Matchmaking
Changed matchmaking to select the server with the best Quality of Service / Minimum Ping when the server selection is Auto. This means that there will no longer be cross-region matchmaking unless a specific region is selected in the server selection. Please keep in mind that as we continue to tune this process, region lock may increase queue times and amount of bots in games, especially in non-peak hours. We will be removing server selection in the near future to ensure that players are not abusing lag.

SEASON PASS ADJUSTMENTS
- Based on your feedback regarding the Season Pass leveling we have made adjustments to make it easier to increase the level of the Season Pass
Details - Decreased the amount of experience required to level up a Season Pass from 150,000 to 60,000 - Decreased the amount of experience gained by Premium Season Pass (25 free levels) from 3.75 million to 1.5 million - Decreased the amount of experience gained from Daily Quests from 25,000 to 15,000 - Decreased the amount of experience gained from Weekly Quests from 250,000 to 60,000.

24% LOAD STUCK We are experiencing a problem that loading stops at 24% on the title screen when Warlander is launched for the second time or later.
Please wait for around 5 minutes for the game to load.
The development team is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it. We will follow up as soon as the problem is resolved.
GOLDINGS DELAY There is occasionally a problem with Goldings (premium currency) taking a long time to be reflected in the game when first purchased. The purchase itself is working fine and will be accessible after restarting the game.

Next Tuesday the 24th of January at 17:00 (5 PM) CET, Warlander releases officially on Steam. To those of you that have been battling bugs and fortifying features over the last few months, we salute you. Warlander would not be where it is today without your patience, loyalty, and undying support.
Built to the core as a multiplayer game Warlander will feature up to 100 players in a single battle and will be released to a global audience. For us to achieve victory it’s crucial that we continue our community-focused development with a transparent look at the Warlander PC release, so that we are all properly prepared to help make Warlander not only a success but also a contender for the top of the leaderboard.

On behalf of Toylogic and PLAION, we welcome all sword slashers, siege smashers, and castle crashers to join us from day one to set the tone for our fledgling player base to grow and prosper over the weeks, months, and years to come.
Before we get ahead of ourselves and look too far into the future, we must take a look at the upcoming release and clarify what to expect as an early player of Warlander. Please keep in mind the following four factors as matchmaking kicks in officially for the first time and we start the process of welcoming new players into the Warland. With the global release, Warlander will be home to players from all over the world, and we understand the necessity to match regionally for the best possible ping, but also that queue time, skill/experience-based matching, and playing with a full match of players are all important aspects of your expectations as a player.
As the first servers are created, please be patient with the process, as you may initially have similar matchmaking results to the Closed Beta, meaning that there may be times when you are matched with players from other regions, have a higher queue time, are matched with players of a higher or lower skill and experience level, and/or have matches with bots, especially at non-peak hours. This is expected and we ask that you make the best of it as we fine-tune the matchmaking to offer the best results moving forward.
As the player base grows the fine-tuning process will begin where we will tweak the settings to best support having full, regional, skill-based matches, and ideally with a reasonable queue time. From there we will look at popular regions and based on player numbers, continue to roll out further regional support.
