9.4 Compound Showdown

New Features:
Created quest for Trinity Compound.

Balancing:
Increased magic component to gravity spells by 25%.
Higher difficulties now require more knowledge
to see NG+0 knowledge chests. (infinite nightmare
needs 10 more, nightmare needs 8 more, etc)
Slightly improved rewards from playing Rakenzie
in the Card House.
NG+ enemies are now less likely to run away
outside of battle.
Art level nows slightly affects whether enemies
will run from the party or not.
Lowered charisma needed to enter Trinity Compound
by 10. (this will be reverted when an alternate
way in is created) (failing this charisma check
currently fails the quest)

Misc:
Large Demon in Southern Undercity now requires
20 knowledge to be seen.
The blood altar cat at the start of the game now
requires 10 knowledge to speak.
Fixed various issues inside Cosmic Color.
Fixed metal walls from having skill requirements.
Fixed Living King Bomb from not costing any
realism shards.
Fixed various typos in Trinity Compound.
Fixed Nameless Sewers from setting Hotel Level
to 100.
Increased Violet's generic book tolerance from
300 to 400. (note that book tolerance has no
effect on knowledge gain)
Fixed Quebec's dialog in Yamen Farm.
Fixed pathing issue in Eastern Ocean.

Finished Acceptance of Scale.
Added 2 more sections to the first floor of
Cosmic Color. (total sections are now 11)
Added purple flames throughout Cosmic Color.

Balancing:
Slighty weakened chapter 1 enemies.
Slighty increased exp from early game enemies.
Reduced Toxic Spider's attack by 25%.
Increased healing received on Radiation element
from 10% to 20%. (renamned to recovery)

Misc:
Fixed guard.
Fixed Violet from gaining extra AP when
respeccing.
Fixed confusion. (the unique confusion status
effect for robots is now called haywire)
Fixed a chest in Nameless Forest from interacting
with a chest in Cosmic Color.
Changed battle music to Failed Artist.

Balancing:
Reduced the damage reduction of enemies
on harder difficulties:
Hard = 12.5%. (was 25%)
Nightmare = 25%. (was 50%)
Infinite Nightmare = 50%. (was 75%)
Bombs now do 50% less tech damage on hard
mode and above.
Golem now begins with 100ap. (was 10)
AP from Scholar and Doctorate now also
applies to Golem.

Misc:
Fixed trans event for Demon Door II.
Fixed trans event leading into Western Ocean.
Slightly improved Alex's sprite.
Fixed golem from gaining infinite AP when
entering mines.
Fixed Ghost Ship from infinitely gaining
levels if Ghost Ship level was over 100.
Fixed dialog and memory for waypoint quest.
Fixed Healing Coat from showing up in Archery.
Fixed learning Titan Cleave before learning
Golem Cleave.
Fixed Poetry of Bronze 26-30 from no longer
being accessible if PoB 25 was completed.

Fixed Frozen Ocean encounters from black
screening on escape.
Fixed Poetry of Bloods from retaining debuffs
when teleporting.
Waypoint area now resets environmental effects.
Waypoint area now resets CC debuffs.
Adjusted the mode 7 script to allow maps to
go beyond 999. (since the map limit one will
day exceed the built in limit, decided to get
this out of the way now. let this one know if
any crashes occur)

Dev note: The harder difficulties were just
not fun to play on, especially infinite nightmare.
The damage reductions were simply too high. So
high, murdas were effectively forced to use bombs.

This has been fixed. Enemies are now easier to
kill, and bombs are no longer the only option.

Increased hidden exp bonus of chapter 6 from
25% to 50%.

Misc:
Fixed hotel level, hotel equipment level,
and hotel workers from being deleted on NG+.
(previous saves received 50 hotel levels for each
NG+ up to NG+3)

Expanded size of Western Ocean. (this is
still being worked on) (a new area will be
made west of it)

Balancing:
Increased stats to chapter 5 demon by 25%.
(its health was increased by 50%)
Increased encounter strength of chapter 5
by 25%.
Increased encounter strength to the first
half of chapter 6 by 10-15%.

Misc:
Expanded the engine's skill limit, weapon
limit, and armor limit from 999 to 2000.
(if no issues come from this, then new
weapon types will eventually be made)
Fixed numerous typos in Lampless.
Fixed a minor mapping issue in Lampless.
Violet can no longer enter the ghostship
alone.

New Features:
Shole now has unique victory lines.
Ghost soldiers can now learn erudition.

Balancing:
Epitaph, and the 2 tiers above it, are now
immune to romantic difficulty's debuff.
NG+ painting can no longer be seen on romantic.
Increased the initial exp given when entering
chapter 6. (this is retroactive)
Robots are now twice as hard to flinch.
Robots are now immmune to sleep and charm.
Psychic no longer applies confusion to robots.
Lightning and water can now apply confusion
to robots.

Misc:
Fixed pathing issue in Southern Undercity.
Fixed and buffed holy's ressurrection skills.
Fixed pathing issue in PoB 20.
Fixed Monstrous Bow from being unequipable.
Fixed Intricate Greatsword and Romantic
Greatsword from being able to use shields.
Fixed and strengthened Abstract Extractor boss.
Fixed infinite loop near Alchemist.

Balancing:
Increased health of chapter 1 boss by 20%.
Increased stats to chapter 2 and 3 bosses by 10%.
Increased Shole's stats by 10%.
Slightly buffed Freewill.

Misc:
Fixed puzzles 26 and 27.
Military can no longer go below 0.
Heavily reduced weight of ship level
on Naval Support. (original amount was
so extreme that it seemed like a bug)
Enemies can no lnger transform after
death. (this was causing an exp issue)
Enemies on Romantic difficulty no longer
receive blessed.
Difficulties now properly buff or debuff
enemies.
