Endless Scouts and Waves

Now the amount of Scouts and Waves that can happen are endless. There will always be Scouts to alert others and start a Wave, even after a Wave has been defeated. I wasn’t able to properly test this, let me know how it goes please.


Bugs fixed and Improvements made

  • Fixed Machete Stabbing Bug.
  • Increased damage of stabs.
  • Decreased amount of information sent through the network when first starting the game, decreasing the lag.
  • When there were at least 2 players playing, sometimes the lights would turn off, or if the Host left the server, the lights wouldn’t turn at all. That was fixed.
  • There will always be Scouts in the Maze now, even after a Wave. So Waves can always happen until the player can manage to Exit.
  • Made opponents body parts more resistance, except the Head.

Hurt feedback, better stabbing, still with network items bug.


⚔🎇🌟First of all, I would like to welcome all the new adventurers and Maze delvers!⚔🎇🌟

I messed around with the network items bug and it seems to be working better except when loading mags/clips into guns, and especially if you give your loaded gun to another player, I’m working on fixing that.

Also, today after a long time I played with 3 players, and it was very laggy, so not sure if in the future the game will continue supporting up to 3 players, however for the next week or 2 I will be working on bugs, optimization and quality of life. Talking about quality of life, please be patient regarding the sockets/pockets, the game in the future will change how it works, since I might transition this into a RPG instead of a Rogue Lite, that means that weapons might be fixed for each player, and if the player grabs their pistol, only the pistol ammo will appear, just like Boneworks or Onward.

Bugs fixed and Improvements made


  • Improved stabbing opponents, sometimes opponents will still glitch a little, specially while trying to get up while being stabbed. However now if you stab an opponent, it will stop whatever they are doing and after a while they will move away from you while removing the blade from them.


  • Also wherever the opponent is damaged, they will put their hands on the wound, giving a realistic feedback.




  • Made shotgun pump harder to pump.
  • Made opponents run faster towards players and spawn closer, so there will be less delay of opponents coming towards the players.
  • Made opponents ring the alarm about 10 to 20% faster.

Change Gameplay Settings during Runs



Bugs fixed and Improvements made


  • Now it's possible to change Gameplay Settings during Runs, such as setting the grab item mode to toogle or hold, blood, haptics and character voice/grunts.
  • Made the in game menu bigger and easier to read.
  • Set the Ultra Graphic settings pixels from 1.1 to 1.05.
  • Part of the blood stream liquid physics after destroying opponents body parts seemed to be "attached" to the opponent, moving in an unnatural way.
  • Decreased all Melee damage by about 40% (remembering that in the future I will make bullets way harder to get).

Main Bug fixes, Improvements and Changes.


  • Fixed player hands jumping around and making a ton of noise when colliding with objects.
  • Changed a little how the sockets/pockets work. For a player, the sockets will have a glass sphere appearance(Got the idea from Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Handgrenades). For the other player, it will actually look like the player has the gun “attached” to his hips. Making it look better instead of having it floating slightly in front of them.






  • Added better opponent hit reactions
  • Added added optimized blocking









  • Added new Themes, Ruins and Bowling Playcenter, and made the old scene have a "Green" vibe to it
  • Now scene have Lights!
  • This caused the FPS to drop a lot, so now lights will only activate if player is in view of it.











  • Making combat starts more realistic and coming in waves if scouts are able to alert everyone.
  • Make opponents more numerous however much easier to kill.
  • Added stealth system.
  • Music has been added 🎶🎵🎼



Other bug fixes, Improvements and Changes.

