• Main Story Extended
(Part of the new features are related to the main storyline, therefore to avoid spoilers, they will not be published here.)

• Sub-House Management: Players can now create and manage sub-houses under their own faction. Players will have to maintain diplomatic relations not only with their own faction but also with sub-houses. 8 main sub-faction diplomatic decisions have been added to the game.

• Soldier Train Camp Added: Players can now quickly level up 4 soldiers by sending them to the training camp via the barracks at the capital station.

• NP Faction Intelligence Improved: NP factions AI has been enhanced with new features.

• AI Wars Added: AI factions can now engage in wars with each other. Players and their factions can directly influence these wars. Players can participate in AI vs. AI wars individually or with their faction and change the course of the battle.

• Faction Wars Balanced: Faction wars are now more challenging.

• Support Buildings Activated in Faction Wars: Capturing and holding support buildings can change the course of the war.

• New Crew Members Added.

• Ground Combat AI Improved: The AI for ground combat has been improved (still under development, but smarter than before).

• Texture and Overlays Optimized: Many poor-looking textures have been updated.

• AI Facial Morphs and Dialogue Animations Improved: AI characters' lips now move in sync with the dialogue text.

• Planet Landing and Surface Loading System Improved: It is now more performance-optimized and less bug-ridden. This should also fix bugs related to mission areas not spawning on the planet's surface.

• General Game Optimization: Projectiles, effects, shadows, and high frame rate animations have been optimized to prevent crashes due to performance issues.

• Diplomatic News Tab Added: Players can now follow diplomatic news and wars from the diplomacy interface.

• Landing Port Added to Player Faction Stations, for Motherships, and other big class Ships.

• New Soundtracks by TrapMusic Industry: 2 new environmental music tracks (for guilds and some stations) have been added. Many thanks to them!



BUG FIXES:


Reported by players as follows :

• Some wars never end, regardless of whether I win or lose.

• If there is a war in a system, war starts even if I warp somewhere other than that battlefield.

• During a battle, if the battle ends while performing a "battle warp", the ship is stuck in the battle warp sequence. Cannot return to generic gameplay.

• My squad can sometimes attack me or ally ships.

• If I open the pause menu while quick saving the game, the save sequence is paused, and if I save the game from the menu at that time, both save files become corrupted.

• Bullet guide indicators stuck on the screen if the target ship is too far away.

• When a station is attacked, if I save/load the game within 4 seconds after the attack starts, I automatically win the war.

• If I leave large ships in the center of independent Faction stations and go inside, I cannot enter some areas in the interior. The ship's collision affects the inside of the station.

• Sometimes, quest locations (villages, camps, etc.) and other structures spawn on top of each other on some planet surfaces.

• I can make faction meetings at the old HQ (Cave) after I build a capital station. And when I do, newly added characters are not visible in the meeting, only their voices are heard.

• NPCs at the villages or the camps on the planet's surface are duplicated every time I use the hoverbike.

• Some side quests do not spawn when playing in languages other than English. The mission does not start when I go to the point indicated by the scanner.

• When looting ammo crates, sometimes it adds less or even negative amounts of ammo. For example, my ammo drops from 10 to -20 after looting.

• On some planets, the landing animation (sequence) starts to take off from the surface before it is completed, and I can never land on those planets. (We couldn't reproduce that bug but we think this is happening on planets with very short atmospheric distances, and we made some changes to prevent this, please let us know if the problem persists) )

• While purchasing a resource on the Faction trade screen, if I bring all the amount sliders to the end, I can buy all of them even if my money drops to 0.

• Some automatically opened tutorials do not register as seen and keep reopening. The Stargate tutorial appears every time I go to a Stargate.

• The game sometimes crashes if multiple enemy ships explode at the same time.

• In the main mission chain, the Jen Cave doesn't spawn on the planet's surface.

• When using the Misactor near a planet, it plays effects as if I landed on the planet, and all the lights in the game turn off, transitioning the game to a dark void.

