WARBOX 0.0.3.8

You may notice characters are able to take significant damage before dying. It's part of the new medical system that I'm still working on. Instead of a set health value and a character dying when the value reaches 0, character health uses a new vital system that is still early in the works. Remember this is TEMPORARY. In the meantime, have fun lighting characters up with a massive amount of bullets.

FPS SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS



What you see in this video is procedural recoil and procedural weapon sway. This video also shows off the AKM-S rifle which will be included in 0.0.3.6 which is part of my effort to remake and readd a lot of the content from Unreal Engine 4 Warbox into Unreal Engine 5 Warbox.

STEAM WORKSHOP DETAILS



I am also working on Steam Worskhop Integration into Warbox. This will take a lot of time to get done because this involves reworking some of the systems in Warbox to be compatible with Steam Workshop. That being said I cannot guarantee that Steam Workshop Integration will be included in the 0.0.3.6 update.

IMPORTANT NOTES


So, I've recently made huge discoveries looking for the problems that cause low frames per second. The main culprit I've always known was the facial animations and skeleton. I've finally found a way to massively increase fps by creating an automatic system that disables facial animations when a character is far away. I've also added a setting that lets players decide if they even want to use facial animations at all. It is up to the player if they want to get the most fps out as possible or stick with the new system that I've added.

This change has displayed a 30fps increase on my end. I would love to get feedback on this. Let me know in the discussions if this update helped your performance.
