Patch notes Beta 0.6.5

Demo
- The demo has been changed from the original lineup of Mystic Castle, Boarsailles to the new lineup of Undergrowth Burbs, Roach Motel, and Crystal Hollow (the first three levels in the game).
Steam Achievements
- A series of four achievements are granted for beating each boss in arcade mode.
Arcade Mode
- After defeating nutmeg in arcade mode, now the end credits are displayed just like in normal play.
Credits
- After the credits are skipped, you always return to the main menu instead of the overworld.
Chef Porcini
- The carrot and broccoli platforms are now wider to make the boss fight easier for newcomers. Since essentially all runs can't even touch these platforms to have a shot at gold, previous runs are not invalidated.

Distribution
- The itch . io channel for the full game is dismantled. Itch now only distributes the demo.
Generic
- The sound of Sybil burning up into ashes is now tied correctly to the sfx volume setting
Undergrowth Burbs
- Further visual improvements, including additional decorations, recolourings, redo of some assets, and redo of many cameras. Because of how cameras and controls work in this level, this does affect how Sybil will respond to inputs, but it doesn't really change what is possible to do in the level, so current time trial runs are not invalidated (but you might have to refresh your muscle memory)
- Fixes of several visual glitches.
- A boar after the exit has been moved vertically to correct a glitch.

Generic
- the reminder for newer available versions is permanently removed, as it's not necessary anymore and will soon stop working anyway
- the "controller recommended" screen has been edited to reflect Sybil's new design
- the bad_vertex splash music is now hooked to the music volume setting.

Stone Cold, Hell's Bells, Roach Motel
- Bells are a bit louder.
Secrets
- pretty big secrets. But probably you won't find them anytime soon

Roach Motel
- Changed camera in a certain spot.
Stone Cold
- Level collision fixes, might solve some hang-in-the-air, failed jumps... in certain sections.
- Fixed a glitchy shadow of a boar.
Cliffhanger
- All boars with propellers are moved towards the camera so that they cannot be passed in front of. Because all colliders in the game are AABBs, this does not invalidate runs unless the run specifically cheeses a boar in this way.

Dark Chocolate
- Removed a boar that allowed for a (difficult and annoying) unintended exploit to get token 24. The change is after the early exit, therefore previous runs are NOT invalidated.
- Camera changes at the beginning of the level.

Sybil
- Fixes to the spawning animation - Sybil's feet or body will not appear (or appear less) when spawning from a thin platform.
- New leaning back animation. This alleviates the problem of the leaning orientation being misaligned with Sybil's "default" orientation when the former overrides the latter, especially if you slap.
- Sybil will not transition into an idle animation while leaning.
- Fixes in animation transitions.
Pipe Dream
- It's not possible anymore from the end of the level to jump in a certain way and get cheesed.

New Level: Dark Chocolate



Short and sweet but ruthless and tricky, newest level Dark Chocolate is sure to humble the overconfident PsiloSybil vict player. This level is located between Haunted Lodge and Hell's Bells. If you have freed Markab from Close Encounters, you will have access to an early exit that will let you skip the tough ending section. You also need Markab to collect all the tokens and free this level's mushroom friend Letitia. Letitia is tough! And so are the time trials. No mercy to be found in this slippery realm, but it is fairly short so it shouldn't be too frustrating.

Also recently introduced you will find a renewed Sybil model with all animations redone and new ones added, in addition to two additional Steam Achievements.

Changelog for version Beta 0.6.4:

New Level: Dark Chocolate
- Dark Chocolate is released. It's located inbetween Haunted Lodge and Hell's Bells. The mushroom to free is Letitia. The level is short and sweet, very tricky but not overly long and exhausting. Letitia is a true puzzle, see if you can figure this one out. Markab is a requirement for the tokens and also he allows you to access an early exit for this very slippery level.
Overworld
- Fixed erroneous location of "hotel" sign

- New achievement for a gold run in CliffHanger
- New achievement for the rarest cheese portal

- Final major revision of Sybil's model and animations. All animations redone. Added new ledge leaning animation. Everything seems to work to me but there may be glitches and quirks - DO NOT PANIC, just gently report.
