Two new Tankey Town shops


The new shops allow players to get some cool skins and bullets, you can finally spend your precious marbles on more fun items! (The last shop that is still to open, is kill effect shop)

- The wanted system is added in tankey town, misbehave and the police tanks will come for you
- New achievement drafts added, feel free to check them out but some dont work yet

- True run gives extra lives now every 5th mission
- Camera zooms out far when it follows multiple players around, this is useful for when playing maps like Mansion.

Version 0.8.21 - Mission 67 fix and more map editor fun

A fun new update is here!




Mission 67 fix


Main reason for the update is the fix of mission 67, electro tanks not teleporting and preventing players to progress in the main campaign.





More map editor controls


You can now freely rotate blocks in the map editor, any angle. Just hold down the rotation mouse button, and it rotates. Also; you when you scroll you can change the size of (almost) any map editor prop! But be careful not to destroy your map by making it unplayable. ;)



Lives and checkpoints


Set lives and checkpoints for specific missions in the map editor! This way you can now make a 100 mission campaign with checkpoints and lives, like an actual campaign. :)



Cozy mission 100


AI companions can now join you fighting the king tank, it was the only mission that was not possible to play with the companions, but you can now. But they don't have armour plates, so if they are a big help... well thats questionable.

Version 0.8.20 - Hotfix

Hey!

A quick hotfix, fixing the player 3 and player 4 instant exploding when trying to start a new game.

Also; workshop maps should now be available again, but you might need to refresh and convert!





Changelog:
- Changed how map borders, floor types, and weather stuff are stored (more efficient), so if you notice anything weird with loading/playing a map, please report it
- Fixed artboard becoming unusable on low graphics
- Fixed old maps are shown at bottom of the map list
- No more mass error spam
- Debris from explosions doesn't change to brown tank when falling on the floor
- Player 3 and 4 , should not blow up anymore

Version 0.8.19 - Builder mode, bug fixes and more languages



Builder Mode



Based on feedback from the community, there is now a new feature you can enable in the account settings called Builder Mode, this will allow you to use every prop in the map editor without having to go through the trouble of grinding for marbles.

Note: There is a trade-off, enabling builder mode will disable earning marbles and XP




WIP - new achievement pictures!



You might not have noticed it, but we are working on getting all the achievements their own unique pictures!

And if you are wondering; yes, more achievements will be added later down the line.

Version 0.8.19 - Hotfix

Whats it about?


Small hotfix that fixes a couple of important bugs, but also adds a couple of new things/changes. Now the challenges will correctly register as completed.




Builder Mode


Also; later this week we are implement a new feature you can enable for your Wee Tanks account called "Builder Mode", which unlocks all the possible map editor object for your account, but will restrict you from earning XP and marbles. For the people interested in just making epic campaigns!

Version 0.8.18 - Challenges, True Run, Linux support and more

Hey Blue Bois!

Version 0.8.18 is now LIVE, and the good news is if you are a Linux user, Wee Tanks is now also available for you!

Now that true run and other challenge modes are out of the way, we can fully focus again on working on Multiplayer, the biggest feature yet to come.

NOTE: we have switched the way data is stored from campaigns, making it way more efficient but also more secure, this will require you to convert old campaigns to the new way.





In the map editor, you will notice this new clean-looking object selector, all your objects are nice in categories. ;)

Version 0.8.16 - Steam Workshop support

Hello, my fellow tanks!

You can now upload your custom-made campaigns to the Steam Workshop or download the campaigns other people have made! (This is not only for campaigns but also for sound mods, textures, and custom tanks)





Behind the scenes, we are still fully working on the development of multiplayer mode with PvP coming soon to official. (You can try out a demo PvP on the Steam beta version >v0.8.16e)

Version 0.8.15 - More custom tank features

Howdy Wee Tanks people,

This version's main new feature is the custom tank editor upgrade where you can now color more parts of the custom tanks and have some cool new features like rage mode and peach effect for your custom tanks.





There are also some new items in tankey town, including a new tank in tankey town: the engineer tank

A funny new secret feature is that you can make the boss tanks (excluding the king tank) talk, all you have to do is enter the super secret cheat code at the super secret location:

"ieatbluetanksforbreakfast"

Hotfix update fixing various bugs reported in v0.8.13, mainly about Tankey Town and a bug where people could not buy stuff.



This update also contains a new update on how mines work, you can now SHOOT mines. Just hold the mine key and watch the magic happen.