  • For guns such as AR15s(American style rifle), the player has to use the Trigger button to cock it, otherwise if there is a sight on the gun, the player will keep grabbing the Sight instead of the cocking handle.
  • Changed a little how the sockets/pockets work. For a player, the sockets will have a glass sphere appearance(Got the idea from Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Handgrenades). For the other player, it will actually look like the player has the gun “attached” to his hips. Making it look better instead of having it floating slightly in front of them.
  • Made arms longer for long limbed bois and girls.
  • Made crouch height shorter and faster.
  • Fixed one of Shaman attacks being too fast.
  • Made opponent attack rate slower.
  • Fixed spider sometimes not dealing damage.
  • Made opponent ragdoll less “floppy”.
  • Big improvement on opponents ragdoll, no more springy or floppy body parts.
  • Fixed bug of non hosts not being able to kill opponents..
  • Made opponents side step less.
  • Opponent now will sometimes drop their weapons on death. (However you can't pick it up).
  • Made socket/pockets glass material have shadow, so it’s easier to see the difference between the lower pockets and the one around the chest area.
  • Added bullet effects for the end portal room.
  • Fixed stabbing bug.
  • Fixed two handed goblin getting feet stuck on ground(Let me know if the two handed goblin bugs again please).
  • Fixed opponent vocal distance sound playing incorrectly.
  • Decreased spinning attack speed of the goblin and orc shield wielder.
  • Fixed opponents mini dashes whenever they switch from combat to chasing mode.
  • Made the Maze tighter.
  • Made opponents turn faster, because sometimes they were running into walls(they still kinda do a little).
  • Decrease the brightness by 50%.
  • I believe I fixed the issue of opponents standing in front of the player instead of attacking. I think that issue only happened to the Goblins with the shield, and I believe this was fixed.
  • Fixed rain sometimes dropping at the Starting Scene or the Exit Room.
  • Added in the Tutorial Scene that the players have to look for the Key Valve and Exit.
  • Improved the network ragdoll system.
  • Fixed height of where the rain was dropping.
  • Now players will pick up coins simply by getting closer to it.
  • Ranged opponents now stay a longer distance from you.
  • Finally fixed opponents just standing in front of the player without attacking.
  • Medkits weren’t reviving other players if the player had the “Grunt” sounds disabled(very silly bug).
  • Fixed ragdoll getting stuck and ragdolling everywhere(I at least hope, the spider has been very difficult to deal with)
  • Had to remove spider from the Tutorial scene, because the ragdoll is buggy.
  • Added material collision to a number of different things and decorationgs.
  • Fixed items falling from pockets/sockets not being able to be picked after other players have been knocked out.
  • Fixed shotguns not pumping sometimes.
  • Decreased light intensity of lamps in the school area.
  • Added different running and unique animations for opponents.
  • Decreased opponents speed a little.
  • Fixed opponents sometimes spawning near a player if they were in different parts of the Maze while playing coop.
  • Made Menu buttons a little further apart from each other.
  • Changed Act 1 name to “Green Orcs’Den”.
  • Decreased Thunder and Rains sounds volume by about 15%
  • Added water splash impact effect to rainy grounds.
  • Fixed annoying static sound for a video in the Tutorial Scene.
  • Fixed sometimes looking outside the Ruins there would be a lane without floor.
  • Fixed if Exit was right next to the Ruins, the walls of the End Room Exit could be seen from the Ruins and a big part of the wall from the Ruins would be inside the End Room Exit.
  • Fixed some rocks in the Ruins scene blocking the path.
  • Made that the further the player is delving into the Maze, the longer the waves will last.

Will take a week to work on small things, such as fixing the grabbables network issues. If you have played this game online, you have probably seen items that you have difficulty grabbing.

Boost of about 25% in performance and new Bowling Playcenter Theme added!

Lights will now only activate when there is a clear view to the player, that way I can add even more lights to the scene while decreasing the fps performance. Very happy about this.

Also added a new Theme, the Bowling Playcenter! You can grab the bowling balls, hit some strikes, hit some goblins, it’s great!





Also regarding the vote to see how the Themes were gonna work in the future, the results came out at 50/50:



However after talking with The Council, it was decided that the early parts of the Maze, the Themes were gonna be more blended, and the further it got, the more chaotic the Themes would get. It was a nice compromise.

Improved Stealth System



Now when opponents see players, a suspense sound will play, and if player doesn’t hide away, the scouts will sound the alarm. If player is crouching, it opponent will take longer to detect the player.
