UI Updates
Added an icon to the Recycle Shrine to show when you can undo an action.
Added undo reminder for players who might have missed or forgotten the feature from the tutorial.
Card Updates
‘Shape Elements’ – Reduced cost to 0 (from 1).
‘Bone Wolf’ (Hunter) – Increased Health to 5 (from 4).
Upgrade Changes
‘Armoured Advance +’ – Upgrade now gives +1 Movement and +1 Defence.
‘Chaos Missiles +’ – Upgrade now increases range by +1.
‘Multi Shot +’ – Upgrade now increases damage by +2.
‘Fireball +’ – Upgrade now increases Burning stacks to 2.
‘Flame Fan +’ – Upgrade now increases damage by +1.
‘Grapple +’ – Upgrade now increases damage by +1.
‘Lightning Bolt +’ – Upgrade now increases damage by +1.
‘Battle Stance +’ – Upgrade now provides an additional +1 to damage, but only 6 Defence (down from 8).
‘Sun Fire +’ – Upgrade now increases damage by +4.
‘Arcing Shot +’ – Upgrade now deals 4-8 damage.
‘Ricochet Shot +’ – Upgrade now deals 5-8 damage.
‘Critical Strike +’ – Upgrade now deals an extra +3 damage.
‘Aimed Shot +’ – Upgrade now deals an extra +3 damage.
‘Grit +’ – Upgrade now grants an extra +2 Defence.
‘Signal Shot +’ (Hunter) – Upgrade now increases damage by 2.
‘Overwatch +’ (Hunter) – Upgrade now increases damage by 2.
‘Static Discharge +’ (Elementalist) – Upgrade now increases damage by +1.
‘Inspiring Strike +’ (Warlord) – Upgrade now increases damage by +1.

‘Distract +’ (Alchemist) - Upgrade now gives +1 Movement and +1 Defence.

‘Carapace +’ (Spirit Speaker) – Upgrade now grants an extra stack of Protected instead of an extra card.
Balance Changes
‘Green Dragon’ - Increased Acid inflicted by passive to 2 (from 1).
‘Death Guards’ - Increased health.
‘Planar’ – Reduced health.

Card Updates
‘Rage’ – Updated effect to ‘Draw 2 cards. Add an Exhausted card to the top of your deck.’
‘Force Field’ – Reduced Defence to 2 (from 3).
‘Uncanny Defence’ – Increased Defence to 2-6 (from 2-5).

This week’s update contains a big change to Defence to provide defensive options to go with the Power change from before xmas.
Also, a couple of nerfs to some over-tuned Tier 4 bosses.

Defence Changes
Unspent, Recycled cards now provide 2 Defence instead of 1.
The ‘Defend’ card has been removed from all Heroes’ starting decks and replaced with cards appropriate to that class.
IMPORTANT: Weakness cards now provide no defence when recycled and will always be spent 1st when spending recycled cards for Willpower or movement.
Card Changes
‘Force Field’ – Now provides 3 Defence (up from 2).
‘Demonic Pact’ – Provides 2 Willpower (up from 1).
‘Resilience’ (Warrior) – Provides 3 Defence per turn (up from 2) and 3 Defence when played.
‘Bulwark’ (Warrior) – Provides 7 Defence (up from 6).
‘Revulsion’ (Witch) – Provides 3 Defence (up from 2).
Boss Balance Changes
‘Red Dragon’ – Reduced cards per turn by 1.

Merry Christmas everyone,
This Christmas update includes a big change to the way Powers work in game to prevent multiple Powers on a single Hero protecting each other.
Also some fun Christmas cosmetics (which you can disable in the options menu if you would prefer!).

