Hello there!

Just to let you know that we will be releasing the new version (0.42d) in the next few days. We have fixed an issue with Windows 10 where the save games were not working (Conan had the issue). We decided to move the save games under the game's folder path.

Improvements



  • Added Female audio sound
  • Optimized General Audio sound
  • Implemented a new creature that will be available for the final theme (Caves)


Fixes:



  • Fixed bad audio sound when walking on stones
  • Fixed an audio issue with the teleport when deactivated
  • Fixed another audio issue when the sound is not working anymore when you re-enable the teleport.
  • Fixed some typos in French
  • "Show Secret" Spell now works correctly with the different shaders.

Dev Update #4

We just wanted to let you know that we will push the beta version to the public branch in one week and half. We are in vacations for the next week. We don't want to push a version that could potentially break the game.

We will be able to support you (if there are any issues with the new version) when we come back from vacation.

We won't be able to answer the forum during that period of time.

Alpha v0.42c (Beta)

This update fixes two issues:
<*> An issue when multiple save games are used in the game (the data was mixed up between the different saves).
<*> An issue when the player is resuming his game.

Alpha v0.42b (Beta)

A new update has been released on the Beta branch to fix a major save game issue and some minor bugs.

fixes:



  • The save game now saves the game when you enter a new level. The game doesn't save when you die. You will have to do it manually if you decide to save your current game.
  • You can use F5 to quickly save your game and F9 to quickly load your game.
  • A mini tutorial is added in the option menu to let you know how to save / load your current game.
  • The screenshot for the save game was not always saved correctly. This is now fixed.
  • Menu conflicts have been resolved (you can't open multiple menus at the same time)
  • There was a bug that was preventing the player from leaving the Mines. The stairs didn't have the correct behavior.
  • Some streaming issues have been fixed for the Mines Level 1

Alpha v0.42 (Beta)

A new version 0.42 has been pushed on the EA Beta branch.
This version is only available on PC.

If the build is stable enough, we will push the version to everyone and the Linux and Mac build will be available at the same time.

Dev Update #3

Here is another dev update:



We have been working on few things we hope you'll enjoy. A beta version will be released soon for you to help us identify major bugs and give use more time before we publish this version to everyone. Major elements (like the save game) have been changed and we want to make sure it doesn't break the game.

So, here are the details:

Improvements:



  • The save games have been modified. You know have three save games available.
  • We changed the way the saves actually work. You will need to save your game (like most of the other games) as you progress, otherwise your game progression will be lost. The game won't save your progress when you quit the game or when you go back to the main menu as it used to do it before.
  • Level of difficulty has been tweaked. You now get more xp when you select a higher difficulty (debatable?). The creatures are doing more damages and have more resistances and when you respawn (after dying), your health is lower.
  • Three more levels have been added to the game (Mine Theme) with a new gameplay element.
  • A new creature has been added to the mines level.


Fixes:



  • Fixes some streaming issues in the different levels
  • Some potions didn't have the correct setup (health and mana were mixed up)
  • A minor update on the audio part. A lot of sounds were playing even if the volume was set to zero. Now the audio clips are disabled if you are far away.
  • Some collisions have been updated for the decorations in the levels.
  • The map now has the correct information (some items were not flagged correctly)
  • The loot interaction distance has been increased to support situation when the loot is almost out of screen.
  • All the spell texts have been shorten to support both french and english version ("Spell Book of" has been removed).
  • Fixed issues with the buy and sell audio sound in specific situations.
  • A bug with the alcoves have been fixed (for the red orbs).

Alpha v0.35c

Hello,

This update fixes an issue in one of the hole in the new Temple levels.
The character was falling at the wrong place (and was stuck).

The Fix is available for all platforms.

Alpha v0.35b

EDIT: The patch is now available for PC, Linux and Mac.

Here is a patch that fixes the issue with the invisible wall (before entering a challenge area).
This bug was happening in three different areas:

  • Temple 1 Level 4
  • Temple 2 Level 2
  • Temple 2 Level 3


Here are also other fxes:

  • Fixed binding stone issue when you unlock you first binding stone and you already have your spells and weapons equipped.
  • Your custom keys in the option menu are not reset anymore when you delete your save game.

Alpha v0.35a

Here is another update. This one is pretty small and aims to fix an issue in the new temple area (invisible wall) before a challenge area.

Fixes:



  • Fixed the merchant (didn't have the correct texture)
  • Fixed the cursor issue in the challenge area (Temple 2)
  • Potential fix for the issue that could cause the invisible wall to appear in front of the challenge area


We are not sure this update will resolve the invisible wall as we can't reproduce the problem on our side. Please let us know as soon as you encounter the issue.
