After extinguishing the Inferno, a new threat looms on the horizon. Season of the Warp Surge, the latest content update for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor is here! Heretics are still rampaging across the Caligari Sector, and an agent of the Emperor is needed to investigate - and strike down on - them. Be careful where you step, though! Warp anomalies might pop up anywhere, and, by the nature of the Warp, you'll never know what will happen next. Will you be granted power beyond measure, or will you have to face enemies of immense strength?

Based on your feedback about our previous seasonal ladder, we've also reworked several things, including the co-op experience, the inventory, and Tarot Cards. Curious to find out more? Read the patch notes below!
New features
Co-Op matchmaking got removed and replaced by a reworked Recruitment panel:
Using Recruitment will allow players to create their own lobbies
In order to launch a Co-op mission at least 2 players are required to be in a lobby
The host of the lobby can set the following:
The minimum player level. Players below that level won't be able to join
The name of the lobby
The mission type (Tarot, Intel, Warzone and Starmap missions along with Priority Assignments can be set)
The difficulty level of the mission - 6 different levels available
Lobbies won't be disbanded after the players return to the Command Bridge from a mission
Two new Stasis Casket tabs will be available for players
One tab will be granted upon completing Tier 3 in Season of the Warp Surge
The other one will be granted if one links their in-game account with their Neocore Account. If one already has their accounts linked, this tab will automatically appear in their Stasis Casket
By pressing Ctrl + Mouse2, even a full stack of Tarot Card consumables can be activated immediately. This is indicated in the tooltip of the cards as well.
The level 70 restriction on Starmap missions was removed. Mission level will now scale up to level 107 and the maximum mission level reachable with Tarot cards will be 118
Intel missions can now be abandoned on the Mission Deployment window
From now on, clicking on locked features under the Modify tab will redirect the player to the Tech Tree and the corresponding Tech option will be highlighted
The Mission Deployment level cap has been changed. It will be accessible right after the five tutorial missions
The Void Crusades' minimum level requirement has also been changed:
They will be accessible after reaching level 35
Void Shards will start dropping after reaching level 30
After unlocking Void Crusades, players will be granted 5 Void Shards of the same type (the type will be randomly decided) so they will be able to launch their first Crusade right away

Fixed a Starmap mission on which the character could not access one of the Mortars to deactivate it
Fixed an issue where the non-seasonal System Protectors' name appeared under their seasonal counterparts. It was only a name-display problem, the rewards were gained by those players who reached this title

The Sicarian Augmentics's (Movement tree) unlock requirement has been changed. Now players can unlock it after reaching a certain level with their characters. The requirement varies between the various sub-classes (from level 14 to level 17)
The speed of switching weapons is increased (by about 50% for Assassin, and 35% for Crusader)
Considerably reduced unlock requirements for many Ancient Relic item enchants
Duplicated Psalm-Codes within the same item will provide their benefit only once. Psalm Doctrines that require multiple of the same psalm are still working
Numerous tooltips were corrected or changed to better represent the actual behavior or make things more clear and understandable

DoTs now stack up to 5 stacks
DoT stack numbers will be displayed on enemy units

Improved socket generation and Archeotech Shard - Doctrine drop generation, it is much more likely to get socketed items, and better socket distribution
Level 90+ items now can be acquired via loot from level 90+ missions
Hidden All-rewards modifier for turning missions into Tarot missions moved onto the Tarot cards themselves, increasing every tarot card's all reward modifier by 30%
Loot quality now increases the number of enchants and sockets rolled onto an item

The Critical Hit stat's description got updated to represent its additional functionality of lengthening Critical Chance duration by 50% and 100%. There are a lot of additional effects that can increase the duration of Critical Chance effects to make them more valuable
Added "Supreme" description with soft and hard caps where it's applicable
Note: Supreme is a new keyword. Supreme stats can exceed the given stat's soft cap value. This is an existing mechanic, the keyword is solely for clarification

Dot damage type on various Powers have been adjusted to be better matched with the base damage type
Warp type of DoT has been removed due to a lack of build options to support it. It might be re-added later with some further changes
Warp Anomalies
Now summoning a demon can occur in Imperiled Warp heat state
All Warp anomalies can happen in unhinged state, positive anomalies included
Instead of flat (huge) damage for both HP and Suppression anomalies now deal % damage and have various side effects
Positive Warp anomalies perk now properly increases the chance of positive anomalies by about 35%
The frequency of Warp anomalies was reduced
Warp anomalies have been reworked the following way
Daemonic Curse: Now deals 100% Suppression damage and stuns but deals no HP damage
Malevolent Anomaly: now deals 5% Hp damage/ sec and stacks up general Vulnerability on the player
Manifestation: now can summon Chaos Spawns, Bloodletters as well as an Unholy Guardian depending on the Warp heat
Power Drain: deals 5% HP damage 20% Suppression damage and nullifies the player's crit chance for a short time
Psychic Backlash: deals 20% HP damage and and 10 Suppression damage while also applying burn to the player
Warp Surge: deals 10% HP damage/ sec and 10% Suppression damage /sec but slows the player by 90% for 2 seconds (regardless of suppression status)

In this exclusive mission, unravel the secrets of the Charybdis holding centre as you make your way through unique environments and experience brutal combat against an unknown enemy. This DLC contains a special Priority Assignment, which has its own plot and consists of a series of new missions. (The Assignment is available after completing the tutorial missions.)
Charybdis Outpost is part of the Complete Collection. Those who already own the Complete Collection will get it for free automatically.

Three unique consumables can be obtained now if one gets into the top 10 on the Weekly Glory Leaderboard:

The Season of the Inferno has arrived!
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor's v2.3.0 update, released today, includes several long-requested additions to the game. The biggest of all is the new seasonal ladder - everyone starts on level ground, with a common goal: reach the highest tier in the shortest time, and reap the rewards. These goods include several cosmetic items, store discounts and high-quality gear. Coupled with the ladder, a new Void Crusade, Zircon has also been added to Inquisitor.

