be more familiar if you've played other shooters. See patch notes for details

Search & Destroy


Yep fully featured competitive game mode for those that just gunning around isn't enough. With this addition the map has been expanded and AI has been improved.

Update 4 - Knives and grenades!

Hello guys!

Knives and grenades


Basic implementation but so much fun already, the controls are pretty straight forward, remove the pin and throw, you can also release the safety lever with the grip to cook it!

Knives can be thrown by releasing the trigger (will change in the future to throwing/stab mode)

Voice Chat


Voice chat has been refactored from the ground up and it will not longer cause lag

Weapon Tweaks


There was alot of feedback regarding the amount of recoil weapon had so both recoil and spray pattern has been tweaked and improved. Give it a try!

Update 3 - Dynamic Recoil, New Weapons & Siege Preview

Hello!

I have an interesting update for you all

Dynamic Recoil


This new recoil system adds the force of each bullet being fired and computes the recoil angle and offset in real time, the result is a very smooth and progressive recoil that is a joy to play with.

New Weapons & Bolt Release Mechanic


With the new addition, a handgun and a very popular assault rifle, a mag and bolt release mechanic has been added. Tap the grip to use it (it's contextual)

Siege Preview


The map has been expanded and AI has been refactored to what is gonna be Pavlov's signature game mode, im very excited to see my vision come true, this exactly what i wanted to make and it's not even finished yet! Let me know what are your thoughts on this.

AI


Ai has been reworked from the ground up (is a wip), bots now take cover and advance according to its objective, i had alot of fun testing this and i hope you guys do also. Even better AI is coming in the siege update next month.

Gun Mount (noobtube) Friendly Mode


Based on feedback i've added a setting to make the handling friendly for gun mounts, mimicking what other games do basically. Let me know if this does the job.
