Release 0.3.4 - Release Notes

Another patch approaches!

The team fixed a few bugs and made some balance tweaks to Ian's Squire class and Faye's Cleric class.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed some grammar mistakes in the first town.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Faye to earn dice as her Cleric class while she was dead in combat.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Brutal Strike to miss if enemies had no marks.
  • Fixed the physical positioning of several enemy parties in the desert area.

Balance:

  • The Squire ability "Battle Shout" was entirely too powerful, and allowed Ian to spam Barrier and MP across the party at no cost if executed properly. Battle shout now no longer restores MP to party members, but successful action commands now refund the MP cost to Ian.
  • The Squire ability "Improved Shout" now no longer gives an MP recovery bonus
  • Faye's Cleric dice generation was too generous, and the cap of dice that can be accrued has been limited to 6 (down from 10). Don't worry, she can still kick butt.

Other stuff:

  • Some behind the scenes stuff in prep for 0.4.0

More fun stuff coming soon! As always, thanks for your continued support!

Good evening!

This weekend we some time at the Too Many Games convention in Oaks, PA. Thanks to the feedback and playtime of the folks kind enough to visit our booth, we found a few bugs in our latest patch which we've fixed this evening. This should resolve a few class-related issues and some intermittent crashes.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a crash that would occur when certain particle effects would play outside of combat.
  • Fixed a bug where Bera's Booze Hound class would heal dead party members in combat

Balance/Damage fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where damage was being calculated wrong for Bera's Hotshot class.
  • Reduced the number of dice that Faye's Cleric class was generating without passive skills.
