We have another major update today. The focus of this update was performance, especially performance while flying in space. All in all you should find that the FPS has nearly doubled in a lot of scenarios and up to 4 times higher while flying in space.
We have one more performance update in the works that should make the game also have butter smooth performance on higher 4k resolutions coming soon.
In addition this update includes fixes to last few issues across the board that were reported over the past week.

Update 80 - Offline Solo Milestone Update - Live!
Hey Everyone,
We are happy to bring you the 80th milestone update – now we can confidently say that all the games main features are complete and working well. With this foundation update out of the way we are returning to updating the game every couple of days – starting to roll-out new content, and final fixes and quality of life improvements.
To go over the main feature of this milestone update: offline singleplayer with optional CoOp mode, hosting games doesn`t require MySQL installation, Italian and Spanish translations, performance improvements and fixes to the last two dozen know bugs. Full details are bellow.
We have also updated all the game servers to the new format and naming. To locate your old server - just look for the number in the (), for example "Global 0 - PvE" that most of the players were playing on is now "Global Server 2 - (0)"
Please keep in mind that with update this large we expect some new minor issues that we`ll work on addressing over the next couple of days.

Milestone Update Incoming & February Plans
Hey Everyone,
It`s been a busy weekend, and today we are putting finishing touches on our 80th milestone update. Sorry it`s taken us a bit longer than anticipated, but we can`t wait to finally share is with you. We are starting to roll out this update using steam beta mode. However - if you don`t know your way around setting up mySQL (it will no longer require mySQL in about 48 hours) and want to wait until it`s all well and done - please allow us couple more days before everything is nice and ready.
Now lets go over some features of this upcoming update:

February Plans
Thanks for your continuous support, we can`t wait to finally reach this milestone together. With offline singleplayer finally out of the way, all the major components of the game will be complete. At that point we`ll take another week resolving last of the gameplay bugs. After that - a week will be spend on making the game work much better on Steamdeck and various controllers. And finally after that we are starting to roll out major new content. New vehicles, new NPCs, territorial warfare, improving other planets and greatly improving graphics.
As I mentioned update is already available in Steam beta mode, BUT keep in mind that current versionstill requires MySQL to be setup. In beta mode you can still see both the Solo Offline and new Hosted menu working together. Beta update also allows you to launch the game with steam offline, and play it without internet. HOWEVER - as I mentioned you sill had to have MySQL setup for all this to work.
Update 79 - Full Crafting and World Interaction Redesign
Hey Everyone,
We have a major update that greatly reworks how players interacts with the game world as well as brings reworked crafting interface and includes other major GUI and gameplay changes. You will notice this in every action you make in the game – from looting to gathering or crafting. This update also includes a dozen bug fixes, more translation polish, some visual improvements and more.
And great news - next milestone update 80 will finally bring offline singleplayer, as well as a way to host games for your friends without the need for installing MySQL. Please keep in mind we are expecting this update to go into beta mode towards the weekend for our players to try, and be fully released early next week.

Update 78 - Major Balancing and Improvements

We have a major update today bringing a large number of fixes, major gameplay balance re-balancing for crafting, first of the level design updates to places like orbital stations and Janson planet, and redesign of the navigation point system.
In addition – as we prepare to finally launch offline solo, we have included the back-end code with this live client update – making sure it doesn`t effect anything in-game. We will be enabling offline solo in a steam beta testing most for players who want to participate later this week.

We have one more super busy week ahead as we get finally ready to release solo offline for our 80th update. And we have one more major update 79 coming later this week with some very good fixes and improvements.

Full redesign of the time consuming grinding elements of the crafting system
Crafting most items is significantly faster now
Fully reworked Merchant system – merchants will now buy every good that they sell - plus some others
Major redesign of navigation points system
Players will now see their vehicles and claims from anywhere in the star system
Fixed a lot of issues with players being unable to find their parked vehicles
Fixed issue where player death loot will not be visible – player can now always see location of death loot
Death loot will now stay on the server for 10 days
Crafting sound when in a vehicle, ferry or a horse will now properly end
Fixed issues with crafting sounds continuing playing after crafting is complete
Fixed various issues with base doors being closed or open wrongly.
Fixes for getting random oil containers when crafting
Crystal Shards are now minable on Janson with pickaxe or grazer

Update 77 – Improvements and Translation
Hey Everyone,
We are back with another update which brings a lot fixes and improvements. From being able to claim vehicles anywhere in the game world, to reworked spaceship landing sequence resolving to a lot of bug fixes and getting rid of last issues including moving or splitting items.
Special attention has also been given to translation, since we have so many non-English speaking players join our community.
You can expect one more large update this weekend fixing dozens of remaining outstanding issues, and with that out of the way we plan to fully focus on offline multiplayer for next week for our 80th milestone update. Once that`s done we`ll focus on quality-of-life improvements, better graphics, new equipment and vehicles, and a lot of new content for mid to late game. All of this is coming our way over the next couple of weeks.
