Patch 0.53.5 [hotfix 2]



Hello, fellas!

We've just uploaded a new patch in which we fixed problems connected to new shooting mechanics and weapon reloading.

List of the changes:



  • Fixed a rare issue that prevented weapon shooting after reloading in the cases when players have few different types of ammo for this weapon;
  • Fixed a bug with continuing of shooting from submachine-guns (UMP, SMG 90) for a few seconds even if the magazine is empty.
  • Fixed a bug which allows shooting from weapon before reloading animation ends.
  • Fixed a bug with no-PK zone in “Exclusion Zone” location;
  • Particles of shooting for Maradeur 12 have been optimized;
  • Particles of hitting in various objects have been optimized.

Patch for version 0.53.5



Hello, ramblers!

We published update 0.53.5 last week in which we introduced redesigned shooting mechanics. We’ve noticed several improvements according to players’ feedback and our monitoring.

We’ve prepared a new patch for version 0.53.5, in which we fixed some bugs of the previous update and continued our work on optimization.

List of the changes:



  • Improved in-game anti-cheat protection. We’ve added protection on clients’ side. It is not finished yet but it is useful already, and we will continue work on it;
  • Fixed some bugs in the shooting mechanics;
  • Materials of the landscape have been optimized;
  • Fixed a bug with the material of some stones;
  • Grass in the “Dead Forest” has been improved;
  • Grass has been optimized (one more sort of the grass);
  • Solved a bug with animations of NPC;
  • The weapon now will not be hidden during the PDA usage;
  • Added several sounds to HUD. Also, an additional option in the sound settings has been added;
  • “Tens” anomaly has got its sound when it triggered;
  • Fixed a bug with the sound of the “Graviconcentrate” anomaly. But it still pretty quiet. the skew-nuts are your best friend;
  • Fixed a bug with the “Rainbow” artifact;
  • The problems with the work of some electronic devices have appeared in the “Maze” location, and this is not a bug. It is a part of the gameplay.


Desrcription on update 0.53.5

Greetings, fighters!

Today we’ve prepared update 0.53.5 in which we completely reworked and optimized shooting mechanics. Also, this update contains other different improvements.

It is significant changes, which, as we believe, should improve “responsiveness” of the game and increase the server’s capacity. Is this true or not - we have to find out since synthetic loads don’t provide accurate results, as real players do :-)



Shooting mechanics



In this version, we completely reworked all shooting and damage mechanics. Now the shooting becomes more responsive and comfortable, which will affect the game and server performance positively, reducing potential lags. Changes of the shooting mechanics affect not only the PvP but for PvE too: monsters and NPC reacts on hit much faster, than it was before.

These improvements should be particularly apparent to players, who have an Internet connection with not enough stability and have a big ping.

Important: All hits account only within the drawing distance now.

Also, there are too many places started to pierce with the weapon which has enough of armor-piercing value. Be careful with shelter usage.


NPC



In this version, we’ve changed the damage mechanics of NPC. Now, the damage from NPC calculates more correctly, according to a weapon used by NPC. NPC get a possibility to miss much often than before, and fight against them become more comfortable.

Grass optimization



In this version, grass has been optimized. Now grass consuming about 20-30 percent less of GPU resources, whereby it may affect positively on FPS in the game.

Note: As we understand, that many people may think, that this optimization can increase FPS up to 20-30%, we have to make a small clarification.

Consuming of GPU resources by grass has been reduced by 20-30%. But not all of the players realize, that frame consists not only with grass. It may contain lots of other objects, such as terrain, skies, monsters, buildings, and characters. And each of these objects uses some power of GPU.

Since the grass wasn’t a too hard task for modern GPUs, overall FPS will not grow so high. But we believe that some players will note this improvement.


Interface improvements





We continued to work on interface improvement. In this version, we changed dialogs windows and other minor things. The text became more readable, and your answers to NPC now have shortcuts by 1-2-3-4 buttons for your convenience.

