The Vivacious – Zhang You
Within the Temple of the Twelve lies a unique, lonely character – the Monkey Zodiac, Zhang You. He treats everyone neutrally, seeing them as neither good nor bad. He may come across as cold to outsiders, but in reality, this is a result of the hardships he’s faced.
Zhang You was blessed with outstanding potential, but as his mother was met with ill-fate; trauma during pregnancy, this resulted in him being born into the world with an incurable sickness. Not long after his birth, his mother passed away. Zhang You’s father was not going to lose his son after losing his wife, so he spent his entire fortune on trying to cure Zhang You of his illness, to no avail.
Despite this, Zhang You still grew as a genius in his teen years, mastering countless magical talents. However, due to his sickness, his physical body was incredibly weak, resulting in unbearable pain. Because of this, nobody expected him to do what he did next. Upon the death of his father, he conjured a mighty guardian, to protect his weak physical form.
As the guardian grew in strength, it began to gain sentience, causing Zhang You to lose control of it. The guardian repeatedly abused his body to perform deeds he would never normally perform. Unnatural, unworldly deeds. Feeling he was left with no choice, in order to stop this guardian from destroying even more, Zhang You took his own life, which resulted in the death of his guardian.
Upon his death, his spirit entered the Spirit Realm. The Queen of Souls’ curiosity was piqued. A soul with two faces? Zhang You and his Guardian. She decided this would be worth her times, and took him in. She kept both of his souls and gave him a new body in exchange for his eternal service. Two souls can coexist within the same physical body, but they will not share the same memories. The day he began to stand guard within the Temple of the Twelve, is the day the endless internal battle of Zhang You and his guardian commenced.
In Zhang You’s eyes, the world contains two of him. He does not know whether this will fill the void created by his loneliness, or if it simply will make him feel lonelier?
The Discerning – Naathur
Naathur is known widely to have an elegant demeanor, both in body and mind. He adores singing, but while his voice has the unique ability to control individual people, it unfortunately has always sounded husky since birth. This has been the biggest thorn in his heart.
He spent much time traveling the land of Nuanor, with no worries or ties to anyone, but nobody ever knew that he was merely searching for perfection in this world. Naathur had a dream since he was young, in which he could barely see a blurry, shrouded figure. In these dreams, despite the fact the figure could never clearly be beheld, it presented itself with unworldly perfection. He firmly believed that this figure was his eternal, final goal. Ever since, he began his journey through the mountains and the seas, in search of this figure that presented itself in his dreams.
In the Western World, his irresistible, elegant appearance attracted the attention of the soon-to-be Rabbit Zodiac, Sai Hua. Understanding that she is desired by countless men, just like a goddess, he still did not look at her even once. This is because he knows that Sai Hua is not even close to the perfection he sought. Disregarding her, he continued his travels over many, many years, but still, he could not find the figure in his dreams.
Nearing the end of his will, about to give up his quest, he suddenly dreamt of this shrouded figure once again. But this time around, the figure he saw in his dreams could finally be perceived with clarity. He saw it clearly; it was none other than himself!
This made him feel even worse, as if he had completely lost all his hopes. Knowing of his imperfections, with his own voice being so husky, he knew it is impossible for himself to become perfect. But, if this world does not possess such perfection, what is the reason to continue living?
Naathur, with a distraught, broken soul, leaped off into the abyss, ending his own life. At the Spirit Realm, the Queen of Souls fulfilled his wishes, and granted him a melodious voice. Extremely appreciative, he assumed the mantle of the Rooster Zodiac and resolved to guard the Temple for the sake of the Queen. But one day, as so much time had passed, suddenly he misses his old, imperfect self. He had then realized, during his journey, searching for such perfection, this had brought him to witness the intricate colors of the world. But now, even with the voice he so desired, what can be done?
As he sings a melodious tune, even the birds don’t appear by his side any longer.

So, you’ve decided on marrying your significant other! How exciting! Well, let’s get right into how to proceed!
