Release 1.1.10a - Archery Update

Hello everyone,

This patch is a very substantial update to the game. The tutorial has again been modified substantially. If you have already completed the tutorial you will not have to do it again but if you want to do the tutorial over again, contact me on discord and I will reset your tutorial state (you will keep your inventory, skills, other quests, ect.). I'm not sure what features I'll be able to put into next week because the rest of the time this week will probably be spent on bug fixes and stability fixes for the game. My list of known bugs for this patch is very small so if you find something that you think is a bug please let me know and ill try to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Release 1.1.10a next week

Hello everyone,

There wasn't supposed to be a release next week but instead of doing a release today I am pushing all of the content that was supposed to be in this patch into next week's patch. I just tried putting too much content into this patch and I didn't end up getting it debugged in time to do a proper release.

The patch for next week will contain the archery update, two handed weapon updates, combat updates and lots of map changes. It will also contain the contents of today's patch which includes the merchant skill, performance fixes and buying and selling items.

Release 1.1.9a - Server Issues Fixed

Hello everyone,

Some users have been noticing the servers have been a lot less reliable lately. I recently moved the backend database servers to AWS RDS and it has been having a ton of DNS issues which have been bringing the game servers down.

I switched the backend database servers back to normal AWS and they should be a lot more reliable.

Release 1.1.9a

Hello everyone,

This patch is pretty small and addresses several server issues, LOD (level of detail) issues, and increases thee shadow distance on all quality levels. If anyone is having new performance issues with this patch that you weren't having before, let me know.

This month will be super busy for me and the next patch will be much more substantial. The release schedule for the month is available here

Release Schedule for April

Hello everyone,

There is going to be tons of new content this month and things will probably get moved around quite a bit. I am going to try to get all of these features implemented this month, but again it will probably not be in this order depending on what issues come up and how long things actually take to get done. The release on the 17th of April will probably be skipped because again the last release of this month will be pretty significant. I am planning on expanding and adding more areas to the map, but I'm not sure that that will be something I will get done this month. Anyway, here is the schedule for now:

Release 1.1.8a

Hello everyone,

There is a ton of content in this patch that I added last minute because I finished all of the features that were in the release schedule for March. Labistre City has been released, which contains a couple of shops and a bank. You can now buy a lot of the items used in crafting, so if you like to focus on mining or smelting or you're just looking to grind a particular skill you can buy the components you don't want to make. Also there is a new mining side quest that will reward you with additional experience towards your mining skill as you complete objectives. I will do similar quests for wood cutting and smelting.

If you have already completed the tutorial quest, you can access Labistre City right away and you will also have the mining side quest available to you.

Release 1.1.7a - Small Fix

Hello everyone,

There was an issue where players wouldn't be able to receive items from NPCs. This was a server only fix so there won't be an client update.

If you weren't able to receive items from NPCs, you should be able to now.

Release 1.1.7a

Hello everyone,

This patch contains upgrades to the main quest and other upgrades that will be needed for the new map segments coming in the next patch (Labistre City). The tutorial quest has been significantly changed, so the data for each player's progress in the main quest is going to be cleared. The Labistre City release is on schedule and will be released next week.

Release 1.1.7a Pushed Back

Hello everyone,

I was planning on doing a release today to fix issues with the new map and the tutorial quest but there aren't any major issues with the release that I feel need addressing with a patch today, so I will push it back a week.

The release schedule says that the release on March 20th will be skipped but because I'm skipping this patch there will be a release on March 20th.