Other changes



  • Server code has been optimized;
  • Character drawing effect has been changed. Now characters will not blink when they come into drawing distance;
  • Added a new emotion;

  • Problems with some textures on long-distance drawing range have been fixed;
  • Some textures have been optimized. We will continue this work in the future updates;
  • The drawing distance for some bushes has been increased;
  • Solved a bug with a collision of some objects;
  • Now you can rent a stock from Senya Gunpowder (private, and clan as well).

Update 0.53.4 [hotfix 2]



Hello, fellas!
Today we’ve rolled out a new patch, which includes some critical fixes.

List of the changes:



  • Fixed a problem with a sound of the hornets near the “Bunker”;
  • Problems with collision for some objects have been fixed;
  • Outpost capturing icon now not displays to non-faction players;
  • Non-faction players now not receive faction points during the outpost capturing;
  • The game interface has been improved;
  • The sound of the steam in the “Tunnels” location has been changed;
  • 12-hour delay for getting items from Steam Inventory has been introduced (only for China-1 and China-2). Limitation for other servers is six hours.

Hotfix for update 0.53.4



Good time of day, fighters!

Today we’ve just published a hotfix for version 0.53.4. This patch contains the next fixes:


  • Fixed a problem with grass light in the dark time of day;
  • Abandoned vehicles now almost always have radiation;
  • Fixed a problem with “Disk” artifact respawn;
  • Minor improvements of the game interface;
  • Fixed a problem with a sound of “Graviconcentrate” anomaly;
  • Fixed various vulnerabilities.


In addition, we would like to inform that a new server has been run - China-2 (No PK), with additional bonuses to experience and loot. This server has common NO-PK rules:

  • PvP can be disabled on any level in the safe zone;
  • PvP always enabled for faction players;
  • You can’t examine other’s stashes with disabled PvP.

The description on update 0.53.4

Hello everyone! Today we’ve just released a new patch with version 0.53.4 which contains a new location, quests, changes of the drop rules of M1 ammo and stimulators and includes some additional changes.



Radiation and dosimeter



In this version, we changed the effects of radiation. Now the icon of radiation and the “yellow screen” will be visible only in cases then character got a good portion of radiation.

From now, the dosimeter is your best friend to detect radiation! It can be bought from Gosha at Korovie and from one more place. We are sure, that you can find it out ;)

And yes, one more moment. The natural process of cleaning body from radiation without anti-rad pills was significantly decreased, and medicine kits now heal the character with lower efficiency, if your character got a huge amount of radiation.

Craftable ammo and stimulators



If you are a true cybersport-man, and looting of backpacks during the PvP in your opinion is not for true kings, and “farm” is too hard, and living in post-apocalypse world is almost unbearable, then we have a good news to you: in this version the chance of the drop of M1 rounds and stimulators has been changed.

Changes:

  • From now, stimulators cannot be dropped. Never. Right, that's a freebie! We hope that all of the tears will be tears of joy.
  • The drop chance of M1 rounds has been reduced from 10% to 5%;
  • The maximum amount of dropped ammo after death has been reduced from 30% to 25%;
  • The maximum amount of medicine that can be dropped reduced from 30% to 20%.


Well, we will watch how these changes will affect the economy of the game in the future. If we consider that we need to make additional changes, we will do.

Weapon experience



We paid attention to the feedback from our community, that Mossberg 590A1 shotgun and “Wolf” handgun are very hard for developing it to 100% percent. It has been fixed, and now it is much easier to reach 100% of the experience for this weapon.

The “Maze” location



Are you afraid of confined spaces? Are you afraid of possibility to get lost? Welcome to the “Maze” location! This location is riched in deposits of different anomalies, NDP-Crystals, therefore, having with you a huge amount of screw-nuts strongly recommended. The way to this location is going through the Exclusion Zone. To a word, a new artifact, "Disk", might be found here.




New anomalies and “Graviconcentrate”



Now the “Graviconcentrate” anomalies and screw-nuts are the best friends. Graviconcentrate now reacts to the screw-nuts with the sound, and crew-nut now has the visual effect when it hit this anomaly.

In addition, a three new anomalies have been added: “Tens” (count to ten ^_^), “Burning Fluff”, and “Jellyfish”.

