It doesn't matter if it's fan-art, merchadise or video clip. We encourage you to get creative. Monetization is alright as long as you gave us a proper copyright claims. It seems that some of you have been worrying about legal issues. This should clear any doubt you might have and help you create legit fan works of Project Nimbus.
In short, we own the copyright of Project Nimbus universe. But you own the copyright of the work you create.
We will eagerly wait and see what your inspiration can do. :)
New update "Kongou"! Mission 15 – "Tenshi no Saigo" – is here!
Hello! We apologize for our late announcement, because during last night, Mission 15 “Tenshi no Saigo” just went live!
This update marks an important plot point in the storyline, and we took quite a long time to make it worthy of Act 2 ending. We're not going to put any spoiler here aside from the fact that one warship from our KickStarter backer will show up. It is a long mission, and we hope you will enjoy it.
First thing you will see is that we've changed the main menu! The one we have been using up to this point was a placeholder. (Right now there are even more BattleFrames that wasn't put on display inside the old hangar.) The rework has been a long time coming, and we thought this is a good opportunity to fix that.
For those who have trouble with laser sword on GCTX-01 Mirai, we solved a certain bug that plagued the BattleFrame since we adjust Mirai's animation some time ago. Now it should register a hit more often. We're still on a lookout for any remaining issue regarding the laser sword. If you feel something was off, don't hesitate to send us your feedback.
Also, the Railgun on GCTX-01 now fire twice the rounds! This balance change we made should make Mirai as powerful as it should be.
We would like to thank all players for the support you've given us in the passing years! As always, Feel free to voice your opinion in the game's Steam Discussion section or on our Facebook page. We will continue to develop and refine the game to be as good as possible.

Hello everyone. Today, mission 14: “Bridge to space” is now online. Sorry to keep you waiting.
To support both offensive and defensive operation, UCN schedule to send its new secret prototype superweapon into space. The launch site is located in Eastern Siberia territory, rendering it in risk of being attacked by CFN surgical strike force. Spetsnaz 2nd Battalion was assigned to guard the launch operation and protect the shuttle until it successfully climb to safe altitude, higher than the height BattleFrames can intercept.
The continuous success of previous missions displays the top notch skill, teamwork and high level of trust in each other among Spetsnaz squadron. But can they hold out against the massive onslaught of the enemy?
Hostile strike teams will stop at nothing. You'll be facing numerous warships and squadrons after squadrons of BattleFrames, while CFN transports carrying ground units throw themselves at the defense line to make sure SSTO never get out of Siberia.
There are 3 pilots (with one more exclusive to ‘PREPARE TO DIE’ difficulty) from KickStarter backers. One of them is an ace with his custom M3S. This might be the first time you will fight against an enemy with melee weapon.
Like in recent previous mission. You can play as both Yuliana in her ZX-05 Zavtra or Col. Andei in his red custom S-37 Terminator. The next mission is the last mission in Act II of the game so the next mission will be a very intense climax. You might consider Mission 14 as the calm before the storm.

Minor update: Shimakaze Kai build
Hello, today we have small update to you guys. Well, we're sorry that there's no new content in this update yet.
- We just fix bug in main menu screen. Now any problem with clicking things on the game's main menu you have experienced are gone.
- Every missions including recent missions in the second Act of the game now have subtitles.
- The code name of this build is 'Shimakaze Kai' and the date of update build is 25 December 2015.
The reason that this patch is quite... well, large, is due to technical issue I have to order the game engine to re-encrypt the game content (in the game's engine dictionary this is called 'cook'). So on the bit and byte level they look different from they used to be. Therefore it make the patch quite large even there's no new content presented... yet.
We're working on Mission 14 and Mission 15 of the game. I hope we can deliver them very soon and start working on the game's Act 3.

New update “Shimakaze”! Mission 13 - “Fall! Bird of peace!” is here!
Equipped with massive engines and high-power beam weapons, the sub-orbital craft is capable of reaching surface targets anywhere in the world and annihilating them within a few hours. Its missiles systems and Defenser Drone escorts make sure the HSOAU will be a tough beast to take down.
As the war set its stages, CFN set the course of the joint-project superweapons towards key UCN’s military installations in the Russian mainland. It’s heading to Vladivostok base in eastern Siberia. “Krasnaya Kometa” squadron is scrambled to intercept.
There’s an ace pilot from KickStarter in his custom M5 appearing in this mission!