• After the Alaysia mission, checkpoints are not saved properly. Loading some checkpoints opens a much older save file.

• Despite losing limbs in the gore system, AI continues to move and fight.

• If I re-enter the ship while the cockpit cover opening animation is playing after disembarking from the WRA ship, the ship's cockpit cover remains open.

• Even if I accept a peace treaty from a faction I am at war with, peace is not established. The treaty gets removed from the list, but the interface that shows the wars still indicates that we are at war.

• If I track a main quest, it always sets the 1st quest in the list to track status, and if I track a side quest while a main quest is "tracked", the game tracks both of them at the same time.

• NPCs walking in outposts get stuck and crowd in stairs and narrow spaces, preventing the player from passing through that point.

• In bounty missions, some high-reward bounties are easier than low-reward bounties. (We will revise the bounty system with a completely new mechanic in the upcoming updates, so we have added a temporary solution for now.)

NOTE: Translations for new tasks and dialogues have not been done yet, so the language of new tasks and dialogues is currently only in English. We will add them in the upcoming updates.

Our work on version 3.0 of the game is almost complete.

In order to test the game features more extensively, we will release 3.0 in two parts. The first part will be released next week. It will include an extended main storyline, side quests, balance adjustments, bug fixes, and new major features.

I know many of you are playing Starfield right now :) But if you could take a look at the new update next week and provide feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it.

We have temporarily removed the EvE AI voice chat feature. We will reintroduce it to the game with more enhancements in upcoming updates.

BUG FIXES:


Reported by players as follows :



  • • The Ground character's Dash ability is not working. Pressing the ability shortcut does not trigger any action.
  • • Alpha squad slot interfaces are duplicated. 8 slots appear when I have 4 members spawned.
  • • I'm getting inside a black void when entering a planet.
  • • During a dialogue, if I click a response option both with a left-click and press the space key to advance, the dialogue does not progress.
  • • Sometimes my character falls through the map and gets stuck in an endless loop while attempting to fast travel in space stations. (Only in Falron stations)
  • • If I warp right after the squad warps away, the squad returns to me at the end of the warp.
  • • If a POI (Point of Interest) spawns near a village or other surface structure, the POI distorts the shape of the ground, and buildings either stay in the air or go into the ground.
  • • Adventurer Talent Tier 1 Compressor is not functioning as described.
  • • During AI vs AI encounters, if an AI ship launches a rocket and the target ship explodes before the rocket reaches, the rocket hits the nearest ship (even if it's an ally ship or player).
  • • Enemy AI units that spawn on planetary surfaces sometimes float in space when I leave the planet, not getting destroyed. This causes performance issues during extended gameplay.
  • • After making a docking request at a designated area, if I dock my ship at a location other than the assigned area, the docking indicator remains on the screen.
  • • Activating Holographic Decoy causes ally ships to attack your decoy.
  • • When arriving at a planet, I went under the map and jumped into the city instead of the designated quest point of the Pirate Loot Quest. I exited the planet and retried, but ended up in a Picket Site under the map.
  • • Sometimes when I stand behind AI shooters, they don't see me, and when I hit them with a melee weapon from an invisible angle, they don't aggro. So, the AI takes damage, but they don't attack me.
  • • When looting items from a corpse in a full inventory (cargo), the stack count of the items in the last slot is reset to "1".
  • • If I save/load the game very close to the atmosphere in space, the game starts above the clouds on the planet's surface, and the planet's surface does not load.
  • • Tracked mission changed after loading a save file.

Dear Pilots,

It's been a while since we last shared updates, and we want you to know that we've been hard at work, day and night, on the 3.0 version of our game's main storyline. Your patience and support mean the world to us, and we can't wait to unveil the next chapter of our adventure.

But that's not all! We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Xsens to establish a small mocap studio. This means that we'll be able to bring you AAA-quality animations for the game, making your gaming experience even more immersive and thrilling. However, to ensure the animations are nothing short of perfection, we estimate the completion date to be around September.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. Your enthusiasm and passion for our game inspire us every day. We promise that the wait will be worth it, and we can't wait to share all the new features and enhancements we've been working on.

