  • You can now prevent a tower from leveling up by holding Shift and right-clicking it. This is not recommended in most cases. You can make the tower level up again by doing the same. A new indicator has also been added to let you know that the tower can't level up. This shortcut is also mentioned in the in-game tips also added in this patch.

Here's a small patch bringing back the tutorial prompt upon the first startup and an additional protection against save file corruptions! Have a great day!

  • Now when you boot up the game for the first time and hit "Play", a small prompt will appear recommending the player to play the tutorial. The tutorial has always existed (and was always playable through the options menu), but the prompt on the first startup didn't appear for some time. Now it's back!



  • Save file backup: Now the game checks on startup if there is a valid save file and creates a backup of it. If the save file gets deleted for some reason (most commonly due to an error when synchronizing with Steam Cloud), the game should load the backup on the next startup.

Hi everyone! I've been busy this last month working on the next game by AsraWorks! I hope to reveal it very soon! Updates will still come for Tower Tactics though, just at a lower pace. Have a great day!

Highlights



  • Two of the same trinket can no longer appear in shops.
  • Card cost in shops: [25, 55] -> [20, 30] Cards shouldn't be so expensive!
  • When enemies receive damage just after spawning, they now teleport to the first 2% of the path instead of the first 5%. This wasn't a bug, and it's main purpose was letting the player see the enemies that were being killed when they reach an overpowered state, but 5% was too much.
  • Earthquake no longer shakes the screen when firing.

Survival mode now has an autosave function! When the game detects there is a saved survival run, a continue button appears in the main menu. If survival sometimes crashes for you, you'll be able to continue the run you had, and if it crashes after continuing, it will be a lot easier for me to find the cause if you send me your save file!

  • Survival mode now has stronger difficulty scaling. Also, early game in Survival has been made a bit easier. The most noticeable difficulty spikes are at minutes 5, 10 and 15. Remember that officially you "win" survival mode at minute 10, hence the achievements!

  • Delirium mana cost: 2 -> 4
