Introducing Exalted
Once you’ve hit Rank 1, the fight to be the very best isn’t over. Beyond this top rank, you’ll be titled Exalted and Warhammer Underworlds: Online will show you a new number that represents your ranking in relation to other players that have also become Exalted. Using the new leaderboards, you’ll be able to find out if you really sit at the top.
New highest rank: Exalted
Queue Changes
On startup, you’ll notice a change to the way you play matches in Warhammer Underworlds: Online. We don’t want to split those looking for games into two separate queues, so to reduce wait times, Casual and Ranked queues have been merged into a single queue, now called Play Online.
Merged Casual and Ranked queues into Play Online

Settings Update
We've reworked the settings system backend and added a number of new graphics settings. Some settings are divided into sub-groups. Click on the drop down arrows on a group to see the options inside.
Reconnection System
This system is in a beta phase. Our initial goal is to support players who have client crashes, and players who are disconnected due to server issues.
Getting disconnected during a match will take you back to the main menu and will only give the option to 'Reconnect' to the same match. Pressing this option will make the client try to reconnect to the server you were dropped from.
The server will continue to the match after a player has disconnected. It will stay active for three timeouts by the disconnected player. If that player doesn't reconnect in that period, it will grant a concede victory to the remaining player.
Disconnecting during board setup or re-drawing your hand is still counted as a concede, only disconnecting during or after fighter placement will enable the reconnection system.
You cannot reconnect to bot matches.
UI Clarity
We're working on clarifying a lot of in-game info, one of the key steps in this is showing more valuable information on fighter HUDs.
Added Move and Defence characteristics to fighter HUDs.
Added popup text when a fighter’s attacks have a special effect, such as Cleave, Trapped, or Ignore Knockback.
New fighter HUD visualisation for the number of upgrades a fighter has.
Card Fixes
On Your Feet no longer removes Shardgale damage from other fighters.
On Your Feet now allows you to choose a target if there is more than one valid target fighter.
My Turn no longer triggers if the potential target is dying.
Multiple cards that applied +1 damage were stacking incorrectly during attack reaction chains. We have reworked the effects for these cards so they are individually applied, instead of having a generic '+1 Damage' effect.
Lightning Strikes now only triggers off of the specific charge-attack.
Stopped Reflected Injury from triggering with dead fighters.
Updated Scything attacks to check if they should be canceled by Maddening Cackle.
Multiple consecutive Gorefist reactions no longer lock the game. This is the first part of a reaction rework where reaction cards won't run their own effect logic, meaning cards that can react to their own effects (eg. Gorefist vs Gorefist) won't stop after the first effect or get bugged.
Bug Fixes - Fixed an issue with some audio clips where they wouldn’t track the current volume. - Fixed an issue where dice would disappear too fast. - Fixed the main menu camera from not panning correctly in some instances. - Fixed Objective markers not appearing in some instances.

Patch 026: Minor Hotfix
Note: You should see 1.0.21 in-game once you have the update.
General Fixes:
Fixed Objectives not appearing on state loading/reconnection
Improved 'Save Deck' functionality: Pressing ‘Save Deck’ will now show a popup until the client gets the proper response from Playfab. This will stop players from thinking their deck has been saved when it hasn’t.
Stopped Reflected Injury from triggering with dead fighters.
Updated scything attacks to stop when using an inspired weapon and the fighter gets uninspired.

Warhammer Underworlds: Online - DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP
Hi all, Producer Nik here!
We’re happy to reveal to you all our working timeline - this shows some of the major features and content drops for the near future that are already in development in one form or another.
Performance & Graphical Settings. We’ve gathered feedback from players in our community who desire more control over their graphical settings, this future update will allow more settings while also improving general performance of the game. Details to some issues we aim to fix can be found in #wuo-known-issues-and-fixes.
Reconnection System. A reconnection system is in the works so that if you happen to disconnect from a game, you’ll be able to rejoin the same match.
Leaderboards. Who is the mightiest warband in the Mirrored City? Who deserves to ravage the city of all its glory? Leaderboards will answer those questions, and those at the top will share in the spoils of Shadespire.
Emotes. Mock, congratulate, or demand the attention of your enemies - we’re introducing a system to communicate with your opponent.
Warbands & Universal Cards. We have two DLC warbands in the works at the moment, as well as two upcoming Universal card releases which will be released as free updates!
Rules Update. While we don’t have specifics to share with you right now, we’re going to be introducing some of the rule changes from the current season of the tabletop game.
If you have some time, please don't forget to leave us a review on Steam! Every single one helps! Thanks so much for being apart of this community!

Known Issues:
Glossary entries are sometimes appearing in English regardless of language.
Some dice and spawn audio effects are playing regardless of volume level.
During Tutorial 1 and 2, the 'Draw Card' tokens are appearing on the UI and may have incorrect text on them.
During the Board Selection phase, the confirm button can become un-interactable. If you are playing online, the server will continue the match as if you were timing out and you will be put in the 3D environment. The button will remain un-interactable on future matches; restarting the client will fix this problem.