- We still cannot figure out why the key binding system is not working. It should be working... We'll continue to investigate... I mean trying to fix this.

New update! New mission: Mission 12 - "Battle of Yukon" is here!
- To prevent US 3rd fleet from launching second strike, Col. Andei and Lt. Yuliana have to take on a mission to disable the US Air Force's Fort Yukon base in Alaska. They have to fly through the canyon very low with altitude restriction, destroy enemy's early warning radar systems before destroying the base's facility. However, what is waiting for them at the target area is beyond their expectation... far beyond it.
- We also have add new system to the game. Now you can learn more about the game's story and setting by listen to audio log files while you're in the mech hangar before mission sortie. Every mission since mission 12 will have this system. We hope we will have time to include this in earlier missions as well.
- We have fix the bug that make the game (seeming randomly) crash in mission 11. We're sorry that it took so long.
- The code name of this build is "Amatsukaze". Check the name in the main menu if you're not sure you're running the latest build of the game.
- Today is 1 year anniversary since Project Nimbus enter Steam Early Access. I'm sorry that we're working far slower than we though. However, we'll keep working and improving the game as best as we can and we'll finish this game.
- You might notice that Andei's Battle Frame also just got improved paint job. :P
Performance optimization and game balance adjust update.
Hello, the new patch code name 'Shiratsuyu Kai Ni' is now online for PC.
This patch is mainly performance optimization especially for mission 11th. But it shall also affect the rest of the game too. Please give it a try and tell us if the game's performance is better or not.
We also adjust the game balance. This also affect the whole game but it shall be the most noticeable in Mission 11th.
Mission 11th is still a hard mission. Although the possibility of beating it shall be significantly increased now.
I'm very sorry for the experience you have in past few days. Hope this new update will make Project Nimbus a better gaming experience for you. ;)

New campaign mission "Red Comet" is now available for play!
Hello everyone. Today I'm proud and excited to announce to you guys that the new build of the game has just been uploaded. The new build's code name is "Shiratsuyu". Here's the list of what's just introduced in this update.
- New campaign mission is here! Mission 11 "Red Comet". This shall be one of, if not the hardest mission of the second episode of the game.
- You will play as one of the legendary ace pliot in Project Nimbus universe. You job is: sink entire attacking USAF fleet comprised of many capitol ships and a lot of escorting force. You'll have 5 minutes to sink most of enemy fleet before your allied fleet (which is much weaker) arrive. I think this will be a very challenging and fun mission.
- The bug that let the game move a little bit everytime the player click in the pause menu is fixed.
- This is a big news for some of you guys, it has been requested so many time: we have add remappable control to the game for both conventional control (Mouse + Keyboard) and Joypad control. At this moment, the remapper is only in main menu's option. We've not add it to pause menu's option yet and the tutorial text haven't change according to the remapped button yet. This is not hard to do but it will take some time implementing.
- Unfortunately, at this moment this new build is delivered to only PC. Because of the unexpected technical difficulty I just see on Mac OS (from the new remappable control system), the Mac OS build of the game is not uploaded yet. I think it shall take about 24 to 48 hours to fix this problem.

Tip for the "Red Comet" mission:
- The Particle Cannon is meant to be anti-ship weapon and it's much more powerful than other typer of weapon including Rail Gun. So I think it will be good idea that while you're waiting for the Particle Cannon to be reloaded, you just go empty your other type of ammunition on the escort force. When the Particle Cannon is ready, approach one of the capital ship and fire.
- USAF's combat ships are very agile. If you want to make sure that they won't be able to evade your Particle Cannon, get as close to the target as you can and use bullet time to assist when you're firing.
- It's possible to clear enemy's force even 1 minute before your allied fleet arrive.
Two patch in a day? Yes, it is. New(er) patch is out now!
- We detected that the 'new' missile interception algorithm of machine gun bullets have major flaw that make the bullet prone to explode before leaving the gun barrel. Black Knight squadron and many of A.I. suffer a lot from this bug. I don't know if this will happen to player... However, because of this glitch, we revert to the old missile interception algorithm.
- We just adjust the second part of FOR THE FATHERLAND level. The Black K night squadron is still deadly, but your squadron members will not be annihilated in matter of seconds. Your squadron members will also put up a fierce fight.
- The code name of this build is : Yudachi Kai Ni. Check it on the mainmenu if you're not sure you're running the latest build of the game.