Misc changes



  • Buying of items now forbidden if it may cause overweight;
  • Added a filter to the text chat;
  • The behavior of the “Metal-Junk-Boar” has been improved;
  • Now all other stashes will be signed, and you will know whose loot you're stealing;
  • Improved interface (dialog boxes and etc);
  • Amount of monsters for the event at Black Sunset camp and reward has been reduced;
  • New quests have been added to Gosha in Korovie;
  • New quests have been added to the Bulletin Board in Korovie;
  • Added a new loot: military rations;
  • Taking damage from the environment, bleeding, poisoning now doesn’t log into the chat;
  • Hip firing accuracy of the rifles has been reduced;
  • To prevent different types of fraud, barter of items and money between characters has been disabled for players, who didn't reach 2 hours playtime and didn't get the fifth level.

Description on Update 0.53.3

Hello, fellas!

An update 0.53.3 has been released today, in which we added rewards for the outposts capturing, added new animations of reloading for some weapon and made some fixes and improvements!

Rewards for outpost capturing



Starting with the version 0.53.3, the capturing of outposts in the “Canyon” location now will be rewarded depending on your contribution during the attack or defense.

During the capture time, all players who participate in the capture or defense of the outpost will receive hidden scores. The scores will be accounted only in the dedicated zone. Information about that you’re in this zone will be displayed with the following icon:



According to the number of hidden points, all participants will receive the reward. In general, we prepared 11 different types of rewards, which will be gifted depending on your efforts during the attack or defense.



Rewards are gifted after successful capture or defense. To get all rewards players should visit the nearest mailboxes. As the rewards will be offered different resources, primers, stimulators, paint, and weapon with the custom skin (very rare).

It should be noted that the participants of the losing side can also receive the reward. Herewith, the losing side will receive an only third part of hidden points. In cases, when fighter got less than 10 points, he will not receive the reward.

Advanced Animation


In this version, we added additional animations of weapon reloading to Zastava M-92, Zastava M70, and M16 assault rifles.

Now, if the weapons skill reached 50%, the character will use other animation of reloading for these guns. This animation is a little bit faster, than regular animation and looks more “professional”.

Over time, we are going to add similar animations to another weapon.

Caravan in the “Swamp” location




A caravan of bandits appeared in the “Swamp” location, which periodically carries valuable items. These bandits are armed well and the fight with them requires thorough preparation and tactics.

Clan ranking


Clan ranking system has been added to the “Clan” section of the PDA. Ranking calculates with using next formula: Rating = Reputation * Score / 1000, where “Reputation” is the average reputation value of clan players, and “Score” is a summary value of faction points.

Now clan players will able to know whose clan do more efforts for the faction!


Other changes



  • Outposts capturing time has been reduced from 3 hours to 2 hours;
  • The sound volume of the music in the Bar and at Rafik’s shop has been reduced;
  • Character customization interface has been improved;
  • NPC’s rucksacks are highlighted now. It makes to find them much easier;
  • Animation of hornets has been improved;
  • Loot from the canyon hornets has been increased;
  • Now players who joined faction first time will be rewarded with Glock 17 “Tactical”;
  • “Izolenta” and “Pro” series skins, and 100K tokens in the Steam Store are on sale until the end of the next week.

Description on update 0.53.2 [hotfix 2]

Hello everyone! Today we’ve rolled out a small hotfix for version 0.53.2. In this update, we made some bugfixes and improvements.



List of changes:



  • Solved a problem with MRP-1 and MHP-1 when players had to walk and walk out under the field to register on these mobile points;
  • Solved a bug which allowed players to block climbing the ladder;
  • Significantly increased the reward for the event with Matador in Canyon. Be careful and make sure, that you have enough free space in your inventory to care this reward ;-)
  • Customization interface has been improved;

  • Solved a problem with flesh-eater [boss] stuсking in the trees;
  • All parcels that are older than 30 days now not available in mailboxes. Moreover, all parcels now have an expiration date which displays in information about parcel;
  • Server capacity has been increased up to 350 players;
  • An efficiency of HP and SP5 rounds has been increased against the monsters.
