It's been one week since Satellite Reign was released! Thanks again to all our backers and everyone who has supported the game so far. We appreciate all the feedback and bug reports you've provided, and hope that you keep it up.
We've got a whole bunch of new additions and bug fixes in this update. Let's start with the new stuff!
Iron Man Mode
For those who want a bit more of a challenge, we've added the option to start a new game in Iron Man Mode. This resets an agent's skills and XP upon death. This option—along with the following—are only available on new games, and unfortunately cannot be used on existing save games.
Ultra Damage Mode
If Iron Man Mode wasn't hard enough, we've added Ultra Damage Mode which multiplies the damage dealt as well as received by roughly three times! You'll down enemies much quicker, but you're just as vulnerable as they are. It's a much more brutal and on-the-edge experience for those who are gluttons for punishment.
Slow Down Time Ability Unlocked
We've had a lot of requests for a 'Real-Time with Pause' feature. We felt we had covered this with the 'Team Stims' ability for the Support agent, which slows down time allowing you to issue orders at a more leisurely pace. Admittedly, it takes a while to unlock and fully upgrade this skill, so for those who wanted to to have it available from the beginning, we've added a new game option to fully unlock this ability. We hope this is good news for those of you who want to take their time contemplating their next move.

Fixes for looping sounds persisting after game loads, fixed various sounds not being affected by volume controls and sounds which should be localized but were infinite.

Localisation
Translation into French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian and Czech is still on the way and we're hoping to roll them out in a few weeks. We'll notify everyone with an announcement when that happens.
We'll be continuing to fix bugs as they come. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy these new additions to the game!

Build 1.00 released
No biggie.. Just build 1.0 after over two years of dev.
Slightly earlier than expected due to a bad uploaded Mac build on v 0.99. Now fixed.
And Mac is now a Universal build running 64 bit or 32 bit.
Expect a 1.01 build to follow, we're not stopping any time soon.

We have fixed the bug where windowed mode would produce a 0 by 0 window. If you are currently suffering this problem, run the game build 0.98, it will edit your registry settings to fix the 0,0 then it will exit. You will have to run again for the registry changes to take effect.
Or you can simply run the game and hold down left shift (or alt on Mac and Linux) to bring up the pre-game Resolution selector.
Some dev options have been removed (like disabling xray/HDR/extra dev debug info/... ) if you have these options on in your options6.xml you can hand edit it or delete the file.

Community Challenge, No Big Brother
Are the No Big Brother Achievements possible?
I think they are, but the rest of the team think they aren't and should be removed.
I don't have time to prove them wrong, so its up to the community to do it.
Post screenshots of your no Big Brother Achievements, first for each of the main districts (we know tutorial can be done) will get a free copy of the novella, sound track and secret hidden backers outfit..
A video would be even better because I really want to see it be done..
And to help you out, if you enable the dev option for fps and extra debug info, it shows you how many cameras are active in each district. (the line starting with cctv)
I think you have about 9 minutes before they start to self repair, so get that team stim going, hijacked enemies. fast travel and any other skills you think will come in handy..

Soundtrack and Novella Now Available on Steam!

Bugs fixed, lots of bugs.

Biggest fix is your agents getting stuck spinning in destroyed doors, so look out for that one and post a screenshot if it happens again. (Hopefully it wont, I spent 2 days tracking that one down).
Also damage texture has been fixed so it blends correctly with scenery and shouldnt render over cars.

As some of you may already be aware, Satellite Reign is now less than two weeks from leaving Early Access, taking it into full release. Creating this title has been an amazing, unforgettable experience for us, and we owe it all to our backers. Watching the release date draw nearer is both exciting and nerve-racking, but we're optimistic that people will enjoy what we've created.

Localisation
A quick note regarding the localisation of Satellite Reign. As promised, we are localising the game into French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian and Czech. However, the translations will be delayed slightly until a few weeks after the digital release.
This is not the fault of our localisation team, but rather due to us massively underestimating the amount of text we would end up with in the game. This meant that we were still adding and changing text much later into development than anticipated, which pushed out our localisation schedule.
Rest assured, the localisation process is well under-way and reaching the final stages. There will then be a quick 2nd-pass to pickup any additional changes and inconsistencies, and we'll then roll out the localisations ASAP. Thankfully, pushing updates out on to Steam is quicker than building the game, so we'll be getting it into your hands as soon as it’s ready.

As promised a fix for the looping stealth sound.
A few fixes for quest target's not appearing and also extra debug info to help us track the bug down further.

Mainly a quick update to fix the Fast Travel bug.
Also fixes an issue with some VIP's spawning in the air.
A bunch of new audio sfx..
Finally fixed the weird grey unlit doors.
You can sprint to doors!