Getting Engaged
To get engaged with your significant other, you need to meet the following requirements:
Once you’ve met these three requirements, purchase an Engagement Ring from the In-Game Store. There are two types! One will locally announce your engagement to the server, the other will announce your engagement on the cross-server channel! It’s your choice, how far do you want your love to be heard? Target your pact mate and use the ring. Be careful, if they reject your proposal by accident (or they really don’t want to marry), the ring will disappear, and you won’t be able to get it back!
Planning the Big Day!
Now you’ve agreed to get married, there’s so much to do! Head on over to Liamwyn, the Marriage NPC in the Sulan Tavern to set up your big day! When you set up the marriage, you can pick the size of your wedding. (This will increase the cost of Heartlink Stones needed to purchase your chosen ceremony.) You can fully customise the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen and invite your fellow in-game friends to witness your happy day! Once you’ve set up the style of wedding, the NPC outfits, the Bride and Groom outfits and the parade, you can then proceed to set an auspicious date and time for your wedding!
Once you have set up a date and time, you will get a timer pop-up in game, telling you how long until it’s time to make those vows!
The Ceremony, Parade and Newly Wed Chambers
Once your wedding begins, you will first enter the Ceremony Chamber. You and your invited guests enter and celebrate! Present boxes will be scattered around, you can gift Aurum to the Bride and Groom also. Once the Blessing Meter is full, you can then begin the marriage ceremony. Once complete, you will then take to the streets of Sulan in your carriage, to celebrate with the people of Ausgyth! Lots of wedding gifts will appear on the floor for everyone to take. Once the parade has come to a stop, a feast will begin, while the Newly Wedded couple can take to the Newly Wed Chambers to spend a night together. Additional Intimacy can be earned here.
Once the wedding has concluded, married couples will get rewards in their mail.

Ying Shan and Bai Zhe were very close friends. As Ying Shan suffered betrayal from his own family in his past last, he was very cautious, paranoid and took great care when looking at everything in the world. He encased himself in such thick armor, for the sake of concealing his pure innocence from everyone. However, his kind and honest nature cannot be concealed by armor, therefore he became the most likeable among the Twelve Zodiacs, with Bai Zhe expressing the most admiration for his pure heart.
Bai Zhe has always been extremely jealous of Ying Shan, as he strongly believes he possesses the wisdom of forgiveness and carefreeness, unlike himself, who has seen countless things in the world of souls. He became extremely sensitive, and exhausted. This strongly ties to Bai Zhe’s ability – Being a man who possesses the immense power to control thoughts. He believed he could cure the world of everything that afflicted it.
Bai Zhe was born into poverty, his origins making it so that he could never have come into contact with any kind of power. Seeing his parent’s cruel death when he was young, he learned to fear bloodshed and death, while at the same time developing an irresistible desire for power. He meditated, trained himself in ways humans could not possibly imagine. He faced immeasurable obstacles and challenges, learning techniques from renowned factions across the land. Eventually, he would discover the ability to give himself eternal life. Having achieved so much, he thought he could live his life without pain. But time flowed slowly. This eternal life gave him a lifetime of endless lapses of pain, draining his soul to exhaustion, with no-one able to kill him.
One day, he discovered the existence of the Spirit Realm, and the power of the Queen of Souls. He again devoted himself to a new cause, remaining near the sacred spot where the Queen may appear, for several thousand years. Finally, his patience paid off and he was blessed with a meeting with her. Upon meeting, they formed a contact, where the Queen of Souls granted him his wish; to experience death and sending him to the Spirit Realm. In exchange, he was tasked to become the Goat Zodiac, and stand guard over the Temple of the Twelve. He agreed to this.
However, upon his death, all that was there for him was a slow, long, endless life. Forever trapped in the contract he took with no ability to escape.
He forever envies Ying Shan, as he understands that the mighty Ox Zodiac is never truly paranoid towards anyone, enabling him to live happily. With a broken soul, Bai Zhe believes he can not live as happily as his friend does.
