Welcome to the weekly RAID: World War II newsletter!
This is an exciting week for us, since we wanted to surprise you all with a little content update! The content will be delivered in this week’s patch update!
Weapons
This week you will receive a new weapon! The Karabiner 98k will be added to the game! And here is a render we made to all those not sure what the weapon looks like:
Another addition to this week’s content push is the D34D Grenade! We had a grenade competition not long ago, and thought we want you to have more ways to make things go boom! And again, here is a render of what the weapon looks like:
Polish / Balance
Inline with the additional Karabiner 98k (sniper type weapon) you have in store, we also will be putting some polish onto the recon class Warcry!
Now the Recon Warcry is re-balanced to perform better with sniper type weapons, it will have:
- An increased hit-chance
- Locks into the body when at hip-fire, but locks into the head when in iron-sight / scopes
- A small health regen is given to the Recon character when making kills while the Warcry is active
Other weapons do not get this Warcry rebalance.
Community Moderators
This week by the end of the week we will decide on the applicants to the community moderators, so you have a final chance if you want to apply to be one then below is the link. Remember this is a LgL thing, not just for RAID.
To all those who are taking part in the Propaganda Posters competition, good job! We love them so far, and our concept artist can’t want to get his hands on the final ones.
If you haven’t submitted one yet, why not! Give it a try, even if you think you can’t draw, remember it’s the creative idea that counts. So make some artwork and place it here:
This weeks Stream is all about the Mods Community! We will invite a few of the mods to our Stream to talk about and showcase their work. We love that people take their time and make such creative stuff!
Join us on Twitch at 7pm Friday!

RAID: World War II - Propaganda Poster Competition!
Hey Raiders!
Welcome to Community Fridays!
The theme for this week is all about propaganda! The Axis and the Allies spent a lot of time on propaganda and some really interesting things came out of it. So, we thought what better way than to inspire you, the community to get creative around this.
RAID Propaganda Posters
So here are the rules:
- Create as many propaganda posters as you like
- If you have more than one post, post them individually, so that each poster is a unique entrance
- The propaganda posters can be either from the point of view of the Allies or the Axis
- We will curate the finalists
- The community will vote on the winners!
- Our concept artist will turn your artwork into the final piece of art
- The artwork will go into the game!
Competition hours:
- You can put your propaganda posts up today!
- On Thursday 7th December next week, we will curate the finalists and start the community voting
- On Monday 11th December we will announce the winners!

RAID: World War II - Update 10
Hey Raiders!
Welcome to this weeks patch update!
Community Fridays
Before we go into the patch update, just a note that we will be hosting a competition this coming week! Details will be released on Friday!
Community Moderators
Remember that you can also apply to be a community moderator! Details are on the Monday 27th Weekly announcement.
Below you can see the details for this weeks patch:
Feature:
Active Duty Bonus
- Each day that the player logs in to the online version of their camp, they receive a reward.
- If the player continues to log in on consecutive days, the reward increases, peaking after 5 consecutive days, at which point the cycle resets.
- If the player fails to log in for a day, the cycle also resets, and they must start a new streak of consecutive logins.
Crash:
- Fixed a crash, when interacting with the mission table. When the player did a raid on Hard or Very Hard and the top mission in the mission selection screen did not have these difficulties unlocked the game would crash, because the game saved the difficulty of the last played raid.
- Fixed a crash, when pressing enter on the mission unlock screen. When the player went to the missions screen after unlocking a new mission, the player would get a choice between 3 missions, upon pressing enter here without selecting any of the 3 missions the game would crash.
Animation:
- Fixed a minor visual bug, when holding the sten with the Tier 2 Decrease Spread upgrade.
- Fixed an issue, where the the positioning of the left hand was wrong when operating the turret and using the double-barreled shotgun.
Art:
- Fixed a minor visual bug, where gold bar would be clipping through the boat on Forest
Sound:
- Fixed an issue where the client was unable to hear the indication for the flamer. (heavey breathing)
Misc Bugs:
- Fixed an issue where the warcries were not displayed properly. All players would see that the other players would have Recon warcries although they were different classes.
RAID: World War II - Weekly Newsletter 27/11/2017
Hey Raiders!
Happy Monday and welcome to the weekly RAID: World War II newsletter!
To those who watched the weekly Stream, thanks! We had a lot of fun hosting it with PeaseMaker and including the competition winners too! So, shout out goes to Maz, Salem, Bjornen and Dysporid for joining!
Community Team
So, we thought it was about time to form a community team, made up of community members to be the spearhead of all things community for LgL and RAID: World War II! We will keep the initial community moderator team small at first (so around 5 people).
As the regulars know, community is something that we believe in deeply at LgL! We read the forums, Facebook, Twitter, Discord and all other messaging channels. We try to fix issues at a regular rate, and be the developers you can believe in.
So if you want to apply to be one then below is the link. Remember this is a LgL thing, not just for RAID.
So, you guys spoke and we listened to the need for more rewards. Content is something that we are always working on, but in the meantime for those who are regular players you get a login reward that accumulates as you log into RAID. For now, its gold, but let’s see what we add in the future!
Bugs
As always, we fix bugs. But a special note that we have seen the bug where the game crashes when an unachieved difficulty is selected, and that fix will be in!
Community Competition
Since “Bjornen” was first place in the previous community competition, we decided to hold some community activity around the “propaganda posters”.
This week we will announce the details but basically you will get to design some posters, both from the Allies and the Axis! For the winners our concept artist and all round great guy will polish them up and we will put them into the game!
We love when the community are creative so please join it!
Stream
Last Fridays stream was really fun, and it was one of the longer stream we did. It was a really positive sign, and we for sure want to showcase upcoming content to the community in its beta form. We will reach out to create a community mod dedicated Stream. More news on this soon!

RAID: World War II - Weekly Newsletter 20/11/2017
Hey Raiders!
Welcome to this week’s newsletter!
Another busy week for RAID: World War II as we enter Thanksgiving and beyond! So, we hope all the players states side enjoy their turkeys or anyone else who is celebrating.
Weekly Patch
As usual we will be updating the game this week. We have a number of bugs fixed, and a few bugs in specific where grenade kills not refilling the WarCry meter and the Scavenger proficiency not working when the ammo box has less than 10 ammo will be fixed.
Animation Variations
Last week we updated all the primary weapons to have unique animation based on the grips, and this week we will add those for the secondary weapons!
Grenades
We reviewed the forum comments about the grenades and their power, and this week we will change some of the grenade functions. The grenades base damage will be raised and the killzone will be increased, this should make them more viable for Hard and Very Hard modes. The damage the grenade does to the players have also been raised so use them wisely.
Competition
Thanks to everyone for taking part so far in this week’s competition! We have seen some wonderful creative entries. Remember that the point in this competition is to inspire creativity with the community and we certainly enjoy being closer to the community! The finalists will be announced Tuesday, where votes will begin for the top 3 winners ending on Thursday. For all those who haven’t taken part, why not give it a go!
Silo Level
To all those wondering, the Silo level is coming along nicely! And this week we will begin a private beta test with some Streamers and the top 3 winners of this week’s competition!
Live Stream
On Friday we will hold a live stream with PeaseMaker and of this week’s competition winners who want to join. We are excited to watch you play the Silo level and hold an open discussion about it where we can do an in-depth Q&A.
