"Pit of the Damned" is the first playable DLC for Aeterna Noctis, and it will take us to explore a new area full of new challenges, new enemies, and, of course, a new and fearsome final boss. The images show the King of Darkness making his way through some catacombs featuring our classic puzzle and level design. Apparently, an ancient evil claims the monarch's presence in that crypt... The visuals speak for themselves, and the DLC feels more Aeterna Noctis than ever! Its launch is scheduled for early 2023.
Summum Aeterna Launch
Summum Aeterna will end its Early Access period at the end of 2023, with a simultaneous release on PC and PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles. Our Roguelite title will continue to receive new updates such as new worlds, more weapons, and even more challenges over the next few months until its final release at the end of 2023. Aeterna Lucis
Our fandom had been theorizing for a while about a possible sequel to their favorite Metroidvania. The jewel in the crown during the showcase was a brief, but long-awaited announcement… The confirmation that Aeterna Lucis, the sequel to Aeterna Noctis, is currently under development. We haven't revealed more details for now except 2024 as the launch window. Are you excited?
In conclusion, 2023 is full of surprises for lovers of the Aeterna Universe. A DLC for Aeterna Noctis at the beginning of the year, the multiplatform and simultaneous release of Summum Aeterna at the end of 2023, and the highly anticipated sequel Aeterna Lucis for 2024.

Players will now need to beat all bosses of a certain seed of a certain level and difficulty to unlock the next one
By accessing a new difficulty level, the maximum level of seed that the player can access will be increased and in addition, new genes, NPCs, characteristics and seeds will be unlocked, increasing the content available.
The difficulty of a seed is determined by its level and the number of "Skulls" it has. The more "Skulls" you own, the more difficult the world you generate

"Demons' Mother" Update is available now!
Summum Aeterna releases its first major update called "Mother of Demons", now available on Steam and packed with new content for the Roguelite from the creators of Aeterna Noctis.
Following in the footsteps of our roadmap, we've just released the first of many updates to extend the content for our latest project. "Mother of Demons" is the name of this first major update which adds many hours of fun to the adventures of the King of Darkness in Roguelite format. Here you can see the teaser:

Gameplay:
Changed the radius and improved the visual effect of the "Unleashed Plague" upgrade on the scythe
Added a visual effect on enemies and the King when affected by status ailments
The "Frozen" ailment can now also affect the King

The buff duration of the "Spirit of the Executioner" scythe has been changed from 1 to 2 seconds per executed enemy
Changed the health recovery gained by the "Healing Grim Reaper" scythe from +0.5% to +0.2% per rarity level to balance it with the other weapons
The attack speed calculation on the swords has been modified to balance them with the other weapons
Fixed King sword attack animations bugs when attack speed was increased
