[Rosa Park] I've definitely nailed the cause of the game hanging after the first wave of TRC agents is killed. The number of enemies killed was being counted incorrectly due to the mix of dinosaurs and TRC agents. I've fixed this by separating the battles: it's now mandatory to kill all the dinosaurs before the game spawns the TRC agents. It's much cleaner now and the issue is (finally!) permanently fixed. :)
[Rosa Park] Increased the distance that the raptors will detect and chase Lux.
[Rosa Park] Reduced the volume of the battle music.
[Saint Sophia] Fixed a bug which could cause the game to hang in rare circumstances.
[Dandy Valley] Fixed a bug which could cause the game to hang after killing the first two enemies if the level had been played previously without completing the battle.
Other Stuff
[Mogwai] As Lux leaves the monastery with the scroll, she's attacked by a bunch of demons. Once she's disposed of those guys, the game will not spawn the second wave of enemies until she walks down the steps in front of her. Just mentioning this in case it looked like the game had stalled - it's actually intended to be that way.
Watch your social media for a new code to unlock items for Lux. It'll land within the next few days.
macOS support
Resequenced is now available and fully supported on macOS! If you run into any issues, please let me know and I'll get right onto fixing it.

[Mogwai] Fixed a bug where Lux could get stuck under the stairs in Guo's hideout.
[Mogwai] Fixed a bug where Lux could get stuck around the stairs after leaving the monastery with the chest.
Improvements
Slightly increased the probability of a "got hit" animation being played on Lux when she's attacked.
When Lux is attacked, there's now a 30% chance she'll cry out (before this update, the probability was 20%).
Build 20200125 is live
Bug Fixes
[Saint Sophia] When returning to Sollix with the Fire Rod, the forest was not being rendered (only the grass and rocks). Fixed.
[Saint Sophia] Teshi and Sollix were too loud when talking to Lux. Fixed.
[Saint Sophia] Teshi and Sollix were both missing their eyes and eyelashes. Fixed.
[New Shinjuku] If Lux stood near some of the walls in the hospice, the camera would reveal some of the scene's geometry which was meant to be hidden from the player. Fixed.
[New Shinjuku] Cailee's shoes were not textured properly in the hospice, and they could also disappear when moving the camera. Fixed.
Fixed a bug in the save file code which could potentially corrupt data in rare instances.
Improvements
Lux's eyes were too reflective, to the point where they sometimes looked metallic. Fixed in this build, and her eyes will be further improved in an upcoming build.
Build 20200115 is live
Bug fixes
[Rosa Park] The TRC agents now teleport very close to Lux. Before making this change, they could sometimes be hard to find, and it would appear as though the game had stalled.
[Rosa Park] The TRC agents here are now easier to kill. They're still challenging in the higher difficulty levels.
[Rosa Park] Removed some trees growing inside one of the houses.
[Rosa Park] Removed some floating objects inside one of the houses.
[Mogwai] A building here was partially suspended in the air. Fixed.
Improved the appearance of the hair style "Birthday Girl 4" by applying the correct shader.
Improvements
[Rosa Park] Added a teleport effect to the TRC agents in this location.
Other Stuff
Just thought I'd mention that the "unlock goodies" codes on social media expire after a few days. The latest code (sent about a week ago) will still be active for a few more days though. To get these codes, just follow Resequenced or Based On The Play on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
In this build, I forgot to update the version number on the Home screen. It still says 20200106, but rest assured, this build is actually the new one (20200115).
Finally, THANK YOU to all of you for supporting the game, and especially to the people who report issues. It really helps - almost all the bug fixes in each update are from people submitting Send Diagnostics reports. So thanks again. ːsteamhappyː
Build 20200106 is live
Bug fixes
The belt and holster were being re-equipped when changing Lux's clothes, even when "Always hide Holster" was selected. Fixed.
[Rosa Park] Fixed a bug where combat could stall if a dinosaur was killed directly after killing two Redaction agents.
[Hart Residence] Some objects in the Hart residence were rendering as transparent. Fixed.
[Mogwai] Fixed a bug where Lux would sometimes walk on a tilt after defeating the ogre outside the monks' hideout.
[Mogwai] The hourglass was floating in one scene. Fixed.
[Mogwai] If Lux jumped on top of the hourglass before smashing it, she'd be walking on a tilt afterwards. Fixed.
[Saint Sophia] There was one section of the terrain where Lux could walk through the embankment and tree roots. Fixed.
