Get ready to Penetrate! Update: The NAILGUN!

Finally, after long last, the Nailgun is finally here!

New Weapon: The Nailgun!
This new beast is the first heavy weapon in the player's arsenal. It shoots heavy nails that penetrate through multiple enemies in a straight line. The secondary fire mode is a grenade launcher that explodes in a devestating blast. This weapon is more powerful than the other weapons and cannot be taken as a starting weapon. It comes with new Weapon Mods and a new Trinket slot that can hold one of the 7 new Trinkets to increase this already powerful killing machine. Have fun :)

The Nailgun is almost complete! Only a few things are missing like Weapon Mods and Trinkets, but I wanted to show you the weapon in action as soon as possible, so here is a quick video demonstration :)

Nailgun Coming Soon



My artist and I are currently working on the Nailgun! This will be the first heavy weapon that makes it into the game. If nothing stops us, we will have it ready for you within a week. It has two fire modes, one shoots heavy nails and the other shoots a grenade that explodes into... more nails :)

Besides that, I've updated the game yesterday. I've added a new Death Cam, which is a fancy term for spectator mode after you're dead. This feature was commonly requested and I hope you like it :)

New Update! Twisted Mode, Ranks and more...

In this update, I've added three new major things.

First, you can now play the game in a "twisted map" mode. Here, you will get a map that is arranged from rooms that are taken from every Location in the game, instead of just one particular. This makes the game incredibly unpredictable and the new randomly colored fog gives your unique creation a very eerie feeling.

Next are the Ranks. You can now unlock Ranks that can be seen by other players in multiplayer. Besides these Ranks, you can see all your statistics now in a new menu under "Unlockables".

And finally, I've added several users from the Steam community to the Credits of the game! If you have helped me in the past to make the game better, chances are that your name is in the credits now. If you don't want your name attached to the game, let me know and I'll remove it.

New Update! Added Clinic Room Layout

After taking a little break, I'm now back and ready for more action! To start things off, I've added a new Clinic room layout and updated the HOT MODE game mechanics slightly to be smoother to play with. Let me know what you think of the controls!

Update! Custom Input Support + HOT MODE

Two major things going on! No, actually three!
First off - a long awaited feature by many has finally made it into the game: custom input support! You can now rebind your keyboard and gamepad keys and buttons to match your desired comfort. Currently there is a small issue with rebinding mouse input, but this is already being worked on.

Also a new game mode is introduced: Hot Mode. It's the most innovative game mode in years. Time moves only when you move! Enemies are a lot stronger now, but you can use slow motion to do epic maneuvers to dodge them now.

And the third major thing is that UNLOVED got a lot of performance upgrades! It now runs on the latest Unreal Engine version, which is heavily optimized on performance and I've added a new blood counter to fix performance issues when every wall is covered in blood.

New Video: Custom Controls + HOT Mode!

Today I wanted to show you the latest update. I am currently holding off from uploading it to Steam because of some issues that can hopefully be fixed soon.

The first major new thing is customizable controls! Yay! Finally I've found a working solution that lets players change their keyboard and gamepad layout! There are currently a few issues with it still that can hopefully be fixed until I release this update. Besides that I'm showing the new HOT Mode, which I really like. It brings a brand new element to the game and gives you something different to play for a change.

All feedback is appreciated :)

New Update: The ROTTEN

The Rotten have risen from the darkest depths and they only have one goal: to end you. They are of unspeakable terror and the most dangerous enemies you will face. You have been warned.

Rotten enemies will only spawn on higher difficulty settings. You have nothing to worry if you are inexperienced ;)

Also: New Difficulty setting: UNEARTHLY!
Enemies have a new surprise for you... you are already dead.

Everybody in the Basement!

Another small hotfix update has just been finished. After seeing the community feedback about the level restriction of the Basement, I've decided to lift the restriction completely and make the Basement now available to everyone, no matter the player level :)

There are also new adjustments that make the game less grindy in the beginning, so that new players have a faster way of getting new Trinkets and higher player levels.

New Balance Update

After the latest huge content upgrade, there are a lot of new factors that need extra care when tweaking the balance. For that reason, I've released a new update today that will tune a few things for a better experience. The Silenced Machine Pistol has some of it's firepower restored and the overall Monster spawn balance has been tweaked to be challenging but not unbeatable.