  • After firing once, the Laser Shotgun enters a loop and continues to fire in rapid succession until the weapon is changed.

  • In the Galaxy map, the keys are switched. They are displayed like this: "E: Set Route" "Q: Inspect"

  • On large ships like trade vessels, the warp effect appears smaller relative to the size of the ship during warp.

  • Some dungeon bosses spawn as Level 2 Tier 2 even in high-level dungeons.

  • • Character Talents screen not providing Perk Points after filling the Perk Point bar
  • • Less Energy Perk is not working
  • • Drone Power perk is not working ( Drone power perk has been changed )
    Note : From now on, each perk point will spawn drones at 1+ higher level. However, in existing save files, the icon and description of this perk will appear as before, but the perk's functionality will still be in effect.
  • • "Dynamic Shield" Ground ability does not Stop Bullets
  • • Loot All shortcut ( F ) does not work if you are not looting from a crate
  • • Sometimes, drop ships do not drop soldiers to the main building while determining tactics.
  • • Character Talents screen missing Attribute Bonus information in Soldier Tree
  • • When I use the "I'm Stuck" feature in the dungeon, the dungeon seed changes and I continue to play from another dungeon.
  • • While fighting in Wex camp, all enemies flee from the map in a very short time.
  • • Mercenary Guild "Hack the Files" missions not advancing next rank meter.
  • • Ship moving with RThumbstick while docking
  • • Bosses that can slow down time keep time slowed for a long time if they are killed right after using their skill. (This problem has been resolved, but you can also bring the time to its normal flow by shooting the time orb.)
  • •The cloud effects in the Galaxy Atlas are causing significant FPS drops and excessive GPU overheating. (Cloud effects have been optimized.)
  • • Text field too small for the text in long sentences in faction path interface
  • • When I press the "lock on" binding on my VKB Gladiator after loading this game, it spawns a bunch of enemies
  • • If I have multiple trade ships, sometimes the slot numbers get mixed up when I change ships in a trade center.
  • •In some contracts (usually side quests), when I press the location section on the Contracts interface to check the mission location, it shows my current location instead of the designated mission location.
  • • Xeghan fighter ship and The Quuen ship both have some positioning issues when warping in the cockpit view
  • • While inspecting the points on the scanner, the toggle raid button remains visible and causes serial bugs when I click it.
  • • Hold "s" to compare tooltip is also visible when there is no item to compare.
  • • In station services the tooltips reach out of the right screen edge when comparing components
  • •Faction flags are appearing incorrectly in the Info Panel of the Scanner interface. In the Falron system, the Morthra flag is displayed.
  • • UI not refreshing/updating newly bought & equipped drones in ship services menu
  • • Drop Ships and other Faction Ships being mixed up on the Faction Operation Planning screen ( the Drone Carrier is behaving like the Drop Ship - both on the UI and graphically on the Planning window)
  • • Laser shotgun fire sound fx is missing
  • • Ground Squad: When I summon the Nova squad somewhere in space, they don't move, they just teleport to me when I move away.
  • • In Kold's bag quest, if I leave the planet without getting the bag, the quest won't progress. I can't land at mission point again.
  • •When performing a sector jump with trade ships, the screens inside the cockpit constantly flicker and shift positions.
  • • Talent Screen stops refreshing, allowing you to buy many perks and get many attributes.
  • • Ship stocks change every time I interact with the ship market
