Version 0.5.16b Release: Hero Pack 4 (Beta Branch)

Build version 0.5.16b, Hero Pack 4, is now available on the Beta Branch. This update contains 3 new wanderer heroes for you to find, some new enemies to battle in the special missions, and some bugfixes and balance adjustments.

How do I download the Beta Branch?


Opting into a Beta branch is easy on Steam. Simply right click Time Break Chronicles in your Library, select Properties, and then click "Betas." From there you can select the Beta branch from the dropdown, and Steam will download the files for you. You do not need to enter a beta access code.

This patch fixes some recently reported bugs, and includes a couple of balance updates.

This patch fixes some recently reported bugs and odd interactions, addresses some balance items, and adds a couple of new features.

  • Added a game difficulty option for Chronicle mode that can be changed from the ESC menu (except in battle). This scales enemy attributes up/down, and adds more stamina loss at higher difficulties

  • Reworked Devil's Devil's Mark skill to focus more on DoT than instant damage

Version 0.5.13 Release: Hellfire

Version 0.5.13 has officially left the beta branch and is now in the stable branch! We'd like to thank everyone who downloaded the beta and provided feedback and bug reports. You do not need to unsubscribe from the beta branch if you are currently using it, as both beta and stable branches have been updated. Now, on to the details.



There are quite a few additions, updates, and fixes from the last stable version, 0.4.15, listed below.

New Content and Major Updates from 0.4.15



  • A new act, with new enemy types, relics, encounters, and continuation of Claire's story
  • A new form for Claire to unlock after completing Act 3
  • A new Time Break tech to discover
  • 15 new heroes to find and unlock, bringing the total available to 76!
  • New heroes and enemies also added to Singularity mode
  • Skills granted by Relics can now reach level 3 with the appropriate town upgrade

  • Alcohol skills now have a stack limit of 5 by default, but Big Dan can stack them infinitely

Patch version 0.5.12b (Beta Branch)

This patch adds the new Act 4 enemies and encounters to Singularity mode and addresses a few bug reports. This is likely the final beta branch patch before we release this build to the Stable branch, assuming no other major issues are reported.
