Third Major Content Update Sneak Peek
Here is a sneak peek at what I have been working on for the next major content update. If you are interested in more regular updates, make sure to join my Discord. I have made good progress, and the heavy lifting for UPDATE 3 is done. I have no release date yet, but it will probably be available by the end of November.
Here is some AI-generated concept art I made for the upcoming update to give me an idea of the mood and aesthetics for the new minor locations I have planned. I will keep it a secret for now what exactly I have in mind with them 😄 . See how they turned out in the game at the end of this post.
I am also adding some new enemies to support the ideas I have in mind for the new locations and quests. Below you can see a cool little animation I made that shows the creation process of a new plant mutant enemy.
Similary I am adding a whole bunch of new items, mostly serving as rewards for the new quests and events that are planned. Here is another modelling animation of one of the new weapons:
As promised, I saved the best for last. Here is how two of the new minor locations turned out in the game:
Uncover the mysteries of this abandoned cabin in the woods.
Explore the monastery, where pious monks seek your help. Dark mysteries await in the catacombs that lie beneath 👻
I feel this next update will be the most meaningful to date. The new dungeon modificators, events, quests, and locations will add a lot to the gameplay. A whole array of new weapons, potions, and skills is just the cherry on top. Combined with UPDATE 4, this will really catapult RAIDBORN forward.

Content Update #3 Voting Results and Breakdown
The voting for the next major content update is over. I was surprised by the large number of submissions and the outcome. Thank you for voting and sharing your kind words and suggestions. It was a tight race, and the winner is Dungeons and Quests with 55.6% of the votes.
Below you can find the list of features and additions that are planned for the third major content update. If you have voted for Combat and Enemies, don't be sad because that will be subject to the next major update.
I am stoked to work on the new content, especially the dungeon modificators and new locations. As before, I will not name an exact release date but instead will update this post regularly to check completed features so you can follow the progress. For major updates, I usually plan roughly two months of development.
Additions:
☐ Dungeon Modificators ☐ New minor locations (farm, forest, graveyard etc.) ☐ New events and quests ☐ New note items for lore and quests ☐ New skill books ☐ New unique items and equipment
Improvements:
☐ Slight UI/UX improvements ☐ Some new mechanics for existing quest objectives
Finalization:
☐ Polishing ☐ Bugfixes
Feel free to share your thoughts on what is planned.
For reasons explained in the video above, I will adjust the order of the updates on the roadmap a bit. For the next major content update, I will do something special and let you decide what is more important to you right now. For that reason, I created a simple survey. On September 1st, I will evaluate the results and share them with you.
Please also check out the small update that released today.