  • • All trade ships are sold for the same money in sell mode.
  • • If the bloom Post process effect is active, the Loot Container Outline becomes too bright.
  • • The guild markets in the explorer guild show items according to the freelancer guild rank. And all the markets in the station have the same item stock.
  • • In some dungeon levels, after killing the boss, I can't go downstairs, only the upper floor buttons are clickable in the elevator.
  • • If the ship I put on the Mothership deck is a drone ship, the drones of the mothership and the drones of the drone ship are mixed (I can spawn 10 drones while piloting the drone ship)
  • • In Cave HQ, in the part where I need to talk to Drane, if I leave HQ without cinematic, the quest won't progress while re-entering HQ.
  • • If I delete all the save files during the game when I log back into the game, I start where I left off, but all my talents and missions are empty.
  • • Sometimes when I activate navigation (Warp drive) on the planet, I don't see surface points, I see warp points in space.
  • • Saving on the Hoverbike caused a black screen when reloading(Save file corrupted when reload)
  • • The footsteps on some surfaces sound different depending on the surface. (There is a sand sound effect when pressing the metal surface)
  • • After warping an asteroid field, the game glitches (stutters) every 3-4 seconds.( We could not reproduce this bug, but we optimized the asteroid fields. We expect that this problem will no longer be encountered.)
  • • I can't find my ship in the game I loaded with Hoverbike, and I can't summon it.
  • • On the planet's surface, if I unpossess on the hoverbike and get on board immediately (within 1-2 seconds), I can't use the ship (controls not working)
  • • If the game crashes when entering a system with Stargate, the last save file becomes corrupted. (EnteringNewSystem.sav)
  • • If I eject from the ship on the planet's surface while the Alpha squad is spawned, the Nova squad spawns automatically, and if I call the Nova squad again the soldiers duplicate.
  • • When I track more than 10 targets from the bounty list, it does not add new targets as contracts but remains as tracked status in the bounty interface.
  • • The 3D view of the Donnarenar model ships on the service panel is distorted/has wrong skin textures.
  • • When you create a character or change the skin preset any scar previously selected is invisible in creation. If you never plan to go with one it will suddenly show in the game even though you did not pick any in creation yourself.
  • • Fire barrels inside Salvage Yards cause performance issues and have super high GPU usage
  • • The AG-Grenades perk does not kill the enemy. The dead effects spawn as if the NPC is dead, but the NPC gets back up and does not die again.
  • • Shotgun shells looted show incorrect bullet numbers. 20 bullets come from the enemy, but 12 bullets are added to the character bag.
  • • Main Sound slider is not updating after exiting and entering the game. It has to be set again every time you enter the game.
  • • Auto-assign Weapons to Group feature sometimes doesn't work or works incorrectly. If I take out all the guns, it fixes itself.
  • •When the "Disable Space Cloud" option is selected in the Settings menu, space clouds appear and disappear repeatedly during warp.
  • • There seems to be no way to get a replacement for the hand mining tool you get when you join the miners guild if you accidentally lose it. ( Misc Tool Guns added to the Guild markets with different tiers)
  • • The game crashes on the Epic Texture setting. (Hundreds of textures have been optimized. We think this change will solve this bug, increase render performance and shorten loading times, but if you still encounter this bug, please let me know..)
  • • The Game Launch Crashes:

