This week, we have completely redesigned the animator of soldiers. Now soldiers can use a variety of weapons. And that brings us closer to the implementation of the camp, in which we will manage our squad before mission .

As a demonstration of the new features of animator we implemented melee weapons.

Unfortunately we do not have much time to fix all visual artifacts appeared in animation, so the new build will be published only in the test branch.





To switch to this version you should go to the Steam library, open properties window by right click on the Steam Squad game, pick betas tab and select opentest option.

  • The performance of pathfinder algorithm was improved
  • Overwatch zones was totally remade (do you like new zones?)

We fixed some problems in the fog of war, and now it is available in the public build.

Your soldiers now can go down and climb out of the trench in public version too. With animation now, of course . In the next release, they also will jump over fences and sacks.

Soldiers are now can crouch by themselves and it not cost any AP. Say not for unnecessary micromanagement!

In addition, we have added metadata at cursor, as you have long requested.

Test mode of the 0.50.3b version

Hi, guys!

We made a test vesion of the 0.50.3b release.
It have the only difference - you can pick any level you want to play.
But I warn you that it can affect your progress in the original campaign.