Gameplay-wise, we implemented several changes: not only does the new main menu and the character creation screen come with a refreshed look, we have also increased the number of character slots to make room for the new heroes of the Inferno. Ancient Relics have received a name suffix based on their enchant to make them more distinguishable, and also come with an extra enchant slot for some extra performance.

The following changes will apply to newly acquired Ancient Relic items:
Ancient items will have one additional enchant slot now, making the total number of slots 5
The items have now received a distinctive name to make it easier for players to decide if they want to unlock them
All ancient item enchants got revised, several new and unique enchants have been added
Ancient items now always roll maximum values on their enchants based on the item level
Perks
Attack anchor 10% /second, up from 5% /second (the max value is unchanged)
Augmented Body 2 No Suppression damage removed, added 50% Max Suppression and 25 Suppression Damage Resist, and no longer disables HP regeneration
Enhanced attrition Gives 150% DoT up from 50%, but now also gives -50% damage for everything that is not a DoT
Heatsinks Heat Damage bonus increased from 15 to 25%
Persistent attrition Now Blinds the enemy instead of giving a flat damage debuff
Self Mortification Now gives 0.75% damage bonus for each percentage of missing class resource
Close quarters gunnery Added multiple damage levels, starting from the old behavior, scaling up to 75% damage when the enemy is in melee range.
Rabble Slayer Gives 60% Damage Bonus increased from 20%
Stride of the blessed 30% Movement speed up from 25%, DR debuff also increased from -5 to -10
Energy Shield system
Energy Shield mechanics reworked. Shield behavior moved into 2 statistics:
Energy shield: The regenerating, permanent part which can be gained either from the Deflector Field belt item or the Puritan Perk
Shield charge: Acts as a refill for Energy shield but it can overflow creating a consumable "healthbar". Can be gained from "on-hit" "on-crit" etc. type of effects. Shield charge can be gained even without using a Deflector field or Puritan Perk, but on its own it does not regenerate
There is a third supplementary effect "Shield regen" that determines the speed at which your permanent shield is recharging. It is always a percentage and an additive statistic. Energy Shields from the Puritan Perk and Deflector field regenerate 1% shield value/sec until they reach their maximum shield value
Personal Void Shield
Now gives a massive - item level*100- points worth of Shield charge boost. It can be stacked up practically indefinitely but it doesn't regenerate
Deflector Field
Now gives item level*25 Energy Shield, 1%/sec Shield regen, 25% Reflect chance and 100% Reflect damage for 60 seconds. Added a maximum cap to Energy charge of 15 000
Misc
The Enunciator Heroic Deed is available for every class now which unlocks the 'Stride of the Blessed' perk
Enemy HP and Damage scaling has been significantly improved, from lvl 70 the game gets gradually harder and harder. Added enemy levels up to lvl 120
Enemy Suppression scaling has been improved while the player's suppression damage dealt is no longer affected by the negative modifiers of mission level difficulty
Armour items rescaled: Now all armours give higher Damage reduce values at lower levels and lower values at maximum item level. Crusader armours also give HP now
Increased the value of Energy Shield, Suppression and HP enchants to varying degree
From now on Vulnerability stacks count as a single Debuff/ stack
Reborn Marauder now spawns fewer Toxic entities on death
Triple shot psalm doctrine now gives -30% crit chance instead of -50% damage bonus
Enchants providing HP regeneration have been increased by about 50-80%
HP gain per hit type enchants have been increased. Mostly affects the endgame
The Suppression regeneration have been increased by 50-80%

The Constructs' HP and Damage internal scaling were buffed to varying degree
Hp regen module now gives % Hp regeneration instead of flat regen to increase its usefulness in the late game. Using HP and regen as a base for tanking is a valid tactic now
The Kastelan's base HP scaling was toned down by about 12.5%, as it benefited more than any other construct from the previous changes
The Kataphron Destroyer's base HP scaling increased by about 15%, as it benefited less from the changes than other constructs. It aims faster with the Grav-Gun now
The Necromechanic Rainment no longer has a cast delay

Event description:
Conclave operatives have learned about a new-fangled scheme of the Archenemy dubbed the "Skull Tithe". Vile agents known as "Skull Procurators", wielding previously unseen warp-symbols have been unleashed to reap skulls for the mysterious ritual.
In response, the Conclave has issued a special implant designed to gather data about this threat. When equipped, it enables its user to identify and tell apart these malefactors from their generic brethren. It will also analyze kill data from the sensorium feed and provide valuable insight to both the user and the noospheric cogitator network.
We expect all Throne Agents to supply their assigned implant with data to its maximum storage capacity.

Malcorum Prime was once a proud Imperial world. Its manufactories now produce weapons for the Archenemy, its monuments to the Emperor lie broken, the tombs if its martyrs defiled. The High Lords of the Caligari sector have decided to end the heresy on the planet and retake it for the glory of the Imperium.
The Caligari Conclave has been formally petitioned to assist in the military campaign on Malcorum Prime. In response, the Conclave instructs all throne agents to partake in the operation according to the extent their duty schedule allows.

Balance
The Archeotech Storm Shield's Shield charge received a minor adjustment on max. range (now has more than basic Shield charge, but slightly less than the original Archeotech skill)
The cooldown of the Shield charge skill of the Archeotech Storm Shield has been reduced from 10 sec to 6
The movement aspect of the Short Burst skill of the Archeotech Shotgun has been slightly adjusted to respond better
The global cooldown of the Single shot skill of the Archeotech Boltgun has been reduced to 0.3 sec from 0.5 sec
