The Warlander December Closed Beta is now LIVE and will run until the January release.
The Closed Beta features an almost complete version of the release build, but should still be viewed as a Beta as you may encounter some unfinished elements, minor bugs, text issues, etc. Your patience and understanding of this while testing is appreciated.
On January 6th 2023 at 1:00 CET (16:00 PST, 9:00 JST) we will be testing our Season switch, which will reset the Season Pass progress for all players, returning the Season Pass to Level 1. Rank-based rewards (stamps and booster items) will be awarded at the time of the season switchover based on each player's rank.

To join the Closed Beta, you must be a member of the official Warlander Discord https://discord.gg/playwarlander and write a Closed Beta Steam Key request via Direct Message to PLAION LIVE OPS#2022.
Once we have your message requesting access to the Closed beta, we will follow up with key. You will need to activate the Key in Steam “Activate a Product on Steam”
As a reminder the Closed Beta will run constantly until release and you will be able to queue at any time (player numbers permitting). On top of that we encourage you to set up scheduled play sessions within the community for faster queues.
Alternatively, we will also set specific Happy Hours where we will queue up together, similarly to the End of Open Beta Event.
Happy Hours Schedule:
Tuesdays – Thursdays – Saturdays starting at 20:00 CET.

PC RELEASE REMINDER
Warlander will release on PC on the 24th of January 2023. The reason for the push into January is that essentially, you guys were too good at your job. 😊 Meaning, we received so much fantastic feedback, suggestions, and bug reports around topics that we want to consider for release, that we had to take a step back and reevaluate the timing. We’re very excited to be at the home stretch and can’t wait to officially release Warlander to the world.

We are very happy to finally share the details that you have all been waiting for, in this Warlander news update.
Over the past couple of months, you have provided valuable support and feedback throughout the Open Beta and have shown impressive patience while waiting for news, so to honor that, rather than share a wall of sentiment of how appreciative we are, we will get right into the details. END OF OPEN BETA The Open Beta will come to an end this Friday, November 18 (5PM JST / 9AM CET). We wanted to give you guys a chance to play a few more rounds before we close the Beta, and for those of you that haven’t played 25 games yet, this is your opportunity to get in and secure your Open Beta rewards. We will be hosting a Happy Hour on Thursday Evening (CET), where we will be jumping in with you guys for some final slashes and bashes. Stay tuned to Discord Events for details.
As a reminder, Open Beta progress will be wiped.
CONTINUED PLAY – CLOSED BETA We had originally planned to not have any down-time after the Open Beta, but that will unfortunately not be the case.
For those of you (like us 😊) that cannot wait for the PC Release to play again, we’re working on setting up a Closed Beta for mid December to collect feedback, suggestions, and bug reports on the PC Release build. Stay tuned for participation details.
EARLY ACCESS We have decided to drop the Early Access phase and go directly into the official PC Release. The reason for this is that we chose to dedicate the time and effort that it would take to set up the Early Access version of Warlander and put that time and effort into the release. Not much changes with this, as you will still have the opportunity to test and provide feedback on monetization and other core features at release.

To reiterate the latest Early Access news: We want to present you with an Early Access version that will not only meet our own quality standards but also address as many of the problems and improvement opportunities as possible that you helped us identify during Open Beta testing.
Bringing Warlander to this state will ensure that we can confidently begin to market Warlander and bring in new players. We want to make sure that as much of your feedback around the new player experience as possible is worked in so that we can positively build on the excellent community that has helped us get to here.