[Saint Sophia] There was a gap in a rock near the Fast Travel Station. Fixed.
Improvements
Greatly improved the Mad Maxine boots by changing the shader on the barbed wire wrapped around them.
Other Stuff
Happy New Year! Watch your social media in a few days - a new unlock code will be posted.
If you're using macOS Catalina - Apple's latest release of macOS - you'll run into issues the first time you try to run the game. There's an easy fix though; please read my post here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/845490/discussions/0/1735508423602124975/
Build 20191217 is live
New features
Unlocked Lux's Christmas outfits for players who weren't with us last year. Under the Lux menu you'll find six Christmas dresses, four Christmas hats and some Christmas boots. I'll lock these again in early January, so fire up the game before then to permanently unlock them in your game save.
Bug fixes
The code to invert the X and Y axes was somehow regressed, so it wasn't working anymore. This is fixed now.
Lux was having a wardrobe malfunction when wearing any of the Tanked dresses. There was a glitch in the mesh which I couldn't fix, so I've had to remove them from the game and replace them with new outfits. If you've already unlocked any of the Tanked dresses, the new replacement outfits will be unlocked when you start up the game.
Fixed various graphics glitches that were occurring when Lux stood near walls in New Shinjuku.
Fixed a bug which was causing new copies of Lux's accessories to be instantiated every time you selected a new Upper-Lower outfit. This was using memory unnecessarily and potentially slowing the game for some players.
Performance tuning
Slightly improved the performance of the scene lighting in New Shinjuku.
Other Stuff
Watch your social media over the next few days - a new unlock code will be posted soon. Happy Christmas / holidays all! :)
Build 20191215 is live
Bug fixes
The haunted doll in New Shinjuku was not appearing in the city scenes with Cailee. Fixed.
Performance tuning
Improved performance during the outdoors battle scenes in New Shinjuku.
Improvements
Minor code refactoring for easier future maintenance.
Build 20191124 is live
New features
Added a new hairstyle for Lux (Birthday Girl in black).
Bug fixes
Guns which hadn't been acquired or unlocked could sometimes be equipped too early in the game (e.g. the rocket launcher). Fixed.
Ammo boxes would sometimes contain ammo for guns that hadn't been acquired or unlocked. Fixed.
When moving to a new area, ammo was only being refilled to the initial capacity (before skill point upgrades). This is now fixed; the upgrades are applied at each scene load.
The "C" key was not available for remapping. Fixed - you can use it now.
There was a bug in Mono (the underlying .NET framework powering the game) which could corrupt the save files for PCs configured with European localisation. This is because European localisation formats decimals with a comma (e.g. "on sale at 1,99" instead of "on sale at 1.99") and this could sometimes result in the game saving a floating point number (i.e. decimals) incorrectly. The bug in Mono has been fixed and the new Mono framework is now being used in the game. [Rosa Park]The enemy agents were being spawned in a fixed location, but this part of the game is open space and the player can easily take Lux a long way from the spawn location. This could result in the game appearing to stall, as Lux could be too far away for the AI to find her. This won't happen any more as the enemies are now spawned close to Lux, regardless of where she is.
Improvements
I've unlocked Chapter Select right from the start of the game. I've included a warning on the screen, pointing out that the story won't make sense. I think this is an improvement - you should be able to do whatever you want with the game. It will also help if players get stuck due to save file corruption, although I think that issue has finally been fixed in this build (see the note above about the Mono framework bug).
Other Stuff
Jess: the blonde version of that hair style is already in the game, you mustn't have unlocked it yet. Just keep playing. :)
Build 20191120 is live
Bug fixes
Under certain conditions, the scanner's cooldown timer could break, making the scanner unavailable. Added a check to ensure this doesn't happen and additional code to reset the scanner to useable at the start of each chapter.
Added a check to ensure the name of the current level is saved to disk before loading the Home screen. This fixes a potential issue where selecting Continue could just keep reloading the Home screen.
Pressing Esc while the Appearance window was open was closing the window, but the player needed to bring the menu back up to continue normally. Fixed.
Changed engine's physics settings to prevent issues where sometimes Lux would be moving at 2-3x her correct speed, and dialogues would play back incorrectly. I haven't been able to test this fix as I can't reproduce these issues, but I'm reasonably certain it will resolve them. These parameters needed to be changed anyway for a more consistent frame rate. [New Shinjuku] Fixed an issue where you'd have to replay the fight against the infected with Richersen if you entered the metro station before he'd finished his post-fight dialogue.