Here are the most common crash causes and their solutions that players encounter at the game's startup:

1-First of all please make sure to install Redist (located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceBourne 2\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us).

2- If you have a controller connected to your computer, try disconnecting it (Gamepad or HOTAS).

3- If you have a VKB brand HOTAS, set the virtual buttons to 68. You can find instructions here: (link: https://www.reddit.com/r/hotas/comments/kny1mv/comment/gz2aemj/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button).

4- Delete the "Saved" folder located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\SB2. If you have any save files, you can back up the "SaveGames" folder within the "Saved" folder for later use.

  • • Weapons installed on the ship are now automatically grouped. Players can modify the groups of weapons they have installed on their ship after installation.
  • • In mail missions, the assigned soldier's level and details are now visible in the dropdown menu.
  • • Added a Master Volume slider to the audio settings.
  • • Corpses no longer disappear in ground combat.

  • • Battle warp is very slow.
  • • Unable to stop warp with HOTAS.
  • • Rotating the mothership is too fast with a gamepad or HOTAS.
  • • Cursor remains invisible after building or opening the radial menu.
  • • Inputs can overlap if both gamepad and HOTAS are connected at the same time.
  • • When using a decked ship on the Mothership during battle, Battle Warp does not function and instead performs a regular Warp.
  • • Battle warp sound keeps playing when loading the game during battle warp.
  • • Exploit: Activating Blink ability on top of a fallen enemy grants infinite experience points.
  • • Star systems' content differs from what is shown in the Galaxy Atlas.
  • • Keyboard and mouse buttons are shown in Scanner and Atlas interface pop-up menus.
  • • If different Faction members with the same name are added to the faction, the drag slots overlap during drag-and-drop operations, resulting in null slots.
  • • Certain keys (CTRL and P) are hardcoded and cannot be reassigned.
  • • Aiming/firing guide points (Bullet Guide) to the wrong spot.
  • • Player collisions can occur with severed limbs in the gore system, disrupting the player's physics animations.
  • • Thumb stick inversion applies in character mode but not in ship controls.
  • • If a ship passes near the player while Aim Assist is active, the assist target changes quickly.
  • • The game runs Steam VR at startup.
  • •Some enemy ships spawn outside the boundaries of the battle map during battles and do not participate in combat.
  • • I could fall through the elevator in certain dungeons.

NEW FEATURES & CHANGES


  • • HOTAS support has been rebuilt from scratch, the new system is more stable, offers more settings, and has easier setup.

  • • It is now possible to connect up to 20 devices simultaneously and assign a keymap to each device. Over 200 keys can be added in total.

  • • HOTAS controls now move smoothly, making aiming much easier.

  • • Aim Assist feature has been added to help players aim more comfortably.

    NOTE: We recommend watching the video tutorial in the HOTAS interface before using HOTAS.

  • • Gamepad support has been improved and made more user-friendly. However, full gamepad support is planned for the next update.

  • • New keys and features have been added to facilitate easier control of interfaces with HOTAS and Gamepad.

  • • Foot combat warfare and weapon sounds have been reprogrammed from scratch. In addition to sound effects, weapon and atmospheric sounds generated procedurally based on physics and distance have been added to the game.

  • • A separate audio channel for EVE sound and an on/off slider in the settings menu have been added.

  • • Unable to access HOTAS settings in the main menu.
  • • Cursor remains invisible when transitioning from the radial menu to the main menu.
  • • If I click on bank items in the cargo interface, I cannot move the cursor without pressing LFM again.
  • • Missing Faction hangar in the Allura system, and there are two Faction hangars in the Caraml system.
  • • Misactor cannot collect ore. Ore collected by Misactor is not added to the Misactor inventory.
  • • If I use a stargate according to the route I previously set during a raid, I take over the system I went to at the end of the raid.
  • • Services panel is not visible in the interiors of Faction hangars.
  • • UI does not fully show comparison information in the service menu and does not scale to the visible screen size.
  • • if I disable the warp drive while approaching the mission location, the mission starts, the warp drive gets disabled, and I am unable to reach the mission point.
  • • While the Nova squad is spawned in the Mothership deck area, if I save/load the game, the members of the Nova squad duplicate.
  • • Bounty Board does not refresh with new bounties for players above level 64.
  • • When performing a sector jump while inside a system, if I pass very close to a planet, I both land on the surface of the planet and the sector jump effect plays in the background.
  • • When calling a Hoverbike in a tight space, the Hoverbike spawns on top of the player, and the player cannot move.
  • • Gamepad sensitivity settings are not working correctly or not working at all.
  • • When transitioning from third-person camera to FPS after boarding a ship, the camera remains inside the ship at the pivot point.
  • • Sometimes, when selling stacks of different ore types, the stack numbers occasionally change.
  • • If the character enters ragdoll state (falls to the ground from a melee hit) and I use the jetpack, the character starts continuously spinning around.
  • • In the mission to establish a ship factory for WRA, if I close the game without saving after constructing the factory when I load the game, the mission appears as updated but the factory is not actually built.