Power Changes
Powers now no longer come with an inherent Defence bonus.
This is to keep things a bit simpler and to and to prevent additional Powers from protecting existing ones.
Card Changes
All class focus cards (Adrenaline, Cantrip etc.) – Increased Resilience to 8.
‘Resilience’ (Warrior) – Increased Resilience to 8.
‘Iron Skin’ – Increased Resilience to 6.
‘Elite’ – Decreased cost to 1 (from 2).
‘Reach’ – Increased cost to 1, Resilience to 5 and changed effect to, ‘When an enemy moves into an adjacent space, draw a card.’
‘Battle Stance’ – Updated effect to, ‘All Attacks deal +2 Damage. On Play: Defend 3.’
‘Take Aim’ (Hunter) – Increased cost to 1 and changed effect to, ‘All attacks on a single target deal bonus damage equal to the Resilience of this Power. After attacking, this Power loses 1 Resilience.’
‘Supported’ (Hunger) – Increased Resilience to 4.
‘Stalk+’ – Changed upgraded effect to, ‘Adjacent enemies do not prevent you from performing Combo Strikes.’
‘Overload’ (Elementalist) – Reduced Resilience to 4.
‘Abjuration+’ – Changed upgraded effect to ‘On Play: Defend 3.’
‘Lethality’ (Assassin) – Reduced Resilience to 4.

This week’s update focuses on a bit more boss balancing to even out the ‘Trial of Fire’ mode. Also, we’re trying out a much-requested feature to aid in exploring the Glasslands.

Mini Map
Added a mini map to aid in exploration.
Will show the surrounding geography.
Large structures (ruins/towns) will be shown on the map.
Smaller encounters will not show up so look out for these as you travel.
Boss Changes
Increased difficulty of ALL bosses above Tier 1 a bit.
Lowered ‘Lurker’ difficulty.
Increased ‘Green Dragon’ difficulty.
Increased ‘Blue Dragon’ difficulty.
Card Changes
‘Equality’ (Warlord) – Changed name to ‘Tenacity’ and updated effect to, ‘Gain +1 damage to all attacks per named effect stack on this character.’

Good afternoon all,
This week’s update focuses on balancing difficulty a bit across the adventure. Some changes here to make it easier to come back from a couple of bad battles without overly rewarding players who get through unscathed.
Also a couple of new Class Cards and boss updates to look out for.

Adventure Progress
These changes have been made to make it a bit easier to recover from a bad situation without it snowballing out of control.
After completing an objective, each Hero recovers some health and heals a single random injury.
Reduced food and herb rewards at the objective to compensate.
Moving on roads now speeds up party movement.
Boss Changes
‘Lurker’
Burrow ability now triggers after taking 15% of starting health damage. So it is less stop-start at higher difficulty levels.
Added a tracker (hover over the Lurker) to see how much damage still to go.
‘Lurker Tentacles’ now activate on the turn they are spawned as they used to – updated the wording to make this clearer.
‘Blue Dragon’
Changed defensive ability to be a flat ‘Melee, Ranged and Magic Resist 1.’ This serves the same purpose as the previous ability (encouraging big hits), but hopefully less frustrating to play with.
Increased health a bit to compensate.
Cataclysm 6
Cataclysm 6 bonus is now ‘Bosses gain an additional 15% health per Tier,’ so health bonus ramps up the later they appear in the adventure. (Tier 1 bosses now have less health).
Card Changes
Added new class card for the Elementalist and Witch to help with weaker play-styles.
‘Icefire Aura’ (Elementalist) – Changed effect to ‘Whenever an adjacent enemy gains Burning, they also gain Chilled, and vice-versa.’ This is to make this ability simpler to understand and allow you to trigger it multiple times a turn for maximum effectiveness.

Trial of Fire Mode
Custom game mode has been rebranded to ‘Trial of Fire’.
This mode is now the main mode and includes leaderboards for different game lengths.
Trying to make this the ‘go-to’ mode for replaying over and over again.
You can choose between Short (2 objectives), Standard (3 objectives) and Long (4 objectives) depending on how long you have to play.
Will be focused on balancing all the bosses for fun and difficulty and making this mode as replayable as possible leading up to 1.0 release.