“I no longer want to open my eyes. I am too exhausted. I only wish for sleep, so I no longer need to be awake.”
Liberty – Qian Lin
Qian Lin grew up with his Grandfather, who was a wise and powerful sage. In his youth, they lived together, living a life isolated from the rest of the world. As a result of this, Qian Lin never experienced the cruelty, fraudulence and dishonesty in the real world. This led him to possess a pure soul and great energy, as if he could never get tired.
Upon reaching adulthood, Qian Lin, under his Grandfathers instructions, left to study the outside world. Having not experienced this before, he immediately became too attracted to it, completely forgetting about the studies his Grandfather instructed him to do. He made use of the skills he inherited from his Grandfather to traverse the world, looking for things he’d never experienced before. This resulted in him wasting his youth with no achievement.
As he was too curious towards the world, Qian Lin could not restrain his own desires and chose to abandon his Grandfathers orders completely, using his power where he is not supposed to in order to reach the Spirit Realm. Upon reaching the Spirit Realm, he quickly discovered his powers were nullified, as if he never had them. While Qian Lin suffered with his existence after this, by sheer coincidence, the Queen of Souls came across him on her travels.
She was seeking Twelve Guardians for the Zodiac Temple. As the first person to meet the Queen, she forced him to guard the Temple for 10 years as punishment for trespassing in the Spirit Realm, before granting him freedom.
Assuming the mantle of the Horse Zodiac, Qian Lin diligently stood guard for 10 years. He witnessed the Queen of Souls’ determination, watching as she retained lost and strong souls, reforming their bodies in response to guard the sacred device of the Spirit Realm. He gradually became attracted to the Queen, with a strong sense of admiration, requesting to stay in the Spirit Realm to guard the Temple of the Twelve for her cause. Everyone knows of Qian Lin’s feelings towards the Queen, but he did not mind such, as in his own heart, she will always be the holy Queen, with a figure that will always be beautiful.

Heaven and Earth: Battle Companion Intimacy System
Battle Companions come with a key system: Intimacy. This is important as it will improve your Battle Companions effectiveness in combat! So, let’s explain what it does and how to obtain it!
When leveling up your Battle Companions Intimacy level, it will do the following:
If you have less than 5 skill slots unlocked and all of them are full, you have a chance to unlock a skill slot along with a skill. If you have empty slots, you have a chance to directly learn a new skill.
Intimacy strengthens your Battle Companion! So, how do you obtain Intimacy? Read on!
The key point is, where possible, always have your Battle Companion summoned by your side. There are many sources of Intimacy, including:
Take note: Synergy Horns provide more/less Intimacy based on the Quality of the item. Acacia Branches increase 1 Intimacy Level directly. However, the Acacia Branches have a limited usage per Battle Companion.
EXP Overflow Conversion happens when your Battle Companion has reached its maximum level. When defeating monsters, completing daily/weekly events or quests, a partial amount of this EXP earned will be converted into Intimacy.
Intimacy is a very important system to boost your Battle Companions effectiveness! So remember to take good care of them.
The biggest point of Heaven and Earth is the introduction of a new Dungeon: Temple of the Twelve! So, read on for more information on the dungeon, what requirements are needed and everything you may need to know!
Entry Requirements
The 12 Zodiac Bosses can be challenged from level 59 onwards, meaning you can get started early in your quest to beat them. (Or to gain Battle Companions and items!) You will not be put against a level 79 boss if you are not level 79, the dungeon scales to level. Get your party together for some awesome encounters. This raid is specifically for a 5-person party! Once inside, speak to the Spirit Minister in each hall. This NPC will allow you to fight the bosses. The bosses you face will be at random, so you will never know who you’re about to fight!
Difficulty and Challenges
The Temple is split into three halls and each hall is designed to be more difficult than the last.
You can only challenge the bosses of each hall, three times per hall a week. Totaling for 9 boss fights!
